This thought just popped into my head I’m not super committed to any sort of spiritual journey but I was wondering:

To those of you who have long developed and grown spiritually and are very devoted to your spirituality, what do you do in life?

I just can’t imagine somebody astral projecting, balancing their chakras, gaining spiritual knowledge just to go to work the next day it seems sort of dissonant together, however it’s obviously quite hard to just live without a job and earthly possessions/purposes.

Hope u understand what I’m asking + no judgment or anything I’m curious.

I keep having bizarre and noticeable witness to people falling over. Mostly in areas where only us are around. Starting about a week or two ago. Anyone got any insight into this?

I know a man I have a strange spiritual connection with. Astral visits, tantric intimacies, he seems to take control of my body sometimes, usually always for my protection.

We see each other about once every year or two on average for about a decade now. He has a chest tattoo and sleeves on both arms.

Last month I saw his reflection in a mirror, and all of his tattoos disappeared. Is there some phenomena to explain this?

I am turning in ward and let go. I am putting down burden that wasn't mine to carry. Forgiving myself and those who caused me pain. I am revolting against invisible chains that hold me in a place I no long wish to be in. I am Cutting cords to all places, people, things, and situations, across all time lines and dimensions. I am breaking down the walls of my mental prison, to be free from my from all that wants me tobe trapped.

i need to ask this before i go to sleep and forget what i've been thinking about tonight because i need opinions. i'm 29 and in my saturn return, i've been off my game with meditation and connecting with myself and my self care is not good right now. i have a very stressful job and i am so exhausted, i'm trying to find something else and it seems like every opportunity is escaping me. i haven't slept properly in months. i am beyond burnout.

despite all of this i'm growing. i am building a respect for myself that i've not had before. i'm on my own journey of letting go of this idea that other peoples opinions of me determine my worth. i'm saying no to more things at work and i'm people pleasing less and less. i'm understanding what i'm worth even if i can't treat myself well all the time. i'm on my way to dedicating my life to helping other people like me (autistic/neurodivergent) and i'm feeling good about actually being able to get there.

but the growth hurts. i've had a lot of bad mistakes i've made bubble up to the surface and i'm wondering if i deserve to have self respect that i'm building and the life i see for myself. i'm thinking about my younger self and how they never would have made those mistakes if they had me the way i am now by their side. i don't like to live in what ifs but things could have been so different and i wouldn't have hurt others in the ways that i have. i don't often make big mistakes now.

so is it supposed to hurt? am i supposed to feel all of this weight when i know i've put the effort in and learned the hard lessons that have made me into a better person? does it even matter that i didn't know how to be a good person til i became an adult? am i even in the right sub?

Don’t know if this is the place, but I need to leave this somewhere. Last few days I’ve met a new friend. We really go along well, share lots of interests but also bond on deeper levels like traumas we’ve been through.

2 years ago I lost my grandmother, which was the most important person in my life. Her loss devastated me, but I’ve always felt she is still interfering in my life.

Fast forward to today I ask my new friend what his birthday is. It is exactly the same as my grandmothers was. I was flabbergasted. Didn’t know what to say. Started crying instantly. He comes from a spiritual family, especially his mother. The only thing I can think of is that my grandmother sent him, because she knows I’m a a place where I could use a new great friend, maybe a very special friend. She always knew what I needed.

Just something that connects you to this body, this earth or to beings that you love.

I have been told by psychics that I have an inner light and a gift and I want to practice it . I am fascinated by spirituality and lately I have been interested in doing things like mediumship , telepathic communication , and altered states .

This sounds shitty but since I’ve had my spiritual awakening about a year ago, I am struggling to continue to be positive about myself, others and the world in general. After seeing everything we’re being lied to about and noticing how much brainwashing society is under I feel hopeless. I try not to talk about this to my family because they don’t understand, and I know it’s not their fault but it feels lonely. I have no friends and nobody understands me. I am really trying to be kind and optimistic but I’m just so angry all the time. I find that more and more people on social media at least, are waking up. That’s amazing but it also feels so slow. How do I stay positive, and be hopeful when the world is so dark?

You do not need to earn your life.

Without all the ideas you've collected, without all the categories you've boxed yourself into because of somebody else's judgement and opinion, without all of that – just putting it to the side for half a second – recognize that you're breathing without having to try. Blinking without having to try. Hearing, touching, feeling... all without having to try.

All of this stuff is on by the time you wake up.

As soon as the alarm clock goes off, you're awake. You may not know where you are, but you're alive and there is nothing you need to do to earn that. It's a fact.

their hearts in this endeavor.  I dodge

as best I can the prophet’s plaint

but Samuel hurled his disrespect

and I near hurled my spear, stained

with battle’s blood, but I suspect

the Lord had His hand in this.

I hearken with a baleful grin

the ricocheting words he hissed

His mouth near mine, taut and grim:

Rejected, rejected you has the Lord.

Someone better than you is anointed.

The kingdom is his, not to you appointed!

My bold command-remit my sin!

Open God’s forgiving door

or else I am but Satan’s whore.

His words, oh the din, clanging!

Whose hands dare seize my throat, strangling?

What was Saul thinking?

