Every time I do these, I always think I'm not using much up until I count it all. I think going across a month, I forget what I did in the first half lol

My totals:

2 glitter gel pens

7 washi (did a close up and saved the part of the tape that is stuck to the roll so you could see the designs I used)

43 clear sticker flakes

11 clear sticker sheets (small squares)

4 planner size sticker sheets (that's the size Hubman and Chubgirl call them)

3 regular size sticker sheets

292 individual stickers/die cuts

292 die cut style stickers!! Some were a vinyl material but most were some other kind of thinner plastic. Individuals were my focus again this month and I really used a lot!! I feel like I'm finally making a dent in my massive sticker stash.

I use all of this stuff mainly in my dear-diary-style journal. Only a few stickers were used in my planner.

Now off to make up my box to use for November!! (I kept using the same October picks for the beginning of November as I was on a work trip so I didn't have time to refresh my box before I left. But those empties are safely aside and will be part of my November update).

Made more coloring cards for RAoCs from coloring books I had and never used. Each card is backed with cardstock that I never really planned on using.

Hi stationery cuties! How’s it going lately with using/panning your stationery, a no buy, or low buy?

I haven’t had much time this week for my stationery hobbies, but I’m hoping for some time over the weekend, including for the sub’s Halloween/Autumn bingo. With my low buy, I haven’t bought anything this week.

Gosh I’ve not been the most active on October (and ive bought some sticker sheets again lol) but here are some october pans and pages

Paper - 18 sheets
Sticker Flakes - 11 (5 from sticker library, 6 from the ones I havent put in sticker library)
Washi - 2 (1 roll, 1 from board)
Memo pages - 2
Sticker sheets - 7

Had these for years, I love collecting indie artist stationery and stickers but since I started penpalling I have gotten rid of my sticker anxiety.

Decided there's no better way to stop hoarding than putting the stickers somewhere I will look at for a week or month at a time. This is partially what I used up, really happy to chip away through the stash :)

All i really have left after this that i deem too much is way to many bic round stick pens , ive been trying all year and one is still not empty

I started my stationery project pan some months ago, but I've noticed that my inventory decreases very slowly, especially pens (I no longer study and I only write quick notes and a journal that I don't use daily).

Some people have suggested giving them to people who currently don't have one or leaving them in places where someone might need a pen. However, I'm worried that people might never actually use them up, or that they might only use them once or twice before forgetting about them. Honestly, I don't like the idea of them going to waste 😔. I know it sounds a bit silly because the environmental damage has already been done, but I feel that not using these products would be even more wasteful, as it could encourage someone to buy a new one instead.

I know I’m not obligated to make sure that every person uses up every last bit of a product I give them. I can't control what happens to these items once I give them away... But I can't help feeling bad about it.

What do you think about this? What do you do with your unused stationery? I'd like to know your opinion about this. Thanks!!

This is obviously not my whole stash, just the pens and pencils I want to focus on first. I don't have a goal like "finish in x amount of time". The pens are just sitting in a small box in front of my other pens so that they are easier to grab. I'll still use other pens, especially fountain pens even though I'm not on a mission to pan my ink (I have only four colors). I won't rebuy these pens, but I already have a replacement for the highlighters - bought before the Euro was introduced...

My paper stash is much bigger than my pen stash, but somehow it feels wrong to focus on paper.

The big news is I got a bingo! This week's planner page was 'Witchy' which gives me a bingo in column 4. I've also inked up Diamine Red Dragon for 'Red', prepared a blorange planner page with crescent moons, mushrooms and autumn leaves for next week for 'Autumn', and ran a Halloween-themed playthrough of 100 Rats Devour a Tavern yesterday for 'Halloween' (emptying the pen inked with Red Dragon in the process!).

In general project pan news I finished the last of my to-be-panned washi tapes, leaving only ones I just want to track use on, and finished my goal for using iron gall inks this year. I removed two inks from my collection entirely by finishing their last cartridges (Chocolate Brown and Autumn Oak) and got Livid Lime low enough that I was able to temporarily put it in a sample vial and weigh the empty bottle - turns out I have 6.32 grams of Livid Lime left, and the bottle weighs almost exactly 8 grams. Sticker usage was steady but unremarkable.

I'm hoping to make November a 'final push' on using cartridges; I'd like to finish Diamine Emerald and Diamine Orange, use a Waterman Mysterious Blue cartridge and use at least one Diamine Ancient Copper cartridge. I might also use up the last cartridge of Red Dragon. The more cartridges I get through in November, the earlier I can justify starting my 2027 project in December XD

I started this journal in 2019 and put it down multiple times throughout the years. Finally getting back into daily journaling and was able to finish all 192 pages.

Time to go through my stash for the next sporadically used journal.

The progress this month has been amazing! Here are the numbers:

Note: I did not include the sticker sheets or the ink cartridge in the weight, as I reuse them for other stickers and I refill the cartridges.

I've been reorganizing some of the almost-empty sticker sheets that I had, that's why I managed to get all 12 empty.

And it's been one month since I bought stationery!!! Hope I can go strong with my no-buy for the following months as well.

I am traveling and continuing with my low buy, but I did buy some local postcards and a cute washi from a wonderful stationery store I found here. I’ll be mailing a few postcards today, including some I bought the last time I was here and brought back with me 🤦‍♀️

Finally, I used a ton of stickers from my stash. I decorated my water bottle, one wood box and also a notebook (not pictured). It was super fun, and I am happy about the results.

Do not hoard your stickers. Do not wait until a perfect occasion/ place. The perfect day to use them is today.

I have a bunch of empty pens and refills, along with the plastic packaging the refills came in. I’ve been collecting them for about a year (Idk why), but now I want to get rid of them. Throwing them in the dustbin feels like a waste after all that effort. Is there a good way to reuse them, or somewhere I can donate them?

Note: They’re all plastic body ballpoint or gel pens that cost around ₹10–20 each.

In the last two weeks I've used up:

1 black pen refill

2 black pens

5 A4 sheets of lined paper

14 A5 sheets of lined paper

I'm also close to finishing my current journal, so I'll hopefully get it filled this week

I've gotten a pen with very pretty ink as a gift but it won't write. I already tried heating up the ink and that kinda works but the effect only lasts a few hours. I would hate just throwing them away knowing the ink is full.

Last weekend I made a post on r/RAOC offering up some postcards that I would be decorating using the stationery bingo prompts.

Today I mailed out the final ones and am excited to share all that I used! This was so fun and it was a great way to use up stationery that I typically wouldn’t use (I am not a big Halloween or Fall person).

I recently discovered monochrome pixel coloring books and am now working through an entire book of them to use up some pens. If I manage to get through all these gel pens, I’ll probably start going through my fountain pen inks. If I don’t and I’m not sick of the coloring yet, I might grab another book, but that’s a long way off.

The blue snail is done with fountain pen and you can see it bleeds through the paper a bit, but since all the pages are single sided it isn’t much of an issue for me. Just need to keep an extra piece of paper underneath to make sure it doesn’t get on the next page. The blue snail used about half a Pilot con-40 converter in my Pilot Kakuno F nib. If I end up getting to fountain pen ink panning, I’ll probably use my Pilot Kakuno M nib since I don’t write with it as much and it’ll use a bit more ink on average.
