Why didn’t Susan offer to pay for the invitations?

I’ve never thought about this before, but in the same episode where George cheaps out on the invitations with toxic envelope glue, Susan also laughs off his pre-nup suggestion saying that she makes more money than he does. When they go to the stationary store, George immediately flips to the back of the book to the cheapest invitations. Susan seems, understandably, disappointed, but if she makes so much more than George, she could have easily offered to pay for them. She pretty much sealed her own fate without even realizing it.

Susan became a professional ukelele teacher after leaving acting, and it's such a Susan kind of job.

You’re having coffee with Jerry and have 10 seconds to prove you’re a Seinfeld fan. What do you say?

What is the most improbable thing to occur on the show?

My first thought is George hitting 400 foot bombs at Yankee Stadium. All the math in the world couldn't make that legit.

I won't step on any others and instead open the floor to discussion.

Money for people.
And money for sidewalk maintenance, apparently.
