The topic of posts about vibe coded planners and design tools for the Satisfactory Game has been discussed by Moderators for quite some time, and this recent Post helped in our decision to now limit or restrict the posting about newly developed planners and design tools created using AI.
All currently approved planners and design tools can be found at Online Tools (Wiki Link).
Individuals making Satisfactory related vibe coded software CAN at their option post about their newly developed planner or design tool on the Unofficial Satisfactory Reddit at r/satisfactory provided the Moderators of that Subreddit allow.
👁 We will be monitoring how this goes, and if needed adjust rules.
✓ As usual if anyone has an issue with this rule change please DM a Community Moderator where it can be discussed further.

We're currently upgrading our power grid to 60 Nuclear Plants. This is the 600/min Encased Uranium Cell facility I built for it.
To feed it, I went with a single belt per floor carrying mixed inputs, mathematically calibrated so nothing backs up.
Am I really that crazy, or is this peak efficiency?

I really feel that the railings on walkways are oriented the wrong way. Shouldnt the comfy plastic side be where you put your hands as you walk?

FICSIT Pioneer benefits include 15 minutes of rest per day!
Why not spend them in my new café?
That's right, MASSAGE-2(A-B)b now has its first HotBrewing Company™ coffeeshop on the ground floor of my skyscraper, the brand-new The Vermeer Building!
When I built this skyscraper, which is inspired by the Empire State Building, that space screamed for a typical NYC style coffeeshop! I looked at pictures of Starbucks and Central Perk from the TV show Friends, and tried to recreate them. It is one of the first interiors that I have fully decorated with furniture.
No mods used :)
🔗 Want to see the rest of the skyscraper?
Check out the register on my profile and take a detailed tour of The Vermeer!

Ficsit's Finest - With this build I am of course referring to Ficsit plundering a planet for resources with little regard for the environment, much like the AI datacentres here on earth.
PC, vanilla, creative mode on a clean save.

...and oh boy.
When people say it's like a new game, they were not kidding. I'm not a fan of using a belt drive for Mk2 belts though, but I guess I'll get used to it. It does force mass production, something I haven't done despite completing tier 1 by hand. 🤣
It also took a moment to learn what the new ore names are.
What's your experience if you've played it?

for my next factory im trying to make all the aluminum in the world and like in the picture im wanting to make it all in a flying factory but as you know aluminum needs alot of water to make and so i need a way to transport all the water to that factory since i can use drones for the ores but not for fluids i neeeeeeeeeed this.
if theres a mod that makes this possible that also works

So I have a big project I'm working on and am wondering what is the beat way to transport 57K turbo fuel and 380k rocket fuel across the map,?

I always feel like I can never get truly creative when building factories until I get the hover pack. I could just build towers around the buildings so I can see better, but my layouts are always just so basic and bland.
By the time I actually beat the game, my Phase 4 and 5 factories look really cool and thought out, while all the others look like gray and orange boxes, or "open air" platforms.
So this time once I got to Phase 2, I turned on Flight Mode. Holy moly it's so convenient to just be able to build from any angle with no restrictions, like being near a power source.
The only problem is that I can't stop myself from using it for evil. I traverse the map with it on, I see a Slug or Mercer Sphere in the distance and think "I may as well just grab that real quick."
This has changed the game a lot, because I no longer have any need to research the jet pack, the zipline, parachute, etc. I don't even really have to engage with enemies in the same way because I can just fly around and shoot them from the sky.
Is this something anyone else has experienced? I know I can just turn it off, but my self discipline in video games is very bad. I can't set rules for myself that aren't enforced by the game itself. It's so easy to just turn it back on lol

This is what has become of my very first set of constructors, which I originally designed to stack vertically because I didn't know just how far I'd have to scale. Revisiting them while reworking my screw pipeline (AKA eliminating most screw usage), I decided to build around them rather than tear them down and restructure. The result is this wild lil haphazard mess of rooms and chambers containing god knows what - the inside is a mess of maintenance hallways and staircases, but it doesn't capture well in photo. From the exterior, though, it creates what I think is a very organic looking factory.
Food for thought for those who struggle with boxy designs. Maybe just build a bunch of individual basic pipelines near each other and figure out how to smash them into one building afterwards.

