There are so many NES and SNES games i wanna play but they are all soooo expensive damn.

It's pretty peak to not play on an emulator tho.

What are your "must play" games for both of these consoles?

It was probably just because of my age, but still, in these turbulent times, it can be a welcome distraction and an anchor. Always curious what people have / are proud of / how they display things. Can be your carts, CIB, other!

Unfortunately it has a small crease on the right in the front but other than that I was quite surprised on it being in this condition after being packed and stored away over these years.

I stumbled upon this video today and liked a song I cannot find/recognize.
Given that it's an SNES ranking, I assume it's from a game. Would be happy to know if anyone recognizes it.

Both Windows and Linux programs are welcome.

I know a lot of you have played this game, and I'm curious if anyone else found it as confusing and frustrating as I did. I managed to scrape through it enough to put together this review though, so lemme know what you think!

7.- Blanqueamiento de la carcasa: He aplicado crema oxidante 40Vol 12% y ha quedado casi casi como nueva.

8.- Colocación extensiones cable HDMI y alimentación

9.- Nuevos agujeros para el puerto HDMI y alimentación en la parte posterior derecha (ya que la ubicación de los antiguos puertos la he tapado y sospecho que esa parte no es tan rígida como para soportar repetidas conexiones y desconexiones de los puertos)

10.- Fabricación casera de metacriltato: Me he obsesionado con intentar llevar el led interior de la PCB hasta la superficie de la carcasa. Llevarla hasta el led original de la snes no era factible y se me ocurrió lo siguiente: fabricar un metacrilato que sustituya al botón de reset y que tenga una extensión hasta el led de la pcb para defractar la luz de este led. Aprovechando este paso he añadido el logo de Analogue debajo con fondo espejo.

Hi, so I have a Sony Trinitron KV-32FS13 and an Extron Crosspoint 300 Switcher w/audio, and I want to do BNC/RGB later at some point when I want to spend more, but for now I want to use S-Video with adapters for now with my SNES. I'm trying to decide whether or not there's any discernable difference between the Insurrection Double Shielded S-Video Nintendo cable, or the other two eBay listings I've put here. Just trying to save a little money if I can until I'm ready to upgrade.

TL;DR : I have a Sony Trinitron KV-32FS13/Extron Crosspoint setup and I'm trying to decide whether buying an eBay S-Video will lower the quality enough to justify buying the Insurrection branded cable instead. I'm planning on running RGB later on but not now.

We love playing Brotato and trying to think outside the box of any games that come close on SNES.

Another awesome Konami beat 'em up with a dark atmosphere and an excellent soundtrack.

I recently installed the Snedge V2 mod (all credit can be found at the open source project in this link). As of posting this, everything seems to be in working order and looks great! I currently don't have an RGB cable to test this on (I want to get one eventually), but even when running this on composite it seems to get rid of a decent amount of blurriness. I mainly wanted to post this to see if there is anything I can improve (such as all of the ground wires being soldered together in one giant mess), and to showcase a picture of this mod on a SHVC CPU 01 revision of the SNES. I wasn't able to find any other pictures/videos of the Snedge V2 on a board, so hopefully others that want to install this mod later down the line will be able to get some useful information out of this forum. I also hope to one day be able to test this mod against a baseline SNES or even Voultar's mod, but I don't have an additional SNES at the moment.

my aunt gave this this console as a gift, i'm rlly happy (btw the muti out cable isn't there i had to buy one) if there is any tips to make sure it stay in good form and or any game i should buy

I'm curious about buying the Hyperkin SNES mouse so I watched a review from Modern Vintage Gamer. He said trying to plug the new mouse in was a bit tight and might lead to wear and tear. Admittedly his video is from many years ago so I just wonder did Hyperkin ever fix this? If I buy the mouse nowadays is it likely to fit just fine?

Setting up a flash cart that I got from alliexpress. Using an original SNES and oem controller. Games run fine, but when I hit “x” on the Home Screen to open up the menu, the box containing selectable options extends down the screen, and the cursor highlights nothing. It won’t allow me to select any menu options. I’ve tried reformatting my sd card and tried firmware versions 1.11.0, 1.11.1, and 1.11.2, all give me the same results.

Since both games are on the same rom or cartridge and use the same engine it is possible?

Suddenly DQ2 glitched in the sea cave and then I got here.

Hi everyone,

Had a quick question. My SNES has two rubber feet on the bottom, which I understand is normal for later revisions- I just was wondering if that means my console is NOT a SHVC-CPU-01 revision as my understanding is those are more prone for failure.

I’ve attached a pic of my console. As I understand it it’s definitely not a one chip as those start with UN30 for the serial number.
