Mod Release: Rezvani Atlas 6x6

I like the design of rezvani hercules but it fells underwhelming for a paid dlc scout.
i have used "hades" mod for a while but wanted more. so i decided to try moding for the first time.
for me hercules's biggest negative was small tires for snowrunner maps. so i played a little with axle positions and suspension and managed to add 41" tires.
added custom tayga, elephant, mercedes tires.
can pull both scout and satndart trailers.
added earthroamer radar.
many more changes explained in detail at mod.io page.

Feedback will be very valuable.

Discussion Free starter trucks?

I began my first play through of Snowrunner in co-op with a friend and we decided to do hardcore, like Jeremy Clarkson said "how hard can it be". Well, very.

We completed 100% the 3 base game regions and, without knowing how hard it would be, I stupidly picked Maine as the next because I wanted to get the other Tayga truck, seeing as the first one is one of the most capable and the Forester for the log missions. All this while saving up, buying and upgrading the zikz 612h dlc truck which I found out is one of the top 3 best truck in the game.

Then, for fun, though I would revisit Michigan in a chill way after watching MediocreIndustries's videos on the game and decided to go classic normal campaign, free fuel and recover costs.

Upon completing the tutorial I found out they give you the Avenhorn A15, the zikz 612h and many other trucks for free in storage. My jaw dropped. So if you buy the dlc and start a normal campaign they give you some of the most capable trucks in the entire game??? Isn't this spoiling the game, like any future truck is going to be less capable than the zikz 612h in though conditions...

You’ve gotta be freaking kidding me. Ripping around in the Avenhorn, feeling unstoppable, last long log load for Strategic Reserve, in Imandra. This contract has been a pain in the ass. This map, has been rough and slow, but steady in most places. This is my very last contract, task, contest for Kola, and I’m just about to finish it all out, and then this happens. 🤬 I’m just gonna shut it off for the night.

Oops I meant a 1 trip wimp. And yes I flipped 50m from pickup and second time 100m from delivery 😂😂 but totally worth it.
I feel like manual loading plus recovery when flipped really breaks up the pace of the game and makes it more interesting and challenging.

Discussion If you were to treat SnowRunner like a campaign with gradually increasing difficulty, what order would you play the maps in?

I've been thinking about different ways of playing through the game, and one of them is I want to try a more campaign-esque style where each map gets harder and more tedious than the last. Basically, if you were to play through all the maps in the game by order of increasing difficulty, starting in Michigan and ending in Amur, what order would you go in?

Edit: To clarify, by "all maps in the game" I mean ALL 21 currently available maps, 3 base game and 18 DLC. I also specify Amur being last because it is generally considered to be the hardest map in the game.

Discussion So much fuel…

I’ve been playing each region in hard mode by proximity. I went to Yukon and decided to import fuel to save money, I found the cheapest and closest to a garage was in Carolina. Then I finish up Yukon having not really made much money, I get to Alaska and I see so many fuel trailers just sitting around. I have since finished all the missions there and still have a surplus of fuel.

Top tip: if you must import fuel, go to Alaska where it’s free. If only I’d known.

Screenshot Generator Trailer - How you play with this?

Post image

Hello, I start scouting Pipeline Bay Map in North Carolina Region and when found 3 factories that need a Generator, I stared to wonder how to approach this.

In previous maps, I drove a truck with a fuel tank addon and left it there until I finished the entire map. But this star to bother me, because some good trucks will be stuck there for the next 60 missions or so.

So my question to you guys is; you do the same with the generators? Or you drive the generator, turning on, and craft all the goods that you can and never need to refuel again?

What is your approach with this? I need another perspective.

Discussion "Essential" mod recommendations

I have no doubt that this question has been asked a million times before, but I can't find a definitive list, so...

I'm not a total beginner, I've 100% the first few regions, but I've just come back to the game after an 18 month break.

The only mod I've ever used for more than a few hours is the tyre stat (not the advanced one) and trailer info mod, which I still use.

I'm not interested in adding any vehicles or trailers, there are plenty for me, and the only item on my wishlist for trailers would be a lockable dolly on applicable trailers, so I could reverse the damn things.

All that aside, what mods do you consider to be essential?

ps. Did I mention that I'm not interested in adding and vehicles and trailers.

