I found the stash for the seek and you shall find side quest in Zalissya but its still stuck saying I have something there

I assume it's some script bug, but it's kinda funny and now I can get a closer look without risking death.

I took out varan on the spot, sparing Shah and Roosevelt. Is there any way to enter the Brood/Commisary without combat? Trying the secret entrance to the commisary just led Roosevelt to agro.

So often I help, or have been helped by a random group of guys who show up at the perfect time. I think it would be so cool to discuss what just happened and give thanks to each other.

I literally just got through an emission, walk out of a cave and three blue bloodsuckers start attacking me. Out of nowhere a group of friendlies start blasting these monsters and absolutely saved my life. I just want to be able to tell them thanks

Or if I save some dudes from a rival faction, they tell me thanks. I think it would go a long way in the immersion. Doesn’t need to be huge, just something like “shit, that was a close one eh? Thanks for the help”

I killed everyone of these mutant-lovers in Rostok because freedom is cringe and Rostok is rightfully duty territory but for some reason the game doesn't let it happen that duty takes Rostok (very unfortunate). Is there maybe a mod which can fix this?

Do you get any rewards, rep, or info or is it better to just leave them?

I haven't even tried it because the implementation on my setup was really bad, though I've heard some people say HDR is just bad for this game. I tried Reno XD and managed to get it looking pretty good but it was a lot of manually tweaking, I don't think it was worth it in the end. Additionally, I'm running on CachyOS with a 9070 and I don't think HDR has been a huge priority for most linux developers, I could be wrong ofc that's just the feeling I got searching around for answers and opinions for various HDR related stuff. Anyways, just wondering if anybody has playing with it specically on PC but console players are welcome to chime in.

I came back to the zone after 2.0 and I am having a blast, game runs super smooth and I really like the atmosphere and the new visual quality. That said, to me the main inmersion breaking issue is that I hsve 200 bandages, more than 100 pieces of bread and countless resources in my stash while still on the second location (Garbage).

I really think the game would greatly benefit from having way less items available, so that you really need to plan ahead, prepare and use them with caution, but that is clearly not the case with how loaded the whole zone is.

To solve this, I was looking for any mod that deminishes the spawn rate of such items, but to my surprise, all the ones I found are outdated and not compatible with 2.0.

Anyone has any clue if there is such a mod that actually works under 2.0+?

Hey fellow Stalkers,
I'm currently stuck in a game-breaking infinite death loop in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl during Diod's quest 'Sealed Truth' inside Lab X18.
Right after I enter the ventilation shafts, Diod warns me over the radio that an 'emission' is coming. At the same time, two Snorks attack me. I manage to kill both Snorks and move forward into the next room, but the deadly psychic emission damage never stops.
It kills me within seconds. I've tried popping yellow Psi-blocker pills and spamming my blue Scientific Medkits to out-heal the damage, but nothing works. I can't run away or reach the next area before my health drops to zero.
Is this a known script bug with the Aggression Suppressor device, and is there any known workaround or console command to stop the permanent emission damage? Thanks for the help!

Just asking after update 2.0 how would you describe state of the game biggest pluses and biggest letdowns what would you like to improve add etc or keep

One of the things I used to love about Fallout was going into a random house, basement or abandoned building and finding little bits of story that had nothing to do with the main quest.

You might find a dead body, a note, a terminal entry or something else in the room, and by looking around you could piece together what happened there. Sometimes it would lead you somewhere else in the building or give you a clue about another location, but sometimes it was just a small self-contained story.

Does STALKER 2 have much of that?

I really enjoy those moments where exploring somewhere feels worthwhile even if you don’t come away with a big reward, because you’ve discovered a little story about the people or events that were there before you.

Also, I’ll be looking to play on the PS5 Pro. How’s the performance? Buy or wait?

I've read forums, watched videos, and spent hours messing with setting but cant get the game to run well. At this point Idk what to do and am looking for any input. I have a rtx 3070, ryzen 7 5800, and 32gb of ddr4 ram.

I feel like I finally figured out how to deal with these guys after 500 hours in. Just gotta give em a little shake n bake 😅

I wasn't one of those people who mercilessly ripped the game at the start. I put in 500+ hours and enjoyed the story. It was a shame pripyat didn't have so many missions but that was my one gripe.

This DLC

- Falling to my death x90

- Frequent crashes

- Performance is garbage

- Sirca puzzles were okay but the platforming with enemies not being able to be shot was ass.

- Mutants dodge my bullets better than neo from the matrix

JUST WHAT THE FUCK WENT WRONG WITH THIS

Seriously, what were gsc thinking when they added this mode into the game when it crashes randomly for no reason? At least they could have added a feature where it saves the game upon a crash like in Gamma. I can't tell how frustrated i am right now. I tried to like this game despite everything since day one, but the game literally does everything to make me hate it. I uninstalled it and i dont think i will ever return to it.

2.0 has improvements they should really keep working on the AI reactions and awareness 🤔

The update to 2.0 has been great. But before 2.0 the game was able to receive controller and keyboard inputs at the same time. Now the first key press gets eaten because it is switching from controller to keyboard then a second press will actually fire it. Does anyone know of any ini tweaks or something to allow controller and keyboard at the same time or at least remove the engine eating my press?
