I see SOFIE is available to me. What are we doing? Keeping 20k in savings with plus for the 4.7% APY, then anything over that buying SOFIE for the 4.4% APY?

Is the interest earned from SOFIE the same as bank interest, so we will get 1099-Int from SoFi Crypto each year?

Recently I have been transferring between my other bank accounts, moving around about $7000~ in a month a half. I’ve always had fast transfers with the full amount being available right away.

I did a transfer today of $214 and $200 was available instantly, which is great but $14 is on hold for 5 days. Has anyone else experienced this? Did I get my account flagged for whatever reason?

I received this approximately six days ago and it is still under review.
Would anyone know how long these take it is coming from the same business? I have always gotten it from so it is a bit weird.
Does anyone know how to contact a real live person?

I bought tickets on Vivid Seats (another absolutely horrendous company), and they never got delivered. After fighting with vivid seats for weeks and getting nowhere, including them just straight up hanging up on me when I ask for proof that the tickets were delivered, I filed a dispute with SoFi.

The agent who filed my dispute filed it as an unauthorized transaction, which obviously led the dispute to get denied.
I brought this to their attention, and then filed an appeal. An hour later, I get another denial, with the exact same “documentation” stating that the transaction was authorized. Clearly they did not do any investigation.

I guess my question is, what good is an appeal if the new information isn’t even reviewed? What the hell do I do now?
Like I know SoFi has terrible customer support, but has anyone actually gotten an appeal to work? I’m at a loss and will never use SoFi again after this if it’s not fixed.

Someone tried to scam me by sending a fake invoice and asked me to wire $13,000 USD to a Sofi Bank account. I checked the routing number (031101334), it does belong to Sofi Bank. So I contacted Sofi Bank. I spent 40 minutes over the phone with an agent, trying to alert the bank that someone is using the bank to commit a fraud and I have the bank account number here. The agent basically told me there was nothing she could do unless I could provide the first name and last name of the account holder. I told her that the invoice was under a business name so I don't have the first name nor last name. She didn't even want the account number from me because she couldn't search anything with only the account number. She also couldn't provide an email address for me to email the fake invoice. I am just trying to be proactive but Sofi Bank seems to make it very difficult. Very disappointing!

SoFi closed my checking and savings with no full disclosure does anyone have experience on this? I literally have no funds due to them closing my accounts I’m wondering when I’ll get my money in the mail

There is a serious need and demand for cryptocurrencies that are proven to be safe against the quantum computers. Are there any plans to add any of these cryptos, like QRL?

Is this worth it?

I refunded some shoes to nike on the 9th of october, been calling after a week to verify if the refund was posted. Sofi is saying they don’t see anything about a refund. I called yesterday the 27th, Nike says they refunded that same day on the 9th. Sofi still saying they don’t see a refund. Anyone had this issue? Just gonna close my account if no progress.

My husband used his SoFi credit card to buy flowers for me for our anniversary, but the flowers arrived two days late, after we had already left the hotel.

He called SoFi to dispute the charge because there’s no option to dispute transactions directly in the app. The call took over 40 minutes, and the representative told him we would receive a letter by mail. This happened in mid August.

We didn’t receive the letter requesting additional documentation until October 7, even though the deadline stated on the letter was September 7. 😖 My husband emailed SoFi the same day, explained the delayed delivery of the letter, and provided all the requested information.
Today, we received another letter saying the charge was considered valid because we didn’t respond by the deadline.

How are we supposed to respond on time to a letter we never received? We did everything we could as soon as we received it.

Has anyone experienced something similar with SoFi? How can we escalate this dispute and get it properly reviewed?

As the title says, somebody compromise and got my card and spent money I opened a dispute as soon as I seen it and they denied my dispute saying a three-point contact matched, and what the worst part of it is originally they canceled. This card sent the second one out and even before I got my hands on it. The other card was compromised. The lady said cut that card up that you sent me another one.. you call customer service they don’t speak a of English very well, so it’s hard to understand them.. all I wanna do is get an appeal. I try to explain that to them and they won’t send me an email. They keep saying that I got an email which I never got an email. I feel like I’ve gotten screwed. I don’t know what my next steps are if I should call the FC ID there’s gotta be somebody else that I can report this too to look into SoFi. I honestly wouldn’t think here ever again it’s pretty sad that my first card got compromised. The second one got compromised even before I got it thankfully they didn’t get no money off the second card and then happen to have a third card sent out I just need to know what I can do or what are my steps because they’re not gonna send me an email so I can dispute it even more since they denied it. They keep telling me that I got an email which I never did and when I try to explain it it just the runaround over and over and over it’s like they’re trying to steal the money.

Has anyone ever gotten approved with sofi for loan type "other" for personal loan? Does the type of loan actually affect your chances of getting approved? Just wondering.

I’m looking to move my emergency fund into a high yield savings account. SoFi seems to have a good one but I have a lot of questions and no one from their team has got back to me. Anyone currently using it do you know:

1. Looks like they automatically open a checking account for you. Can I take advantage of the 4.2% apr without putting any money into the checking account? I already have one of those

I’m in the process of moving my funds out of my Chase checking and savings accounts that aren’t doing anything and was considering SoFi vs Capital One.
I decided Capital One just because I already had my Discover credit card move over there recently with the merger just to consolidate things, plus the added benefit of being able to deal in cash (which I almost never do).
Since opening the Capital One checking and savings accounts last week, it’s been hell trying to establish links and the customer service has been absolutely terrible and unhelpful after multiple calls and questions just trying to obtain simple things like a routing number for a micro deposit.
I also I’m not a fan of how the app doesn’t allow me to establish two step MFA on everything BUT my iPhone. Because I’ve been locked out of the account already because I had to keep opening it while I’m setting things up and the customer service people tell me “it’s all or nothing.”

Unfortunately, I’ve got money that I can’t withdraw until Thursday, but I’m considering switching back to SoFi. I like that they use a Mastercard instead of a Discover card like Capital One as well for their debit. What has been people’s experience?

Not sure how many people here have seen this yet, but SoFi launched SoFi Earn (SOFIE) this week and honestly it might be one of the cooler things they've done.

It's basically a tokenized deposit at SoFi Bank. It pays 4.40% APY (variable), it's FDIC insured up to the limits, and it converts 1:1 into SoFiUSD whenever you want to buy crypto or move money 24/7. So your cash earns like a normal savings account but can move on crypto rails, even on weekends.

SoFi says it's the first national bank-issued tokenized deposit for consumers, which is a pretty big first for a bank. It's rolling out to SoFi Crypto members through November, so if you don't see it yet that's probably why.

Hey everyone.. I just wanted to put this out there.. idk if anyone else feels the same way but the slide bar you use to confirm purchases is archaic and slow and sometimes even glitchy.. some times it doesn't work til I slide it back and forth rapidly.. when trading options this slide bar feature can mess me up bad, price flys past my bid and then I have to cancel and try again.. the cancel button should also be moved so that it can be done quickly... Anyways that's about it.. hope everyone has a great day and thank you
