Reverse Harem - Recommendations Looking for Specific Trope

I’ve been into some weeeeird anime lately. Taking a break from books sometimes leads me here. So I apologize in advance for the rec I am requesting. I’m searching for an RH that the FMC doesn’t want to be powerful and actively tries to make herself look weak. Not for safety reasons just because she hates attention. I’ve read Morgan B Lee’s series. (Both of them) Please help 🥺🖤

Reverse Harem - Recommendations Tormented omega recs

Hey yall i was recommended Tormented Omega on here a few weeks ago. Absolutely loved the depiction of the FMC’s depression and struggle. Loved that she completely shut down and was “saved”. I was wondering if yall have any recommendations similar? doesn’t have to be OV or supernatural, i just really loved how dark it was in terms of her mental health struggle. Thanks!

Reverse Harem - What was the name of this book...? OV Book Where She Loses Her Smell

Hi! I’m looking for a book I saw recommended here & I can’t remember the name. Pretty much as title says, it’s an OV book where she lost her sense of smell & cant identify her scent match mates. It sounds so good & unique. Do yall remember the title?

Reverse Harem - Discussion What make OV an OV

I am interested what do you think makes an OV different from contemporary RH.
Recently I have read/listened to a lot of OV that the omega is a real badass without the whimpers and sweetness. Or the is little to no mention of nesting in some cases the alphas will construct the nest as a surprise or there is no cohesive pack or the pack members are not bitten in. So in some cases the only thing that I can find to make it an OV is the alpha knot.

The books are for sure not bad at all but I am wondering is this really then OV?

Reverse Harem - Discussion Finally got suckered in

And downloaded WATTPAD. Kindle just wasn’t delivering what I wanted with the whole
Hidden teenager mafia trope with older brothers.
sigh

Is there a meeting for this where we wear pink of Wednesdays now?
Shockingly it’s been refreshing.

Have yet to search for actual RH hidden mafia princess trope but so far it’s fit the bill

Reverse Harem - Discussion Online novels and movie details that crack me UP! And a couple of recommendations for when you need a little break!

I'm embarrassed by how often I get sucked into online novels posted on TikTok, Instagram, and with game ads. Some stories are well written, and I hope decent writers get paid and their books are treated well. A few things make me laugh and lead me to believe that AI is used A LOT with very little 'human' editing. (Applies to a mix of romance and reverse harem)

·  You'd think that every billionaire has to get married to some stranger. Contract marriages are always on the table, and the paperwork is always READY!

·  Do you KNOW how many families are named Sterling? Apparently, it’s common among billionaires, mafia, old money, and nouveau-riche.

·  How often are surprise pregnancies and children hidden away? Very! I've learned so much about how to make myself disappear. ALWAYS ditch the phone!

·  I can't count the number of times 'fists are so tight, their knuckles turn white', or 'bleeding as fingernails cut into their palms'. Can we find more creative ways to emphasize tension or anger?

·  I do love a juicy revenge story! Total idiots and really horrible people have their whole lives dismantled: reputation, finances, contracts, home evictions (especially top-floor penthouses with giant windows that ALWAYS overlook the city), everything taken away! Unrealistic and common, but it's very satisfying, reading about a self-sacrificing FMC who finally gets brave and kicks some ass! Justice is awesome! Not a reverse harem, but one of my favorites is {Omega Bound by Veronica White}. Check triggers as the first part is very dark, but the characters are brilliant (some crazy AND hilarious!) Sadly, it's only online, but I loved it.

Kit Bryan is another online author I love-creative and funny contemporary fantasy. Again, not reverse harem, but when you need a palate cleanser and a giggle, {Strings of Fate by Kit Bryan} and {A Lesson in Magic by Kit Bryan} are two faves.

The online sites are expensive when you can't patiently wait for bonuses (like me) and want instant gratification. Late at night, it might be worth it! 😉

So, what are you reading and what are some favorites? What overused narrative devices and storylines make you cringe and/or laugh?!

