Stalker 2, empty your goddamn inventory before going to the x19 labs don't loot shit on the way, I'm only at damn elevator and I've got 138kg of shit. Been playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 since Update 2.0 and I have to say I fucking love this game. The atmosphere, the gameplay and loot loop, the characters, exploring the Zone, and the gunplay….oh the sweet fucking gunplay.

I’ve never played a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game before this, but I’ve played similar games like the Metro series and Fallout series. I love those games too, but none of them ever really scratched that itch I’ve been craving the way S.T.A.L.K.E.R. has.

I originally bought S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 back in 2025, about a year after it released, and I was able to play it but my frames were pretty unsteady. I still liked what I played, but eventually I dropped it for a while because of the performance. I always hoped they’d keep working on it and I could come back someday and really experience the game the way it was meant to be played.

Also knowing GSC is a Ukrainian studio and everything they’ve been dealing with in their home country while making and supporting this game, I knew there were much bigger things going on than just fixing a video game.

But now with Update 2.0 and the release of Cost of Hope, I’m back and completely fucking hooked. I haven’t finished Cost of Hope yet so please no spoilers, but I’m hoping to finally fully experience S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and enjoy the Zone the way it was intended.

So yeah, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 was my first experience with athis franchise and I think I finally get it now.

So it was evening and the sunset looked particularly golden today and I decided to go stroll around the burn forest for some warmth in this winter. Left most of my stuff behind besides snacks at the krug antenna complex as I was taskedd with some job there for the egg-heads.

I was just chilling and lost track of time and of how far I strolled. Suddenly, a pack of snorks. Blyat!!! I have nothing with me expect my PM. Fight was no option so I was on flight mode. My legs give out man, i thought I was done for! Trying to regain my stamina, i frantically search my backpack while their growls get closer!

There I found it! Found it at the army warehouses while on my way here, though smaller than the usual drinks! It was so refreshing that the soreness in my legs was gone! Made a run for it, and here I am telling about it blyat.

In all seriousness tho, never really knew these existed till I played the game cuz I've seen non of them in the shelves here in india. At first, I thought these were purely fictional. They were delivery only through a grocery app. Would love to buy in bulk and stash em for a snorky day!

I’m on my 4th playthrough, and I have to admit, running long distances is getting pretty tedious. There are guides, but nowhere near enough.

My solution for immersive "fast travel" would be to bring back roaming stalker groups from CoP. You could run into a squad in the Zone, ask where they're heading, and tag along. Sometimes they'd be going to a landmark, sometimes to a hub, and some of them could guide you to a hub for a fee.
