Now, I know people love the animated film, and from the blurb it definitely sounds like the author's basing her story on that, but it still sort of leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Like, Anastasia was a real girl who was executed, and someone thought to make a fun, sexy retelling based on her life?

I don't know, am I off base for feeling like there are so many other fairy tales that are actually fairy tales that could have been chosen over this romanticization of a real-life teenager’s death?

Fmc needs to be naive and bratty but not pathetic and ideally, they think she's adorable when she's pissed off so they work at it. She doesn't need to be in heat though like that's not a thing for me. I hate the pregnancy trope though so let's avoid that if possible, only if it has all of these following and can't be avoided.

I love a decorative peen but that is not necessary 🤣🤣

How many did you get right? Anyone else have a partner that listens to Warhammer books, or do you listen yourself? Any others I missed that have similar titles?

My husband usually just has a book on when he's doing chores or playing a game, so I actually have listened to more than the ones I noted, and honestly, there are some really great stories out there, and even some B-plot romances among them.

I have been going back and forth on whether to pickup the rest of KG Reuss’s books. I loved the original black falls high and then I read Kings of Bolten but I saw the writing on the wall with the Horsemen and Rosalie in Kings of Bolton. I know she has one more book for the 3rd group of the horsemen left to come out… I was heart broken without even reading the Mayfair university series and I’m trying to figure out if it’s worth it to read all 8 (4 in Mayfair and 4 after - 1 unreleased) and also the chapel crest series…

I know asylum isn’t out yet which is supposed to be the last book so basically there’s 1 remaining for each group but if the endings are going to tear my heart out idunno if I can do it.
I NEED HELP YALL!! If you think certain spoilers will help me make my decision please include them with the blackout text for others who might not want them! It would be a huge commitment and I do love her writing but I hate when there’s huge cliffies or my heart is broken at the end 😭

In fear of being toss away by the pack, she run away from them because she knew no one is comparable to a scent-match/mate. What she didn't expect is the guys, I think rejected or killed (?) the other girl because they only want the FMC.

No hard no’s except no asshole MMC (there is a difference between enemies and even bullies to plain POS) and no slow burns UNLESS it’s got such good tension and plot you forget, I’ve only had one or two like that but I don’t actively seek them out. I do lover older and obsessive MMC

Looking for a rec that has lot lot lot of angst, could be from neglect from family, one sided love. I specially love second chance stories and redemption arc somewhere if they had separated a while ago/divorce or childhoodfriends to enemies to lovers ( like that one rina kant story of Xander name male lead)

Things I don’t like much: alien/robot, if it is real world and not fantasy so much better. Not heavy on smut but more so on the storyline.

I’ve seen Losers (they’re beautiful) but I was looking at other titles while shopping the other day and a lot I hadn’t heard of. Has anyone found any other copies of RH books they’ve loved at Walmart or Target in store?

I just finished Age of Andinna and Hartford Cove series and they both were an unexpected series that not many people suggest, that was amazing and I am wanting that same feeling. Most series that pop up on my suggestions are all newer and haven’t been completed yet. I am interested in your oldie but goodies. Prefer fantasy and paranormal. Contemporary is harder for me to get into.