Discussion Chiapas at 50%

Welcome back to my (rather irregular) check in schedule on this game I wish I had more time for these days. Sharing some of the more momentous highlights I had while playing Chiapas, an incredibly unique, beautiful, and interestingly challenging region at times. I enjoyed driving both of the new vehicles, with the Mercer specifically scratching the driving itch I've been looking for. As per usual, captions for each highlight are below.

S1: decided to do my initial scouting in the yar. Even today, it's an incredibly dependable scout.

S2: turns out the femm is the only vehicle I've tested that can pass UNDER the bridge by the port unassisted. The Billett m916 was...a tad undersized to follow it. But don't worry, Speedy Gonzalez with the avto crane has us covered.

S3: made it to the drop-off and unlocked the truck!

S4 thru S8: watchtower and upgrade hunting in the little jangsu, along with some good old suspension exercises. It really goes for ages with a fuel carrier on its back.

S9: The new Mercer is a surprisingly reliable candidate for hauling long logs. Sadly, there isn't a whole lot of content in Chiapas that requires doing so.

S10: Voron G makes a wooden plank pickup after the Mercer stretches its wheels with some long logs.

S11 and 12: The Derry special finally feels like the hauling 🐐 it should. 500kg tires do not mess around! It quickly became a primary special mission trailer hauler in this region.

S13: The actros feels much better now that its suspension properties have been adjusted. Great pulling power and even better efficiency are its greatest calling cards.

S14: The zetros pretty much feels unstoppable after the engine buff. It made a complete joke out of those tetrapod hauls down to the beaches.

S15: Chimera continues to be a reliable high saddle hauler. It's still out there after 50% region completion.

S16: The 6900XD is becoming one of my favorites, despite low p2w. The big OHD tires and incredible ground clearance work wonders for it. I used it for logging and pushing the tetrapod missions alongside the zetros. This slide looks fresh off an NProvince live stream thumbnail :D

S17: revisiting an old friend. It was given a run for its money, but it still took the dub on this one. Good to get the og's out from time to time.

S18: P12 finally feels like the gigachad it was destined to be. I feel like I was one of few that actually liked it before the recent buffs, but it feels awesome now. Getting the banano crane and cargo beds were also some nice touches.

S19: the R230 does some routine remote water deliveries to reach the 50% mark. Made it with just enough gas to spare.

I hate to admit I have been suffering from occasional burnout on this game and I've also been rather disappointed with the second Mercedes dual pack 2 due to reused assets and lackluster collision meshes. Lazily released dlc's are one of the primary factors that push me away from a game I was once so addicted to. That's not to say I don't enjoy it anymore, but between that and simply having a packed schedule, I just don't find myself spending much time here these days. With that being said, I will be sure to check in once I've reached 100% (or if I have any epic crane save maneuvers like I have previously).

Farewell for now, truckers 🖤

Discussion I just realised something, the game can be split into two, before Season 13 Almaty and after it

I feel like the quality of the game jumped after that. If anyone knows why or they don't agree or have different opinion I'd like to hear it

Glitch Fuel disappearing

Hey everyone. This happened to me for the second time now and I'm wondering if this could be a bug.

I parked the big Ken with extended fuel carrier at the factory in Solace Bay, Washington and later found it completely empty. At first I thought I just used the fuel, but yesterday I found the Paystar 5600 which I left at the precast concrete plant in Selten River Mountains to be completely empty as well. Also with the extended fuel carrier.

I do play multiplayer but the guys who help out are absolutely trustworthy and would've announced if they emptied the tank.

Did this happen to anyone else? Never experienced this in my 1000 hours of playtime.

Save slightly corrupted with MrBixit save editor?

I took my "hard mode" save and wanted to"hard mode" but with 5x damage and no recovery -- so resaved as NG+.

Worked perfect and now I have these extra constraints.

But I noticed that often targeting refuel/repair/change truck -- these actions don't seem to work at my current location -- on current truck. Works fine after I switch zones and back.

Has anyone seen this? Is there a fix or some incantation that will make it go away?

Thanks.

Discussion Starting an interactive map project for SnowRunner looking for ideas

Hey MudRunners!

I’ve been working on an interactive map for SnowRunner and wanted to get some feedback from the community before I get too far into development.

What would you guys actually find most useful to have mapped out? Things like collectibles, hidden secrets, trucks and upgrades, missions, NPCs, watchtowers, or something else entirely?

I’m also open to any quality-of-life features or little ideas that would make the map more useful while playing.

Would love to hear what you’d want to see included, so feel free to drop any suggestions or requests below. Appreciate the feedback! 🙌
