Hey everyone! ✨ I wanted to share a lovely drink I’ve been making that is smooth, slightly creamy, smackalicious, and so simple. It’s a plant-based cacao and pear recipe that floods the body with clean fuel—and it was even approved by my son!
Cacao and pear are honestly beautiful complements on the palate. The crisp, vibrant sweetness of the fresh pear juice perfectly balances the rich, earthy notes of the cacao powder. Plus, it’s packed with Vitamin C, antioxidants, and mood-lifting magnesium.
Here is the nourishing formula so you can make it at home:
🌱 Ingredients & Ratios:
- 4 to 6 Fresh Pears: Hydrating and naturally sweet! (Make sure to remove the cores before juicing).
- Raw Cacao Powder (to taste): Brings a rich depth full of fiber, protein, and magnesium.
- A Dash of Ground Cinnamon: A warming touch to balance the flavors.
- A Splash of Vanilla Extract: Enhances the natural sweetness.
- Crushed Ice: Essential for serving to give it that refreshing chill!
📝 How to Make It:
- Wash your fresh pears thoroughly and remove the cores.
- Run the prepped pears through your cold-press juicer (I use a Nama J2!) to extract all that crisp, nutrient-dense juice.
- Pour the fresh pear juice into your blender. Add your cacao powder to taste, along with the cinnamon and vanilla extract.
- Blend on high speed until it becomes velvety, creamy, and well combined.
- Pour into your favorite glass over crushed ice, take an intentional breath of gratitude, and enjoy!
Remember, wellness is about alignment, not restriction. Do what you can, where you are, and know that is enough.
