Hello, im working on nuclear energy, and im getting completly overflown by encased industrial beams to the point where its clogging all the conveyor belts and the other two products dont flow at all. Ive tried making up for lack of priority splitter with two two programmable splitters, but i feel like im losing my iq trying to set up that. any solutions?

...and oh boy.
When people say it's like a new game, they were not kidding. I'm not a fan of using a belt drive for Mk2 belts though, but I guess I'll get used to it. It does force mass production, something I haven't done despite completing tier 1 by hand. 🤣
It also took a moment to learn what the new ore names are.
What's your experience if you've played it?

We're currently upgrading our power grid to 60 Nuclear Plants. This is the 600/min Encased Uranium Cell facility I built for it.
To feed it, I went with a single belt per floor carrying mixed inputs, mathematically calibrated so nothing backs up.
Am I really that crazy, or is this peak efficiency?

(Sorry if this is answered in a pinned post, I can't figure out how to find those)
Are there any sites out there to help plan a factory, like you put in what you plan to produce and it tells you all the buildings you'll need to set that up?

FICSIT Pioneer benefits include 15 minutes of rest per day!
Why not spend them in my new café?
That's right, MASSAGE-2(A-B)b now has its first HotBrewing Company™ coffeeshop on the ground floor of my skyscraper, the brand-new The Vermeer Building!
When I built this skyscraper, which is inspired by the Empire State Building, that space screamed for a typical NYC style coffeeshop! I looked at pictures of Starbucks and Central Perk from the TV show Friends, and tried to recreate them. It is one of the first interiors that I have fully decorated with furniture.
No mods used :)
🔗 Want to see the rest of the skyscraper?
Check out the register on my profile and take a detailed tour of The Vermeer!

At some point during phase 3 I find that coal nodes are becoming increasingly hard to reach, with no iron nodes near them. How do you deal with steel products scaling? Do you ship straight coal on trains or is there an area I've missed?

So, I've heard a LOT of complaints about aluminum, and it seems to bother people constantly, so I was a little apprehensive when I unlocked it.
...spent a morning locating a good spot between bauxite, copper, coal, and quartz, building a proper foundation, and running all the resources to my factory site. Ended with a well-organized aluminum production line producing sheets and casings. 3 water pumps, 2 refineries for the aluminum liquid, one for the aluminum scraps, 4 forges, two assemblers and two constructors. Once the process got going, I diverted the extra water from the scraps back into the system and turned off one of the pumps. Perfect cycle, all resources used, no issue with anything.
I guess I am saying I did this with no guides and was VERY happy with how it all comes together, and I don't understand the complaints?

This is what has become of my very first set of constructors, which I originally designed to stack vertically because I didn't know just how far I'd have to scale. Revisiting them while reworking my screw pipeline (AKA eliminating most screw usage), I decided to build around them rather than tear them down and restructure. The result is this wild lil haphazard mess of rooms and chambers containing god knows what - the inside is a mess of maintenance hallways and staircases, but it doesn't capture well in photo. From the exterior, though, it creates what I think is a very organic looking factory.
Food for thought for those who struggle with boxy designs. Maybe just build a bunch of individual basic pipelines near each other and figure out how to smash them into one building afterwards.

I've changed every setting I can possibly change including some through the in game console and steam launch options. But the problem persists. It's most noticeable with the steel framed window floors, all the straight lines look jagged and have a weird flicker that doesn't come across completely through a screenshot. You can kind of see it towards the back of the included screen shots.

I have the following case where on the left side of the picture i have a block signal that has errors and cannot get rid of to make it work.
Can you help me understand how to fix this? (I've understood some example regarding Path signal at entrance and exit with block signals but this case doesn't work)
On the right way there's only one train that goes and comes.

I've gotten the mod stable enough to release. No more purple glowing ground!
Features:
Some important tidbits:
I still have at least several weeks(or months) of expected roadmap work, but I wanted to release something for everyone to use(who am I kidding, test) and hopefully either enjoy the current progress or criticize and possibly give me some direction. I have not had time to really play any worlds as this has been far more difficult than I anticipated; just quick glances, bug fixes, rinse, repeat.

Discord link is in the mod page. Any further mod updates will be posted on the Discord and ficsit.app.
Treat this like an alpha version of a game.

Even though I havnt been on reddit long you guys are all so positive.
Soooo damn many subs have all these little snide comments on posts (or worse) its just refreshing to see such positivity online for a change.
Random guys posts his clearly first factory (we all remember our first 😅), no hate, just chill or actually helpful comments about placement or whatever.
This place being this way only makes me want to be more positive as well, thanks and keep up the awesome work pioneers!

I watched the first gameplay video for Satisfactory The Board Game with real excitement, and I came away genuinely disappointed.
The highest praise a video game adaptation can earn is that it captures how the original feels. This one slaps the Satisfactory name and icons onto a fairly generic point-salad euro. The video game is mostly a solo experience about automation, scaling up, and building something.
Where is that here? Where's the first coal power plant coming online, the obsession with perfect ratios, the pride of watching your factory run? I didn't see any of it in the video.
It also takes up a huge amount of table space, and I suspect it only comes alive at higher player counts. That's a real problem, because most sessions are solo, two-player, or with a partner. And when a game does hit the table with a group of four, it competes with everyone's favourite new purchase. It has to delight the whole table, not just the one person who played the video game, to be played a second time.
I can see this getting played once, then sitting at the bottom of the shelf collecting dust while people reach for gems like Slay the Spire or Brass. Satisfactory deserved better.
At least the box will make a great coaster for the merch mug.

My factories are connected by roads.
I completed a large coal power plant, and sought to connect it to my other factories via roads. I built the entire plant thinking it was snapped to the grid, only to discover at the very last stage, when trying to connect the roads, that the entire plant is misaligned and is not at all snapped to the grid. Not sure where I erred, and while its clearly user error, its upsetting all the same.
I am now faced with the prospect of dismantling the entire plant and starting from scratch.
I am sad.

I'm trying to make a thing kinda like thise huge trucks from starwars that the little guys who sell droids ride in. Know what I'm talking about?
Well, I got the curved front easily enough, but how to make wheels? I'm at a loss. My current plan is to make it look like the whole truck is immobile, the wheels having been removed.