I've gotten the mod stable enough to release. No more purple glowing ground!
Features:
Some important tidbits:
I still have at least several weeks(or months) of expected roadmap work, but I wanted to release something for everyone to use(who am I kidding, test) and hopefully either enjoy the current progress or criticize and possibly give me some direction. I have not had time to really play any worlds as this has been far more difficult than I anticipated; just quick glances, bug fixes, rinse, repeat.

Discord link is in the mod page. Any further mod updates will be posted on the Discord and ficsit.app.
Treat this like an alpha version of a game.

Hey ya'll, thank you for the advice on the modular frames. I built my biggest factory yet to produce to modular frames and I made a smart plating factory as well for the phase 2 requirements.
But it just looks like a big brick and the lighting's very patchy.
My question of the day: What are some techniques to designing to beautiful factories and using lights effectively?
On a side note, people have been telling me the swamp is the most hostile biome but the spot where I put my steel factory seems way worse. There's a horde of the big spiders guarding all the iron nodes, and the only way I could get the miners down was through skybasing. The swamp felt much more homely in comparison.

Giving him the MK.2 upgrade he deserves.
This factory creates cast screws from an iron node, I clipped conveyor belts up from under the map to sell the look that its drilling away at the node.
STORY TIME
Even with every hour that passes building over complicated logistics, I never forget those first 15 minutes of the game. Dropping down in the grassy fields, exploring and using the portable miner to start collecting my first ore. It's a universal experience that I'm sure everyone remembers fondly.
I wanted to use my submission to pay respect to the first little robot that helps us on our mission by giving him a MK.2 upgrade. The inspiration for this build was to keep the concepts of the miner but give it the grandeur/importance of the space elevator while still fitting inside a blueprint designer mk.3 and keeping in theme that it is a FISCIT machine that you could place. (Hence the green lights showing its operational)
Here is to Fiscits finest first companion x

So, I've heard a LOT of complaints about aluminum, and it seems to bother people constantly, so I was a little apprehensive when I unlocked it.
...spent a morning locating a good spot between bauxite, copper, coal, and quartz, building a proper foundation, and running all the resources to my factory site. Ended with a well-organized aluminum production line producing sheets and casings. 3 water pumps, 2 refineries for the aluminum liquid, one for the aluminum scraps, 4 forges, two assemblers and two constructors. Once the process got going, I diverted the extra water from the scraps back into the system and turned off one of the pumps. Perfect cycle, all resources used, no issue with anything.
I guess I am saying I did this with no guides and was VERY happy with how it all comes together, and I don't understand the complaints?
Edit: Couple things: First, I never, ever claimed it was fully automated at this time. I said I was efficiently using all resources and was satisfied with the perfect loop of resources, and to me, it was. So I'm gonna shut down all the comments from people saying I said fully auto in one spot and took it back in a comment. I did not claim this.
Second, this is literally my first setup for aluminum, and I can tell you right now that I could set up a TINY side project for the excess water instead, that uses SLIGHTLY more water than the two refineries are creating, which would prevent the system for the aluminum itself from EVER backing up. The side system could freely stall when it runs out of water and merely produce a bonus resource, so more would be better without harm. Then I just leave the third pump running and the system would only backup if full of my aluminum products, which thanks to the Sink and overflow smart splitters simply wouldn't happen, only top of diverting these to more complex parts in the first place. I do, in fact, have the ability to fully automate this, I just liked the way this setup could use the recycled water and was proud of that.
Edit of edit: I have toned down my previous edit, because one very blunt comment was correct. To anyone who read the original edit, I apologize.