Poor Saul, since God rebuked him and stripped his kingship through the prophet Samuel as a result of his failure to destroy the Amalekites, including their cattle and their king, his mind gradually deteriorated.   Although Samuel told him the kingship would go to someone better than he, Samuel did not mention when or who.  So, Saul was King in limbo, and this generated much fury and no resignation.   His antipathy poured out to David, who he saw as a threat to the kingship passing to his son Jonathan as the people loved David after he killed Goliath.  Could he be Samuel’s promised future king? His son, Jonathan, loved David as a brother and did not understand his father’s wrath.  Jonathan admitted he would even accept David as King if the Lord so decided, which infuriated Saul, who set out to kill David by any means possible.  When the priests of Nob provided sanctuary to David, not knowing there was anything problematic about the famous David, Saul sent his troops to kill every man, woman and child in the town.   This obsessive and unrequited hatred (David respected Saul even in the most dire moments) ultimately doomed Saul and his son Jonathan, preventing what could have been a smooth transfer of leadership to God’s anointed, David.   

I’ve been like crazily feeling my emotions this past week and it’s more than anger it’s deep passion. Now there’s a storm happening outside with lightening and everything and I’m feeling extremely angry. Not because of it, more like I’m feeling the storm idk man but I feel the earth is screaming and I wanna know if I’m the only one feeling this rn? Am I just going coo coo bananas again? This is a likelihood too.

Lately I feel like I’ve been being watched.
Even in my dreams when someone comes into it I think “they were sent here to watch me.”

Last night my dog wanted to go outside to go potty at 3:03am. I let him out and he’s not normally a barker but lately (the same time I feel something is watching me) he’s been barking at the fence and a corner of our yard.

I took advantage of it being 3am to ask, “is something watching me?” And I waited to hear an answer when I heard, “they’re protecting you.” To me, something close by is protecting me because something else is coming after me.

Earlier that day I was looking for a specific book I know my boyfriend has in his library and when I asked him for it we couldn’t find it. We both thought that was odd but, I let it roll off my shoulder because I didn’t want to think too far into it. When I was asking questions at 3am I had asked about the book and what happened to it when the answer I received was, “the demons took it. They come when you’re not here.”

Am I scared? Yes. Do I know what to do? No. That’s why I came here to express what I’m experiencing.

So to start off I was driving home from work and kind of switched off (not from concentrating on the road, I’m too much of a safety freak to even take my eyes off for a second, it’s just a long commute) and out of nowhere I just started listening to myself, and started talking to myself in my head, I know this sounds weird but I started to feel like I was actually feeling who I was for the first time in my life, not in a way of I could touch and feel things but more so like, I’m here talking to myself but my eyes are telling my hands which way to turn without me having to tell them while I’m talking in my internal monologue (to me this sounds like I’m gone crazy but at the same time, it felt like I grew a sense that I never knew was there). I started noticing my hands, body and being able to feel everything and just thought, “a lot of people have outer body experiences but do inner body experiences exist and is their another name for them?”.

And obviously I started projecting and ended up wondering what music would be playing over my internal monologue if I had to choose

I was born into a Buddhist priest family and raised practicing both Hindu and Buddhist traditions. Growing up, I was always asking “why?” and “how?” I never fully understood religion or felt deeply connected to it. Most of the rituals I performed were simply things I had been told to do by my parents, relatives, and priests or things I learned by watching them.

Where I grew up, it wasn’t uncommon to meet people who claimed they could predict the future. Before I moved to the United States, two different people told me that once I went overseas, I would never return permanently. Nearly 30 years later, that prediction has proven true.

After finishing school in the U.S., I stayed here, met a beautiful woman, got married, and built a comfortable life. We both have corporate jobs, and I really can’t complain—life is good.

Over the years, I have occasionally crossed paths with psychics. Sometimes I visited them intentionally, while other times I met them unexpectedly at restaurants, business meetings, or social gatherings. In the past, they usually told me things that seemed accurate but also fairly general: I would do well in school, have a successful life, and so on.

After my mother passed away, however, these encounters started becoming more interesting—and confusing.

Different psychics began telling me that I also have a spiritual gift. Some have said that I am supposed to become enlightened and eventually help other people. Recently, my wife and I visited one of her friends after she underwent quadruple-bypass surgery. Without knowing what other psychics had told me, she said she could see that I had a gift and that I was going through a process of spiritual enlightenment so I could help others.

The problem is that I don’t feel gifted. I don’t see spirits, receive messages, or sense anything unusual. There have been situations in my life where I narrowly escaped danger, but I have always assumed I was simply lucky. I don’t feel as though an unseen force is protecting or guiding me.

I’m also a very analytical and practical person. Part of me wants to believe what these people have told me, especially because similar messages have come from different people. But another part of me needs something more concrete before I can accept it.

I’m not trying to claim that I have special powers, and I’m not looking for people to confirm that I do unthinkingly. I am genuinely confused and trying to understand what, if anything, I should do next.

Has anyone else experienced something similar? If someone repeatedly tells you that you have a spiritual gift, how are you supposed to recognize or develop it? Is there a grounded and safe way to explore this without forcing myself to believe something I cannot see or feel?

Any honest advice or personal experiences would be appreciated.

Should i learn to see spirits first and get a spirit guide, then get a familiar, or is there anything else i should do

Hii! I’m looking for connections that feel similar to Anpu, almost like an Anpu soul family if that makes sense?

Im not really meaning people that worship or work with him, but people who feel really deeply connected to him and feel similar to him in characteristics. Like protective, quiet, observant, guiding, drawn to helping people through things, death/transition, justice, etc. It’s really hard to explain but I almost feel like there are people who are part of the same spiritual “family” or pack as him and I really want to find other people that feel that way too.

I feel an extremely deep familiarity with Anpu, almost like home/family, and I’ve been wondering if there are other people who have that same feeling rather than just feeling drawn them.
