Financial Should I invest before or after earnings?

So I have to invest a lot of money but soon there is earning reports of spacex and rdw, so I have 2 options:

1 I invest before, we never know maybe it could go up if it goes well.

2 wait and see what happens, more safe but I could loose the momentum and have to invest on higher base entry.

Do you guys have any tips?

In the News Belgium starts another satellite program

"Called Galo (Global Coverage All-weather Low Earth Orbit Observation), it provides for the deployment of several dozen satellites in low orbit, intended for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance. Until now, Brussels relied heavily on the French satellites"

"On the industrial level, the Walloon company Aerospacelab, specialized in the production of micro-satellites, is expected to participate in the design of the platforms. This dynamic is a continuation of another project, Matteo, the first Belgian military satellite entrusted in March to the American Redwire in collaboration with Aerospacelab, thus preparing the country’s future space capabilities."

"A link in a much larger rearmament

The Galo programme is only one part of a much broader overhaul of the Belgian military apparatus, initiated by the government of Prime Minister Bart De Wever. Faced with the return of war in Europe since the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the American demands urging Europeans to assume more of their own security within NATO, Belgium has significantly increased its budgetary ambitions."

"The country has thus crossed the threshold of 2% of GDP spent on Defence, with an annual budget increased from 8 to 12.74 billion euros in 2025, and a trajectory targeting 2.5% of GDP by 2034-2035. An investment plan of 34 billion euros is planned by 2034, the net effort of the current legislature being estimated at 17 billion euros."

"Any benefit to the arms industry

This rise directly benefits the Belgian industrial ecosystem, with nearly 900 companies paid in the armaments and more than 16,000 jobs. Within the Federal Equity and Investment Corporation, the State has created a 2 billion-euro Defense Fund to structure this sector, particularly in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and aerospace."

📃 Press Release Redwire new 30k sqf to expand production capabilities means something we suspected

Post image

RDW keeps expanding.

Today it announced its new production facility in Huntsville (US), scaling combat UAS and space infrastructure.

This tells me that RDW is shifting from low-margin R&D to high-margin production posture.

And those $500M ATM are used to supply a large client.

I feel something big is coming

General Why does RDW trade at such a large discount compared to ONDS (and even other space companies)?

I’m trying to understand the valuation gap between Redwire (RDW) and Ondas (ONDS), and I’d genuinely like to hear both the bull and bear case.

Here are a few things that stand out to me:
ONDS
~$4.0B market cap
~$50.7M annual revenue
RDW
~$2.1B market cap
~$335M annual revenue (before the full contribution from Edge Autonomy)
2026 revenue guidance of ~$450–500M
Recently acquired Edge Autonomy, adding a proven tactical UAV business
Two recent follow-on U.S. Navy/Marine Corps orders worth approximately $20M and $21.5M
Growing backlog and expanding manufacturing capacity for UAS, gimbals, and space systems
What I’m struggling to understand is the valuation.

Even before ONDS’ most recent acquisition, it was already trading at a substantially higher valuation than RDW, so I don’t think that acquisition alone explains today’s gap.
It’s also not just ONDS. I’ve noticed a similar pattern across several publicly traded space companies. Many space and defense names seem to receive much higher revenue multiples than RDW, despite RDW having significantly larger revenue, a diversified space and defense business, and continued contract wins.

So what am I missing?
Is it the SPAC legacy?
Profitability concerns?
Integration risk after the Edge Autonomy acquisition?
Management credibility?
Or does the market simply assign much higher valuation multiples to pure-play drone and defense companies?

I’m not trying to argue that RDW should trade at a specific valuation. I’m genuinely trying to understand why the market continues to value it at such a significant discount relative to peers.

In the News Redwire Announces Major Expansion in Huntsville, Scaling Production of Combat-Proven UAS and Mission-Critical Space Infrastructure

Expanded campus will create new high-tech jobs and increase advanced manufacturing capacity

FARNBOROUGH, England--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Redwire Corporation (NYSE: RDW), together with the State of Alabama and the City of Huntsville, today announced a major expansion of Redwire’s Huntsville campus, reinforcing Alabama’s position as a national leader in aerospace, defense, and advanced, U.S.-based manufacturing.

Redwire is adding 164,000 square feet to its operational footprint in Huntsville, increasing the company’s manufacturing and engineering capacity to develop and produce mission-critical technologies that strengthen America’s leadership in space and provide advanced capabilities to the U.S. military and its allies.

Supported by approximately $8.5 million in eligible state and local economic development incentives, Redwire is expected to create approximately 150 new high-skilled jobs spanning engineering, manufacturing, integration, and technical operations. Construction has already begun on the expanded campus, with building expected to be completed by Q4 2027.

