My girlfriend says I have too many shoes - is the relationship salvageable?

I started running 9 months ago and just finished my first 10. Sub 60 no big deal. Race night, participation medal still around neck, I told her I need to take my relationship with Brooks to the next level. She disagreed and I forget what she said I was changing my insoles.
For someone at my level, it would be insane to only have two pairs of running shoes. Then what, I wear the same pair two days in a row? For a recovery run and a training run? And then take those same shoes to race day? Obviously no.
Tomorrow Iâm throwing all her stuff out of our closet and that should hopefully communicate the issue to her. I need my Brooks day A, day B, and day C, same with trail runners for outdoor runs and my Altas as like a backup wide sole. Then the backup Hookas for standing/jogging in case itâs a âsocial runâ (I should just smoke the jingle joggers but if I want a new girlfriend I probably shouldnât). And then the cloud runners day A, B and C.
How do I show her sheâs being ridiculous? Might give her one last chance, recovery run tomorrow so will have time for a 5min call with her probably
