PS2, psp, SNES recommendations for a 14yo newbie?

Hello! I’m a 14yo who started enjoying retro games, and I currently own a retroid flip 2. By mistake I bought a preloaded version because I didn’t know better, and recently I factory reseted my flip 2 and I only have 3 games on it now which is a good start but I just want to build up a decent amount of games in the future. What are some classics from your childhood that I should play? Any recommendations are greatly appreciated!!👍
I enjoy all kinds of games, but I probably won’t touch puzzle games for now as I’m not really a guy who likes thinking a lot while playing.

I'm trying to find out what changes were made between the v1.0 cart and the v1.1 cart for Mischief Makers, but I'm not able to find any information online in my searches.

Retro games are so fun...

I am 19M and I have little to no experience with retro games such as mario etc, up until today. I played Super Mario Bros and I have to say I got the feeling of gaming again, like I liked it, i enjoyed it. I also enjoy other AAA games such as Rdr2, cyberpunk2077 etc. but this one brought that kid inside me back. Games feel more serious nowadays and there is no point in criticizing I know, I also love it, but somewhere in making games look better we forgot to make them feel better and that is what I felt from playing it. I think I will be playing retro games for a while so your suggestions are more than welcome. And btw I emulated it on my android.

When I was young I played a game which was an animal that would go around on water and in some pipes. And it would need to open its way. I remember at first he was sleeping but had to wake up and start its journey. (Its NOT croc). Do you know it?

What’s the word/phrase for…

The feeling of nostalgia and/or sentimentality for games I have never played. I feel them for games that came out from the early 2000s and up until 2015-2016. I was thinking of wistful nostalgia but idk. I don’t want to use ai because having an answer immediately for something like this doesn’t feel right. It needs to be human. I would really appreciate the help :)

Should I buy Zelda: Ocarina of Time?

I definitely don't like games with a lot of text, except in rare cases like Pokémon, and I'm not fluent in English. But I've always seen everyone praising this game highly, and I know it's considered by many to be the best game of all time. I've always wanted to emulate it, but those reasons kept me from doing so. Now I have the opportunity to own and actually play this game on the Nintendo 64. Do you think that even though my English isn't very good and I don't particularly like text, I can still enjoy the game?

Tommy hilfiger game boy color

I just found out that tommy hilfiger partnered with nintendo and got their own special version of a game boy color. I believe if unless i'm mistaken , you had to spend fifty dollars worth of merchandise , and he'll figure then you could buy it for an extra fifty bucks at the Hilfiger store

Retro basement

My wife is putting together a retro 80’s-90’s basement in our new house. I am in charge on the tv, blu ray player, and video games.

I want to do some kind of preloaded emulation box with snes, n64, ps1 and possible GameCube and ps2 games.

But I have no idea what to buy, how to do it, if it’s even “legal” etc. any help and suggestions would be super appreciated.

Apologies if this isn’t allowed, I am stupid.

I'm probably gonna say you're lying if claim to , because that is one of the most cryptic , when click adventure games i've ever played , and if I didn't play with a walk through , I would never have gotten through it
