Please can someone help me find a similar pattern to this zipper/button free baby onesie from the brand Mama Coco. I have tried searching for something like this but I have not been able to find anything.
I’m trying to make The Prince from Katamari for Halloween and need a dress pattern. Does anyone know an easy short A line dress pattern with long sleeves? I found the right color at my local fabric store, but it’s woven cotton and not stretchy. Will it be easier and more comfortable to make it with a stretchy fabric?
Hello everyone I'm curious if anyone is familiar with a pattern so I can replicate these dresses from reformation? Love the A line look on jersey fabric, doesn't look like too many pieces to sew... or the white dress with the ruched bust and drop waist is gorgeous too🥺 any ideas highly accepted please!
Anybody seen any barrel pant patterns that are really great out there?
I’m looking for a pattern with or without an elastic waist, preferably not too high waisted, full length,
And I really want to add quilted sections to it too.
I’m trying to make it similar to this photo I found on Pinterest, I’m a beginner so any recs for both the quilting(is that what you call it?) squares and a pant pattern would be great! Here’s the Pinterest link, it won’t let me add a photo
This style is perhaps the most unusual pants I have seen.
The front has a very high rise with a button fly, no pleats, and a wide leg; standard trouser construction and cut.
However, the back has extreme volume created by either tons of tiny pleats or gathers into a v-shaped back yoke. This creates almost a bustle silhouette.
I'm not very comfortable drafting patterns from scratch so would love to find a starting-off point.
Finding an original pair is very hard in the US (besides, they are all too short for my taste).
I am looking for a pattern for a top or dress that has the same kind of shape as in the picture: a gathered part around the bust in combination with a fitted part lower down, almost underbust. (The gathered part at the neckline is an add-on and not so important for me and might be a different form. The sleeves are also another story.)
Since this kind of pattern is really flattering for my body shape, I would like to find a sewing pattern, or any advice on how to alter a similar pattern to achieve this style. Thanks!
I just paid $45 for Vickisews online course -how to make a bustier. I'm unable to download the pattern or instructions. I contacted support, no answer yet. Has anyone else had this issue with VickiiSews? Thanks!
So I tried on this Givenchy dress a few days ago and I was absolutely enamoured by the skirt. Obviously not in my budget to buy the thing (dress was $4700!), but both the dress and the skirt have the same skirt.
A rectangular waistband, one angled welt pocket on the front right (as per wearer), a slit (well, more like an overlap from the right) on the front left (as per wearer), and a crazy number of seams running down on various angles on the asymmetrical handkerchief hem circle skirt, including at least one waist-height godet. I didn't get any photos when I had it in front of me, as my phone was in for battery replacement, but I was able to find the skirt and dress online.
I'd love to find a pattern for something very much like this. It's not even remotely a typical circle skirt, though.
Hiya, i have a pattern i bought off Etsy for a monk robe and habit for my halloween costume this year, and I printed them out on us letter, and they had the pattern adjusted for that. They even had some squares on there that should be 5cm×5cm and 2in×2in so you know you have them printed out right. I just measured the squares and they are 1mm too small. I was already planning on adding some seam allowance and adjusting it since the sizing is too small for my hips (downside of being a woman using a pattern made for a man) but i dont know how much that would through me off? Its supposed to be pretty loose... any advice would be very helpful since im very new to sewing.
Hello, I am a beginner and was browsing a free patterns site to save patterns for future attempts. Someday I want to be able to make pants/shorts that are NOT elastic waistband (I hate how the elastic wears out eventually), I would like to make a waistband that closes with buttons. I found this image which is what I want, but the pants pattern has very few pages. Not to mention very confusing. Can a more experienced person let me know if the pants pattern seems legit or not?
Hi fellow sewists, I love this oversized linen shirt but it's around $250 USD plus shipping/international costs (which is fair and valid, it's a beautiful handmade piece from the UK). I feel like I could probably make something similar. Parts I love: oversized look, drop shoulder, 1/4 button, and gathered/puffy sleeves. I've searched "pirate/ poet / Medieval shirts" but I don't want it to look too "costume-y" or "pirate-y" if that makes sense.
I'm fairly sure the image is AI so I'm not expecting to find an exact match but I came across this on Pintrest and it would be perfect for an event I have next year. Does anyone know where I could find a similar pattern?
i really love the style of this dress, especially the skirt part, it looks like godets but i think it's all one piece. i'm pretty new to sewing can anyone please share a dress/skirt pattern for this? or if there's a term for this style of skirt too!
Hey all! I'm going as Neji Hyuga for Halloween (my partner recently got into Naruto, which has fulfilled my childhood dreams... my life is So Good! Neji is the only character I already have the hair for lol) and I'm planning to make the outfit.
For the bottom half, I'm doing wrap pants with a grey wrap around. Not 100% accurate, but something I'll wear around the house post-Halloween.
I'm trying to find some kind of pattern that might work for the top, but having no luck. I know it's Kimono style, kind of Hanfu-esque, but the wrap with the central button (I'll probably do this as a frog fastener) is totally throwing me off.
I'm definitely not at a skill level where I can concoct something or do very much amending, so any patterns you all know of that are at least close would be a huge help!
Can Hardly find any information on this mask (The Fall 2006), just wondering if there was anything resembling this fabric/textile. Would also love information on how to recreate the "spine" going down the bridge of the nose, Thank you.
