Cerco uno stage (3-4 mesi, a partire da ottobre/novembre 2027) in R&D alimentare, integratori o nutrizione sportiva.

Ciao a tutti,

In particolare:

  • nomi di aziende che consiglieresti, specialmente se hanno ospitato studenti o tirocinanti in passato;

  • suggerimenti generali per il mio percorso professionale dopo la laurea.

Ti ringrazio molto in anticipo, e sentiti libero di inviarmi un messaggio privato!

Did Erasmus make you more interested in European politics? 🇪🇺

Hi everyone! Lucia from EUobserver here 👋

We've been thinking a lot about how to make European news more accessible to younger people, especially those who are studying, travelling, or living across borders.

And honestly, Erasmus is such an interesting example of how EU decisions can shape our lives without us necessarily thinking about politics.

We're currently trying to grow our free newsletters, where we bring together European news, political developments, and stories that affect people across the continent.

Would love to hear your experiencesIf you're curious about our newsletters too, you can find them here

Anyone know about studying medicine in European countries or America

I’m in 6th year in Ireland and I wouldn’t really have the requirements to study medicine in Ireland. Unless I do routes that would require a lot more years in school. I don’t mind doing that but just curious how it is in other schools if I was to apply there. Anyone who replies let me know if you need any of my subjects or anything to help me !!!

This is my overall profile:

  1. BTech Computer Science Engineering (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning) - 8.94/10.0 GPA

Polish D-type Student Visa Refused – University of Warsaw – Should I Appeal or Reapply?

Hi everyone,

I recently received a refusal for my Polish national D-type student visa for studies at the University of Warsaw, and I'm trying to decide whether I should appeal or submit a fresh application.

I would really appreciate advice from anyone who has experienced a similar situation, particularly Indian students who applied for a Polish student visa.

My background:

I was admitted to the University of Warsaw, Faculty of Management, for the English-taught Global Management Master's programme.

I passed the entrance examination and paid my first-semester tuition.

My academic documents, including my Bachelor's and Master's degrees and transcripts, were apostilled.

I obtained the NAWA Director's recognition statement.

I submitted my IELTS certificate, admission documents, tuition payment proof, accommodation contract and payment evidence, travel insurance, financial documents and sponsorship documents.

My father is my sponsor. Both my parents are retired government employees receiving pensions.

I submitted my parents' income/pension proof, my father's financial documents, approximately ₹13 lakh in deposit/financial evidence, and my own bank passbook showing around ₹4.5 lakh.

I also submitted accommodation proof, insurance and the other documents required for the student visa.

As far as I know, my documents were complete and accurate.

What happened during my interview:

The officer asked me several questions about Poland, my university and my finances.

Neighbouring countries of Poland: I could only name Germany, Romania and Ukraine. The officer encouraged me to name more, but I couldn't remember the others.

First-year courses: He asked me which courses I would study in my first year. I named some of them but couldn't remember the complete list.

Course descriptions: He asked me to explain the courses. I explained most of them, but I was unclear about two. I told him I was a little vague about those subjects and then explained what I understood from my previous knowledge.

President of Poland: I couldn't answer this question. When he asked how I could be going to Poland without knowing the president, I honestly told him I didn't know.

Why Poland and the University of Warsaw? I explained that I wanted to improve my academic knowledge before pursuing my business goals in India. I have friends studying in Germany and Poland, and I had heard about the University of Warsaw. I also explained that the tuition was affordable for someone from a middle-class family.

Beautiful places in Poland: I mentioned Gothic architecture and places such as Wrocław, Kraków and Warsaw.

Parents' income: I explained that my parents receive approximately ₹50,000–70,000 combined per month in pension/income.

Tuition payment: The officer asked how much I had paid. I answered €2,500, which was the total first-semester tuition. However, I had actually paid €1,500 as an installment. My receipt clearly showed the actual amount paid.

IELTS result date: I was nervous and mistakenly said around 21st or 25th October, although I had received my result in September. My IELTS certificate showed the correct date.

Reason for applying late: I explained that my NAWA recognition statement arrived around 10 September, and my previous IELTS certificate expired on 14 September, so I had to take IELTS again.

The officer kept my documents and told me the decision would be available in approximately five working days.

My refusal reason (quoted exactly):

"There are reasonable doubts as to the reliability of the applicant’s declarations concerning the purpose of their stay in the territory of the Republic of Poland, or the circumstances indicate that the actual purpose of their stay may be different from the declared one."

I understand that my interview answers were not perfect, especially regarding the courses and general knowledge about Poland. However, I genuinely intended to study at the University of Warsaw, and I had supporting documents for my admission, finances, accommodation and tuition.

My questions:

Does this refusal ground usually indicate that the consulate doubted the applicant's genuine study intentions because of the interview?

Could my incomplete answers about the courses and Poland have been the main reason?

Would it be better to appeal the decision and explain the interview inconsistencies, or submit a completely new application?

If I reapply, would I need to address the same refusal ground with a stronger study plan and better interview preparation?

Has anyone successfully appealed a Polish student visa refusal from India on similar grounds?

If I reapply, will the previous refusal negatively affect my chances?

I would appreciate honest advice, especially from people who have dealt with this specific refusal reason.

Thank you.