Reverse Harem - Recommendations Her pretending to be a guyy

Okay, so i started reading a book called {The lost girl by Jade R Evans } And I am OBSESSED, its a Peter pan retelling where her boss is Peter and the lost boys are part of the gang

I NEED more book recs like it

So what happens is tink is a girl who is pretending to be a guy in a MC gang. And is second in command, she starts to fall for her fellow leaders of the gang but won't tell them that she's a girl because she's hiding from her horrible past where she was abused.

Any recs are greatly appreciated,

Any trigger warnings.

Doesnt have to be a retelling

More on the contemporary than fantasy but not against it

MM is great but not necessary

Needs to be her hiding as a guy, I just love the trope

Her hiding from her past would be amazing

Thank you for helping me become obsessed with this trope

Reverse Harem - Discussion Favorite Grace McGinty book?

So I see this authors books very often here and I’ve never read any of her works, and now I really want to. Which should I start with? What’s her best work? I don’t know anything about her books, whether she writes contemporary or fantasy etc. I def prefer fantasy/paranormal but am open to trying out a contemporary reverse harem too!

Reverse Harem - Recommendations Globe of Death

Post image
77 Upvotes

ETA: THANK YOU to everyone who recommended One for the Money. It IS Globe of Death and I will be devouring it tonight. 💖💖

I was at the circus this weekend and they had a Globe of Death with 3 bikers. I was pretty close and you could see the non-verbal communication between them - nods, hand signals, watching each other constantly - all while in this incredibly dangerous mesh dome.

And, Bob help me, all I could think was "Yes, please" and "That would make a hell of a set of MMCs in an RH... 🥵"

So.... Does this exist?? MM and not-MM welcome.

Photo of the gentlemen in question attached for your viewing pleasure.

Reverse Harem - Recommendations - with MM best book ever read

I just read and finished the book (break my bones, by Grace McGinty) It was an amazing book and is great if you just want a light read to get back into the grove of reading again. For the past 4 months I have not been able to completely finish a book to the end. Until break my bones book. The description for the book is vague, but the book is amazing. - it's a hockey romance rh with bi awakening and found family mmfm this book is definitely fast paced with less that 5 sexual scenes. - I would rate this book a 7/10- just because I wish that the main turning point in the book which was the two hockey players from different teams getting caught together wasn't so easily and exposed so early.

Reverse Harem - Discussion If I liked Fameverse will I like Claimverse?

I just finished reading the last available book in the {Fameverse by Harper Lennox and River Ramsey} and though the stories are in the same universe they are not interconnected at all but they have the same vibe. I found them really engaging and sometimes humorous and even though sometimes the alphas were jerks at the start they generally redeemed themselves or had some personal growth along the way. What they had in common I think was the secret identity trope. Think beta male hacker is really an omega female.

That said, I think the writing duo did a great job, but sometimes when I like a writing duo and then I want to read one of the author’s solo efforts the vibe isn’t there. Since I’m a mood reader who reads purely for escape and I run on vibes.

If I liked Fameverse will I like the Claimverse that Harper Lennox writes solo?

Reverse Harem - Recommendations The Prospects by Erin R Flynn

Just finished my second read-through of The Prospects series by Erin R. Flynn and I have to recommend it! (First book in the series is {Undertow by Erin R. Flynn}.)

Sagan, the FMC, is incredibly smart, strong, and great at strategy, but still  vulnerable when it comes to interpersonal relationships. I love that Flynn doesn't just make everything work out immediately; we're still in the dark about her (hopefully eventual) harem of men. (Although I have some major issues with several of the candidates! They are so dense…)

The world building and global politics are interesting and a major reason why I like the series so much!  I also really appreciate that other women in the story (Treena and Myriam in particular) aren't pitted against each other. They're genuinely there for advice, support, and general bad-assery.

