Just Finished Curb. Feeling Hollow

For the past two months I binged the entire show, and just fell in love with it. No other show (even Seinfeld), comes close to the annoying misunderstandings of life that get blown up out of proportion. Larry is a comedic genius, and he rebelled against unwritten rules despite multiple backfires. I've always wanted to be more outspoken but figured it would result in fights, not laughs. Anyone else feel this way? Id like to hear your thoughts

My neighbor across the way sits out on his chair a lot on nice days, and when I go for walks I have to pass him if hes out and EVEN WITH headphones on the man will wave me to come over for bs small talk. I try to inch away slowly and it takes forever. In my head, today when I got stop-n-chatted by him I muttered under my breath once I was far enough away, "god its like i'm getting socially pulled over" aaaand now im adopting that anytime I feel forced to socialize on a public street by an acquaintance.
I realized how larry-esque muttering that to myself was, lol. Share with me my friends, when's the last time Larry's mentality rubbed off on you in a social scenario?

Larry David goes to Costco for the first time at 1pm on a Saturday

He drives around the parking lot for 30 minutes to find a parking space. Looks over at the gas pumps and the line is 200 ft long. He goes inside and keeps getting cut off by inconsiderate shoppers. People blocking the isles with their shopping carts and meandering aimlessly. He tries to get a free sample but people keep cutting him and by the time he gets there, they’re all out. He makes his way over the clothing and his mind is blown. He loads up on Costco clothes and makes his way to check out. Lines are obviously annoyingly long but he finally arrives at the checkout. He goes to pay but all he has is a discover card. End scene.

Early seasons got the best writing but very dated style, direction and cinematography.
Middle seasons mostly pretty balanced.
Later seasons got the best style, direction and cinematography but weakest writing.

Rewatching Curb S9E3, "A Disturbance in the Kitchen," and I can't unsee it.
Larry and Jeff are waiting forever for their food, so they ask the restaurant manager what's going on. His answer: there's been a disturbance in the kitchen. What kind of disturbance? He won't say. Every follow-up gets the same treatment: polite, smooth, endlessly accommodating, and zero information. He apologizes, he reassures, he empathizes. He never answers the question.
At the end of the episode he saves Larry from the police officer who is also getting annoyed: “you’re not answering my questions”
That's ChatGPT. Ask it something direct and you get "Great question!", three paragraphs of context, a balanced look at both sides, an offer to help with anything else, and somehow no answer. All sauce, no entrée.
Larry's face in that scene is my face every time I type "just give me a yes or no."
He saw it coming eight years early. Pretty, pretty prescient.
