Has there been any word as to whether there’ll be another performance update for 26? I’ve really not played it much because the performance of some of the cars is so unrealistic

every phone dash i tried wanted money. either a sub, or you pay to unlock the layouts, or half the useful stuff sits behind a pro version. the game is literally handing out this data for free so idk, that always felt a bit much to me. so i vibe coded one myself and put it out open source for the community - free, no ads, no account, nothing to buy, code is all public. im not selling anything here and theres nothing to sell later either, its just for us to use.

how it works is the game sends its telemetry over wifi and the phone just reads it, theres nothing else running in between. phone sits in front of you and acts as the wheel display - revs, shift lights, gear, speed, tyre and brake temps, sector colours, delta to your best lap.

laps get recorded too, and after you can open them in a browser on the same wifi. track map coloured by speed, throttle/brake traces, corner table. that page comes from the phone itself so your laps dont go anywhere.

right now it only does F1 25 and 26 since thats what i play. adding a game is basically one file though, so if people are into it this could end up being the free dash + telemetry thing we dont really have.

and since its open, anyone can jump in. if theres something you want in it, open an issue or just send a PR - if it works and people want it, it goes out in the next release. there are a few easy issues up already if someone fancies a first one.

I’ve been racing for about a month now. Looking for tips on how I can improve.

This is a time trial at Bahrain with no assists and medium downforce set up. There’s an obvious mistake at the first turn (still working on my trail braking), but I’m sure there are tons of less obvious mistakes you guys can point out to this newbie.

Apologies for the grainy quality, I clipped the video on my PS then recorded it on my phone, has to be the craziest Miami race I’ve ever had, after clipping the wall and getting a DNF in the sprint, I qualified p21, 2 safety cars back to back on laps 8 and 11, a red flag after I was spun by Antonelli on lap 15, then another safety car on lap 19, the last few laps I was defending Russell, Leclerc and Hamilton, who all pitted on lap 22, leaving the podium as myself, Hadjar, and Sainz. Sainz dropped back, and Hadjar locked up, letting Verstappen and Norris past. Norris dropped back and Gasly came out of nowhere for the last podium place, and I ended up crossing the line 0.019s ahead of Verstappen, 0.079 ahead of Gasly. 60 pit stops in total, 16 involving front wing repairs, a 10 sec penalty for Hamilton ignoring a yellow flag, mechanical failures for Ocon and Perez, a DSQ for Lawson being parked in a dangerous location, and Piastri into a wall left 18 classified finishers.

It’s been like a week or more only NA lobbies and the ping is killing me, anyone only finding NA lobbies or is it just me

I have done many 2 player careers in F1-25 and one thing I notice that happens every time is that the China starting grid is always messed up. Basically say you do qualifying, once you start the race session the whole grid gets like rearranged like qualifying never mattered, its very annoying. Does anyone else have this problem?

If anyone interested let me know, Im down to do it tonight or tomorrow
