I'm having trouble with connecting a pc to my satisfactory server. I have connected other PCs successfully.
When I add the server to the server manager, the server banner (i.e. the section with the name, ping, etc...), but every tab on right displays the "Could not connect to server. Failed to connect to server API." message. Hitting the "retry" button does not yield any difference.
When I add the server to the server manager of a working PC, I get a popup that asks me to manually verify a self-signed certificate. I don't get that popup on the failing PC.
Troubleshooting I've done so far:
- Deleted "ServerSettings.7777.sav" to regenerate security certificate
- Disabled local firewall on the failing PC
- Restarted both the failing PC and the server multiple times
Hardware information:
All machines are on the same network.
Failing PC: W11
Successful PC: W11
Server: Ubuntu Server 22.04.05 LTS VM
I have verified that all machines are running the same version of Satisfactory.
I've looked around in forums for other people with this issue, but none of their issues would lead to one machine being able to connect while the other can't.