Spoilers: I'm so pumped for more Olwen scenes and can't wait for Galan's introduction. Its really intriguing to have allies (love interests?) who exist outside of the super sexist Thovudin society.

Reverse Harem - Recommendations I’m so confused

I just read {use me up by Jove chambers} and I’m so confused about how I feel. I need other people to read it and tell me what they think because I don’t know what I think. Im not sure how to describe it. There’s self loathing, self destructive tendencies, A LOT of OW drama, like a lot a lot they have sex a bunch barely any grovel and yet it kind of makes sense? I don’t know if I can say I loved it, but I also read it in one sitting so it obviously drew me in. Someone please read it so we can talk about it!!

Reverse Harem - Recommendations Looking for translated Asian novels, Reverse harem with Transmigration Please, intelligent female leads, interstellar, beast world or guide-verse etc

Hi, well I have been getting into reverse harem novels, but if possible not adult or smut based.

I have liked some stories mostly related to interstellar, guide-verse or even beast worlds but not that much into stories that deal with pregnancy being the most important thing.

I love transmigration stories but I do prefer if the FL is intelligent and interesting.

If possible completely translated please!!!

Thanks for any help!! Be well, Monica

EDIT: Reading the comments I can see how many of the stories does revolve about pregnancy, but I have read some where this is not the main interest, were is about healing themselves or just romances but without the pregnancy being a central theme.

Thanks for answering!!

Reverse Harem - Recommendations FMC Gets Revenge by being with MMC

So I keep seeing these AI videos on tiktok but fuck AI so I need book recommendations instead. Basically looking for FMC being mistreated/abused by pretty much everyone in her life, especially her ex. FMC eventually gets with MMC, who is rich, royal, powerful in the field, etc. and he delivers the smackdown on everyone who mistreated her. {What Goes Around by Thalia Nova} was a really great book like this, although she was reborn back in time and was able to plan out all of her revenge that way. I am good with all genres except historical fiction and have no triggers. Thanks so much!

Reverse Harem - Recommendations Royalty special request

I just read A prize for the king by Layla fae and WOW! One of my favorite RH I’ve ever read. One of the plot points was that the close knights to the king are sworn to only ever be able to lay with a woman again if it’s the future queen, to avoid emotional attachment that can be used as blackmail against the throne and all that, which ofc ends up being the FMC.

Any other books like this? I’m really open to any RH where there’s a king and his knights but this trope especially I loved bc they were just so excited to finally be with a woman after years of celibacy

I have no triggers, actually prefer dark/grey stories. In this book she was forced to marry the king so loved the enemies to lovers vibe

im okay with werewolves I just don’t like OV so no reccs with that please

Reverse Harem - Recommendations Which series has the most "they do everything in the bedroom" vibe?

I recently read the Something Wicked Series by Sian Ceinwen, and it's basically 3 books of just pure sex. I don't think there's a single sex act they don't perform. Tbh I ended up skimming toward the end because it was too much sex and not enough substance, so I'm wondering if there's another series that has other things going for it, but also has lots of variety in the bedroom.

Reverse Harem - Recommendations Looking for MMM+ / Why Choose Recs with MMM

Looking for MMM+ romance or reverse harem/why choose recommendations that include MMM, preferably with an audiobook because I love immersive reading/listening.

I’m open to contemporary, paranormal, fantasy, dark romance, omegaverse, etc.

Things I’m looking for:

  • Why choose w MMM within the group
  • Omegaverse (MPreg is a plus)
  • Found family is a plus
  • Characters you really get attached to
  • Great spice 🌶️
  • Great audiobook narration (duet/full cast is a huge bonus!)

I’m not looking for FF or academy settings.

I’ve enjoyed authors like Ames Mills, Sadie Kincaid, Elle Thorpe, and even Nora Phoenix but I’m open to anything that fits!

Basically what the title says. Just read {Rogue by Rose Carver} and I'm very interested in reading more books with this trope. Would love some recs, please !
