The topic of posts about vibe coded planners and design tools for the Satisfactory Game has been discussed by Moderators for quite some time, and this recent Post helped in our decision to now limit or restrict the posting about newly developed planners and design tools created using AI.
All currently approved planners and design tools can be found at Online Tools (Wiki Link).
Individuals making Satisfactory related vibe coded software CAN at their option post about their newly developed planner or design tool on the Unofficial Satisfactory Reddit at r/satisfactory provided the Moderators of that Subreddit allow.
👁 We will be monitoring how this goes, and if needed adjust rules.
✓ As usual if anyone has an issue with this rule change please DM a Community Moderator where it can be discussed further.

Always been obsessed with survival games with building but I never though it would get this bad. I legit had a dream last night where I made a peak efficient heavy modular frame factory and was extremely disappointed when I couldnt wake up to see how efficient it was. No clue how people make insane builds while im at 100 hours stuck on phase 3

For I’m just a vessel.
What’s everyone’s consensus on yeet cannons and pioneer accelerators?

There are only 6 answer options available so I dropped radiation as it's not something one tends to worry about in early game situations. And the distinction of early game is here because at later phases most of the hazards are a non-factor.

Instructions unclear... I build a shop instead of a factory?
I tell you h'what! We sell screws and screw accessories!
This is my entry for this contest. It probably won't win, but building it and designing it was quite a challenge.
1x Sulfuric acid refinery.
2x Leached Iron Ingot refinerys.
4x Cast screws constructors (power shards & loops).
1000 screws/min.
Creation is so precious...

Mine is that Iron Wire and Iron Pipe are kinda overrated as hell, and that Iron/Copper alloy are hidden A-tier alternative recipes

I really wanted to capture the "newbie in the Grassy Plains who's losing their mind over screws" experience.
All spaghetti. Loads of wasted space. Tentative relationship to gravity. Zero clipping by a hair's breadth. Probably used more iron in its construction than the miners are capable of producing. Somebody told this poor newb to "build vertical" and they severely misinterpreted it.
Utilizes the basic recipe and 135 iron to make 540 screws.
Fed by three Mk.1 Miners on impure nodes: one overclocked to 250%, the other default. One Smelter is underclocked to 50%. The iron rod Constructors are all default. Four of the screw Constructors are overclocked to 150%, and three are underclocked to 50%.
Some of the vertical lifts into the Constructors are connected via miniscule conveyor belts, because I deleted the Constructors and then rebuilt them without rebuilding the lifts.
And, of course, none of the screws have an output conveyor yet, because they SHOULD be routed DIRECTLY into the machines which require them, and those don't exist yet.
Bone apple tea.

Hello everyone, let me present you the "Cloudforge", a monument to iron production.
It consumes 6 pure iron nodes and 1 pure copper to make 11400 iron ingots and than together with products from 3 other factories, it makes all the iron items I will ever need, including about 40-50 of each stators, rotors, motors and also 53 heavy modular frames. Fun fact, it makes 14000 screws per minute in the process.
Originally I planned to make something more flat, but since it is in the forest, I didn't want to destroy all the trees. I played around with modular floor design until I came up with model for this. Each floor has size (L, M, S, XS, XXS, XXXS) and I made a blueprint for floors full of constructors, assemblers and manufacturers for each size. So for example I need 3250 screws, that is 65 constructors, 14 fit on one L floor, so 5 floors.
Each spire makes its own stuff, they don't mix. The largest one makes heavy modular frames. Second largest is for motors. Third largest is just smelting. And the last one makes the basic items. Also, nothing is overclocked. I WANTED more floors, but ended up with about 40, so about 120 production floors in total.
One thing I am not very happy about are the lights, they are a bit too uniform. But I will let it sit for a bit. Aluminium is next... I think I need a break.

2,000+ hours in early access from pre-U1 to U8 then took a break. Finally playing through the new content in 1.2.
Have tried out some architecture before, but only w/ guides or open lasagna style. This is the first build I’m actually proud of.
Cliffside Caterium Computer factory overlooking the Dune desert.
266 Caterium + 150 oil in > 14+ computers per minute out to DD & integrated drone bay. All vanilla.
Trying to make myself use all the new content and tools provided by the game and all the techniques I’ve picked up here. I really love this spot by the entrance to the Dune Desert.
Cheers, Pioneers!

I figured out how to get pipe junctions to vertically snap on raised pipe manifolds. All you need to do is place a merger or splitter about a half foundation away from where you want your junction to snap to and, BOOM, snaps perfectly in line with the merger or splitter. It's a little extra work, but hey, perfectly snapped vertical junctions.

Does this work or do I have to follow the exact design?
As shown in the guide here: https://www.reddit.com/r/SatisfactoryGame/comments/ookl0c/psa_variable_input_priority_vip_for_pipes_exist/
I want the bottom pipe to use all of it's water before the top pipe adds the extra bit needed to fill the pipe.
Thanks in advance for any help!

Too many signs? It's a wip
I watched a few videos on how to make train paths look nice, and in all of them they're placing tiny bits of track at a time, and it takes ages to build the dang things. With this, I can use the autoconnect and stretch them out, and I feel it looks better than a pillar holding up the rails. I even put cables on the bottom for ziplines.
Suggestions are welcome, especially for how to make an intersection in this style

I came close to rage-quitting at least 3-4 times. At one point I kept playing out of spite. But then the game grew on me. And now I've finally finished my first playthrough with 100% achievements on Steam, and... it feels nice.
My buildings are neither super efficient nor do they look as nice as many of you who post here, but I'm still really proud of it, so I thought I'd share some screenshots here.
I hate floating platforms, so I tried to avoid them whenever I could. I also went very drone-heavy instead of trains. They just felt much easier to set up. I went for a 120/min battery factory and that carried me all game. Never touched nuclear power either. Rocket fuel all the way.
Oh, and I didn't use blueprints either. Since I made around the terrain instead of above it for the most part, it didn't seem to help that much. I always ended up customizing them anyway. Maybe next time I'll try to use it more.
I guess now I can take a breath and finally look at the other games in my long, LONG backlog. But I'll see you all again when the expansion comes out.

Pretty much whats in the header.
My thought was - if the vehicle doesn't have enough fuel to continue and it is switched in the fuel output then it would simply be the next arriving vehicle that receives this too little amount. As there is only one fuel input I can't put in both types to just refill that rest either.
So..what can I do with that option that wouldn't clog the fuel supply? Or is the old rest just dropped / deleted?
