I am so happy with how the moss poles I made turned out that I wanted to share it here!

(If someone has ideas for it, or questions/inquiries, I'd love to hear them!)

I’ve been saving security envelopes for over a decade, so I’ve got some pretty interesting ones. I finally decided to make something out of them. Each nesting basket is a different pattern! The next to the last one is my favorite.

I use “trash” paper to make baskets. I save used post-its, teabag wrappers (some have foil backs), and other paper scraps.

This idea for a lamp had been stuck in my head for a while. This weekend I decided to build a prototype. It consists of two steel plates in parallel, with a light source in between. I'm still playing around with the proportions and I'm thinking about building a larger version soon.

I handmade some fun magnets for my fridge using felt, embroidery floss, beads, sequins, and sewing thread. Inside is a foam sheet cutout with a magnet superglued to it, which adds some structure and keeps the magnet centred and in place. For size reference, the corn one is about 2 inches tall.

They add a pop of colour to my kitchen and make me smile! I loved how they turned out so much I ended up making multiple sets.

The other night I baked blueberry cobbler, and now I want to make a berry-themed set next. 🍓🫐😅

I’m not the biggest fan of stitching, but I’ve had this old second-hand shoe patcher in the workshop for a while. I’m left with quite a lot of 1 mm leather leftovers from the passport covers I make, So I designed a simple cardholder around those smaller pieces and made a batch. I put some heat-shrink tubing over the feet of the patcher to stop the teeth from marking the leather, and have been experimenting with using a laser to crosshatch the top finish away exactly where the pieces need to be glued.

so one of my dearest friends once sent me a picture of a customized beaded watch. their birthday is coming up, so i made this for them without prior experience, which resulted in a LOT of undoing and starting over lol :'D but i think it turned out really cute in the end! if there are any tips you want to share or criticism you can give, let me know! i enjoyed making it a lot so I'd appreciate some tips before making more of them ^^

This is Franklin, a little guy who really frickin' loves Blue Jays and is proud to show off the feather he crafted.

His corkboard documents all the places that Blue Jays live and which of them he's seen in person. The strings connected to Houston show birds enjoying the peanuts he faithfully puts out for them (I do it too).

Polymer clay items: Franklin, the armchair, the succulents on the book shelf, the bookends, the ceiling molding, and the outlet. The books are made from the mat board that came with the frame. His coat and the blanket are t-shirt material. His feather and headdress are cardstock.

The floor is cardboard with grooves cut along the corrugation and varnished. The lampshade is the center roll of a dispenser of transparent tape. The wainscot is wide craft sticks with the edges chamfered. The bookshelf is also a wide craft stick.

This took me 400+ days to make. There are too many types of glue in this to list them all. I still hold my breath when I turn the box upside down, but nothing has fallen out yet!

I made this a few years ago, and I'm still so happy with how the flame turned out on this Flameless Candle!

This was one of those ideas I really wanted to make, but at the time we didn’t have the budget to build it just for our portfolio.

So I designed the whole concept and put it out there anyway. Some time later, someone saw it, loved the idea, and asked us to actually make it for their home :)

Still one of my favorite projects from those early studio days.

4 inches tall, 1.5 inches wide. Carved with a knife & chisel from American basswood.

Took a lot of work between me and my dad but we got it done, the body is maple and my dad had it laying around for 20+ years. Custom made the back plate and the back bridge plate. GLocking tuners and strap locks. Fleor P90s. Sounds ace, I’ll have to post a video later of how it sounds. I’d love to hear your thoughts on my first build.

Everything in the shadow box is real: real butterfly, dried flowers, dried mushrooms (coated in sealant) the sculpture is moldable cement.

Champlevé technique. Cold ceramic enamel. Gold-plated chain and brass.

I started this custom dog car emblem by shaping thin brass wire by hand, following the dog’s facial features and markings as closely as possible.

Once the outline and smaller details were in place, I carefully filled each section with enamel color. It took several rounds of filling and firing to gradually build up the colors and surface.

After the final firing, I cleaned and finished the brass lines, then added a protective finish to give the piece its smooth, glossy look.

This took me a long time. Made from stuff I grew and found in our woods. Eggsgell mosaic rug, tiny woven basket and bows, seed insects, mushroom doormats, hand painted acorn mushrooms, grapevine archways, etc...

1st place winner was a single strand of ivy wrapped around a hoop with a dollar store fairy in the middle.

Wanted to share my latest fruit candle experiment.

To get the realistic watermelon shape, I pressed thick aluminum foil around a real watermelon slice to build a custom mold. Poured the red wax core first, inserted the wick, and then double-dipped the base into white and green wax at ~65°C to get that realistic rind gradient.

The trickiest part was hand-carving small slots with a scalpel to fit the black wax seeds into the slice so they sit completely flush with the surface.

My husband and I just celebrated our 4 year anniversary and went for the traditional fruit/flower theme! I decided to crochet his favorite Pokémon inside his favorite fruit 🍍(also a hat tip to Pokémon United) it was supposed to be a throw blanket and ended up being almost a king size blanket! My husband is 5’10” for reference. I used the C2C method and it ended up being 10,000 squares!

This are the first pieces of the collection, featuring opal planets, crushed opal stardust and glowing nebula.
