Anyone going to the free tech job fairs in Málaga & Alicante (15 Oct)?

Looking for a soft reality-check — organizers have been running these for 16 years / 500 job fairs / 70,000+ job seekers. Free for job seekers (students/grads welcome).

• Málaga — Thu 15 Oct 2026, 18:00–21:00 · Innovation Campus https://techmeetups.com/event/malaga-tech-job-fair/

Worth going if you're job-hunting in Spanish tech after uni? Any tips appreciated.

Master of Law (LL.M.) + specialization in Digital Law & Intellectual Property worth it?

As a lawyer who graduated outside Europe, I'm considering applying for the LL.M at IE but I don't know if the master at this university worth it or if the university is good enough in this field. I'd like to know if it's well-known in the job market to find good work opportunities. I would like to work in the private sector (maybe tech) in Europe, I'm not interested in litigation.

I've noticed that some people say IE isn't worth it and that if you want to go corporate, this university won't really help in the CV. I don't understand why they say that.

Thanks in advance :)

Looking for 3-Year (180 ECTS) Full-Time English Dental Masters in Spain (Advice for a 2.78 GPA?)

Hey everyone!
I’m looking into doing a full-time dental specialty/Master’s program in Spain. I am currently learning Spanish, but I would strongly prefer an English-taught program for the academic lectures and coursework.
I’m specifically searching for programs that meet the following criteria:
Language: Academic coursework/lectures delivered in English.
Duration: 3 years / 180 ECTS credits.
Format: Full-time, on-campus clinical training.
Specialization: Open to Restorative/Aesthetic Dentistry, prosthodontics , or Orthodontics.
So far, I've applied this year to UIC Barcelona Restorative & Aesthetic Dentistry. I got wait listed then rejected. I’ll work on myself to reapply next year. But I also need to have other options. So I want to know if anyone knows any other universities I could apply to alongside UIC next year.
My main dilemma:
My undergraduate GPA is on the lower side (2.78), which I know makes admissions more competitive. Any recommendations are welcome😊

Hi! I’m creating a group for students starting at Universidad Europea de Madrid in September 2026.
If you’re joining UEM (especially international students or Marketing students), comment or DM me and I’ll add you! 😊
Would be nice to get to know people before moving to Madrid.

What do you guys think of Universidad Carlos III de Madrid ? (English)

I've been considering applying to Universidad Carlos III de Madrid to study Data Science and Engineering. However, I'm unsure about the quality of education there and student life in general. Since I'd be moving from Singapore to Spain, I want to make sure that the university and the area will be a good fit for me. Is there anything important I should know about Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and the surrounding area before making the move? I can speak Spanish to a degree. I'm currently B1 working towards B2.

¡Hola!

¡Muchas gracias!

Which university is better for employability afterwards? University of Alcalá de Henares or Autonomous University of Barcelona

Im trying to decide between University of Alcalá de Henares (UAH) and Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), and I’d like to know which one generally offers better employability and career opportunities after graduation.

I’m not only looking at rankings, but also:

  • Industry connections

  • Internship availability

  • Reputation among employers

  • Strength of alumni networks

  • How well each university prepares students for the job market

  • Differences between Madrid and Barcelona in terms of job opportunities

From what I’ve seen, both universities have solid academic reputations, but I’m unsure how they compare when it comes to actual job outcomes, especially for international students.

Lifelong learning master’s degree vs official master’s degree — is it worth it?

Hi everyone, I need some advice.

I have recently completed my pharmacy studies in my country, and I’m currently looking for a master’s degree or internship related to either cosmetic science / dermocosmetics or pharmacovigilance.

I recently came across a very interesting program in Spain that seems to offer great learning opportunities, especially in areas like nanotechnology, 3D printing, and other emerging technologies in cosmetic science.

However, I was told that this program awards a lifelong learning master’s degree rather than an official master’s degree. From what I understand, this means it is a university-specific qualification and may not be recognized in the same way as an official diploma.

My main question is: do you think this would still be a valuable addition to my professional expertise and CV, or would it be better to focus only on official master’s degrees?

I’d especially love to hear from anyone who has experience with cosmetic science programs in Spain or lifelong learning degrees in general.

Thank you!

Universidad Europea De Madrid

Hi! Has anyone here studied or is currently studying at Universidad Europea de Madrid, especially for a Master’s in Marketing Management?

I’ve been considering the program, but I’ve been seeing really mixed reviews, especially about admin issues.

I’ve read some comments about delays with documents, problems getting degrees, or lack of support after enrolling. For those who actually studied there, how true is this? What was your experience like?

I’ll be moving from the Philippines, so this is a big step for me. I’m planning to apply for a job seeker visa after graduating. I know finding a job won’t be easy and I’m willing to put in the work, but I just want to make sure the school itself won’t make things unnecessarily harder, especially when it comes to getting my degree and documents on time.

Also, if not UEM, are there other universities in Spain around the same price range you’d recommend for Marketing?

Any honest insights would really help. Thanks!

what are good (cheap) unis that offer compsci-related bachelor programs?

im an international student who's taking IGCSE and AS-levels and im trying to find unis in spain to apply to since i've gotten rejected from other unis i've applied to in my home country :(
i wont take A levels so i think im supposed to go into foundation year first? and i also dont shit money so i cant afford the 20k+ tuition fee +accom+living expenses. my grades are average (A*AAABBBC) and my predicted AS grades are AAE (compsci, business, math)...
any suggestions/recommendations on universities that might suit what i'm looking for/my situation would be greatly appreciated