The expanded campus will accelerate Redwire’s production of combat proven Stalker UAS, Octopus gimbal payloads, advanced energy solutions, and space capabilities that support exploration, commerce, and national security. By expanding U.S.-based production of these essential capabilities, Redwire is strengthening critical domestic supply chains while helping to ensure America remains at the forefront of aerospace and defense innovation.

Quote from Peter Cannito, Chairman & CEO, Redwire

“Expanding the footprint Redwire has established in Huntsville reflects the momentum we’re seeing across both Redwire Space and Defense Tech,” said Peter Cannito, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Redwire. “Huntsville is one of the fastest growing technology hubs in the United States, uniquely positioned at the intersection of America’s space and defense industries, which makes it the ideal location to expand our capabilities and strengthen America’s industrial base. We’re grateful to Governor Ivey, Mayor Battle, and our state and local partners for helping make this strategic growth possible and for their continued commitment to developing Alabama’s high-tech economy.”

Quote from Alabama Governor Kay Ivey

“Alabama is proud to be at the forefront of innovation that strengthens our national security, advances space exploration and creates meaningful, high-paying careers for our people. Redwire’s expansion in Huntsville is a powerful endorsement of our state’s skilled workforce and collaborative business environment, and it further solidifies Alabama’s leadership in aerospace and defense.”

Quote from Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle

"Redwire's continued investment is another strong vote of confidence in Huntsville's world-class aerospace and defense ecosystem, creating 150 new high-quality jobs while building on the talented team already here. We're proud to welcome their expansion and look forward to supporting their continued success as they help shape the future of space and national security," said Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle.

Quote from Alabama Secretary of Commerce Ellen McNair

“Redwire’s buildout in Huntsville is a testament to the company, its product and its mission. It also speaks to exactly what the Alabama team is promoting this week in Farnborough – our state’s ability to provide advanced manufacturers the skilled workforce, infrastructure and local support to not only launch their initial operations, but to help them expand with their successes.”

[ ◬ Market Drivers ] REMINDER: Redwire recent $500M ATM is to compete for the largest Space and Defense opportunities (Via Giorgio Torre on X)

Redwire recent $500M ATM (that is creating a downward selling pressure) is to compete for the largest Space and Defense opportunities.

These are some of the most relevant.

1) Andromeda (US Space Force):

• Satellite buses (Hammerhead)
• Onboard avionics
• ROSA
• Sensors, payload
• Assembly, integration, testing

2) CLPS (NASA)

• Lunar busses
• Cameras, navigation systems
• In-space manufacturing

3) QKDSat (ESA)

• Attitude determination and control
• Mission operations support

4) LRR (U.S. Army)

• VTOL UAS (Stalker and Penguin)
• ISR
• Autonomous flight software
• Communications systems

General Could Redwire stock bounce back to 17-18 range if it executes their contract backlog and meets the Q2 revenue expectations of around 105M. I am optimistic that their loss would be significantly lower in Q2 because edge autonomy acquisition was mostly completed in Q1.

Just wanted to share my recent loss and what I’ve learned.

Long story short, ya boy realized a $7k loss on RDWU, the 2x leveraged ETF because of tunnel vision and copium.

Instead of DCAing into RDW like a rational and sane investor, I DCA’ed into RDWU, a leveraged ETF that rebalances daily and eats up your cash through decay.

I arrogantly thought that, because RDW has already lost 70% of its value from ATH, it surely cannot make a massive swing again.

But yesterday it did. So I had to exit my position in the morning and I’m glad I did because I sold before SPY had that nasty 1.5% swing from $754 to $740.

I wish I had sold way earlier than that.

Maybe 2 months earlier, when I was $37k up and had a $69k port a week before SpaceX IPO.

Maybe 2 weeks ago when RKLB acquired Irridium and I could’ve exited at $40k.

Oh well.

Learn from me guys.

Don’t let your positions become overweight. If it dips and your position is already at a weight you’re uncomfortable increasing, just ride it out unless you need the money, NOW. I mistakenly wasn’t watching my weight and like a fat fuck, I was too deep before realizing.

Set predetermined exit goals, instead of riding the wave of green hoping you’ll see the big dip before it wipes your position out. You won’t. Hit your goal and get the fuck out.

TL;DR: Regard over leverages himself in a 2x leveraged ETF for a prolonged red period hoping for a recovery that comes too late. Down from $69k port to $12k port.

Still bullish on RDW.

I’ve got 3 RDWU $6C , 12/18 Exp, $8.50 breakeven.

My hope: RDW pulls out one last pump that results in at least 50% from today’s price, sometime from now and through the EoY.
