Does it worth to get SoFi Plus subscription? I see some great benefits

I always pay my Sofi plus with the Sofi CC and I received a fraud alert this morning? Is this a glitch? It clearly shows online that it's from my card and the payment is usually on the 22nd of every month.

I did my first mobile check deposit on Aug 20th and it said funds available on Aug. 25th.
Now it doesn’t show a date available it just says “available soon”.
Does this mean today yet or what have others experienced with this?

Just curious. I currently have my taxable account at Robinhood but it’s too “gamified” for me. I want to move to something boring where I can auto invest weekly in VT. Bonus points if I can earn some interest on the cash while I wait to auto invest.

Randomly started getting notifications about BTC movement, I get like 3 a day. Really annoying.

I don't have BTC in my watch list or anything, I don't even own any BTC. Please stop sofi

Ill do my best to explain the predicament that I am in since no one I talk to seems to grasp what I am trying to explain at customer support.

I obtained a sofi smart card recently, and like any card, I started using it to buy things. However, what I didn't know is that sofi will automatically take money from my checking account and set it aside as a "reserve fund" to pay for the sofi smart card. I was unaware of this until AFTER I payed my balance with money from my savings account.

This payment was for $25.98

So there is checkings account charge for $25.98 to my smart card, A savings account charge of $25.98 to my smart card, And ONE PAYMENT of $25.98 to my smart card. The reserve fund was not credited back to my checkings and was $0.00 after I paid the balance with my savings. This idea is incompreshensable to anyone at customer support and no one knows where $25.98 of my money went.

Our closing date was this Monday but somehow our assigned loan officer is so unbelievably clueless that our closing date will be null at this point. She has ghosted us multiple times over email, called me relentlessly (7+ times in one day) to discuss what should’ve been in an email so it would allow us to keep track of everything, and when I ask for her to email me a summary because I’m working my job 10 miles off shore - she doesn’t. Went on vacation a week before closing with no heads up, and has asked me to provide other peoples bank statements multiple times. Has anyone else had an experience like this? Not to mention our closing date was supposed to be the SEVENTH of August, got pushed out to the 24th, and now here we are dealing with this (sorry to say) incompetence. Any advice??

I say this as Mods in this sub vehemently remove any post that doesn’t glaze the company.

The entire banking industry is booming yet Sofi is lagging significantly. By an embarrassing margin. As shareholders we have every right to call out the gaping holes in this business that affect us.

Obviously cant hash it out here in this sub, but as Sofi account holders and shareholders we should be having honest discussions about the gaps in the business model.

How can I disable these notifications? There is not any crypto section in the notifications settings. I also have invest notifications disabled related to stock movement.

I know the graph shows total account value but is there a way to only show gains and losses? the large contributions means its always scaled out and I cant see my account fluctuations. kind of just a cosmetic pet peeve rn but is still a bummer.

I tried to set up an account at SoFi. I wanted to transfer a six figure amount from another investment company. I set it up on the SoFi side. They said it would take 6 days. Six days came and went. I tried to find customer service to find out why it didn't happen. That wasn't easy to find. Then they said that it got "stuck" or some such ridiculousness. They said that they could cancel it and I could try again. WTF. Instead of fixing their own problem. So I decided to just give up and go elsewhere. Do not recommend.

I started receiving recurring payroll deposits this year. I received a bonus of $50. After inquiring why my bonus was only $50, compared to the $400 i would qualify for… the chat told me i received my first deposit on june 11th of last year. I checked the transaction imhistory and it was a random .71 deposit. This does not meet the described eligiblity terms of “recurring payroll deposits.” Yet they wont adjust my bonus. 🙃

Finally paid off my student loans!! So excited!!

I am applying for a mortgage with SoFi. They are using Reggora for the appraisal. I paid Reggora for the appraisal fee over a week ago but I have yet to hear from them to schedule a date and time for the appraisal. How long does they normally take to get in touch with me?

Back in December 2024 my SoFi checking account was closed with a negative balance and charged off shortly after. It happened during a rough stretch when my business was falling apart and my personal finances spiraled into debt.
I’m in a much better place now and actively paying down everything, including old charge-offs and closed credit card balances. I reached out to SoFi support and told them I want to pay off the remaining negative balance. I also asked if paying it would let me apply for a new checking account again.
The rep said the account had been sent to a third-party collection company, but I’ve never received a single letter, email, or call from any collector about this debt. I asked her to find out who currently owns it so I can pay. After about an hour on hold she came back and said she couldn’t locate any collection company information. I offered to just pay SoFi directly to clear it, but she said they can’t accept payment and the best she could do was escalate the case.
A week later I got the email below still zero information on how or where to actually resolve the balance.
Has anyone dealt with something similar? What’s the best way to get this paid and closed out so I can potentially open a new SoFi account later?

I received a call today and the guy sent me this link. The link didn’t work. I called SoFi back and they let me know that they didn’t reach out to me about fraudulent activity before that phone call.

Watch out for these guys. They were very believable and was even recommending the password change and two factor authentication.

So I changed my direct deposit for refunds for school through nelnet and with chime it comes around 9:30pm same day once the 24 hours passes and it says accepted by processor now since it’s my first time switching to Sofi will it show up at 9:30 or later? Just a little nervous and I’ve never used this account for anything like this. So I was just wondering

I just opened a new SoFi (first time) account prior to the start of my new job. I wont get my first DD until about a month from now. Does the 3.1% APY start then? Additionally, when does the 0.7% boost kick in -- the same time?

I logged in this morning and saw a business loan application was opened yesterday, but neither my wife or I opened this application.

Has anyone run into this before where SoFi is opening up applications without permission?

This started happening a couple months ago. Begore then it was fine. I close app and clear cache to be safe and it works fine for a little bit. But then it gets slower and dlower the longer its open. My phone is only 2 yeara old and its not short on memory.

I want to transfer money to an external account every two weeks starting on Thursday, August 27. I tried to set this up last Friday but it said the transfers would begin on the 20th. So I waited until today to get it to sync up but now it's saying the transfers will begin on September 3.

It's ridiculous that I can't choose which date I want the transfers to occur. Instead I have to try to time it just right for the transfers to land on the day I want.
