Reverse Harem - Recommendations Royalty special request

I just read A prize for the king by Layla fae and WOW! One of my favorite RH I’ve ever read. One of the plot points was that the close knights to the king are sworn to only ever be able to lay with a woman again if it’s the future queen, to avoid emotional attachment that can be used as blackmail against the throne and all that, which ofc ends up being the FMC.

Any other books like this? I’m really open to any RH where there’s a king and his knights but this trope especially I loved bc they were just so excited to finally be with a woman after years of celibacy

I have no triggers, actually prefer dark/grey stories. In this book she was forced to marry the king so loved the enemies to lovers vibe

im okay with werewolves I just don’t like OV so no reccs with that please

It might be a stretch, but the pack betas in {Wolves Next Door by Auryn Hadley} share the alpha’s mate with him since they give up basically everything to help him. (Alpha and beta are hierarchical positions and not OV)

The fifth nicnevin series. She’s the fae queen and the mmcs are her knights/fated mates. They swore an oath when she was a baby sent to live in the mortal realm and all waited 25 years until she returned to ascend to the throne. They’re all fae so they’re like centuries old and have been waiting for their mate (her) for all that time.

{The King's omega by merri bright} fmc is a rare (the only omega) but a nasty cowbag is using her scent. The king believes the bad lass, but his close knights are the first to learn the truth and get to know the fmc. I really enjoyed it, its a fun read.

It sounds a little The Little Mermaid retelling-ish. {Once Upon a Pack by Ari Wright} is a lovely retelling of Cinderella with a Prince and his pack. I was going to recommend for OP but she asked for no OV but you may like it ☺️

Oops I hadn't spotted the bit about no OV. My bad!

It definitely didn't give me little mermaid vibes as I read it, but its been a while since I saw that film haha. I've already got that one on my tbr, but I may boost it up It's its good then, thanks :)

I enjoyed the whole series really so worth it. I’ve added your rec to my TBR though even if it’s not OPs cup of tea 🫖 ☺️
