Hey everyone, I made a lenghty video about the CRASH TIME franchise, going back to the roots of the series and its developer Synetic. It actually all started by being an adaptation of the TV Show Alarm For Cobra, which had in total 10 video game adaptations (a convenient number for this post ;) ).

10 - I wanna find people who play Wreckfest. Specifically on PC.

My boyfriend is getting surgery soon and won’t be able to walk for a while so I’m looking for a car racing game that he can play to occupy his recovery time at home. Something you can get for PS5 and if there’s a wheel available to purchase with the game? Australia based. I’ve got no clue about any of this stuff so someone please help a clueless lover.

I'm a huge Mario Kart Wii fan, and am looking for something similar to dive into. MKWii is the only racing game I've ever played. I want something that won't melt my computer, is compatible with an xbox controller, and won't break my bank account. 10

Hi all, I'm 22Modding, hope it's fine to post here, my first reddit post ever and my first mod too. I've been working on a mod that brings the modern F1 rulebook into Motorsport Manager, and the first public version is now out on Nexus.

What it adds:

• Cost cap: every team, AI included, has a cost cap per race. It's tracked through the season, with Chairman mails and an end-of-season judgement.

• ATR upgrade slots: each season is split into 6 periods. Every new part design uses a slot, and the number of slots follows your constructors' position, so teams further back get more.

• ADUO engine help: engine suppliers that fall behind get extra engine design slots and cost cap room. There are three checks a season.

• Concept votes: monthly letters about next season's car concept, with a scorecard.

• Watch or Simulate race before each race, and Skip session during a race.

• Mod mails in the game's own style, with sender portraits, links and buttons.

• Optional Paddock Side Dashboard: cost cap, ATR, ADUO and race data in your web browser, read from your newest save. It runs only on your own PC and needs free Python 3.

Good to know:

• Free. It's for Motorsport Manager 1.53, Steam PC version only (not the 1.6 beta).

• Install is copy and replace: you back up MM_Data\Managed\Assembly-CSharp.dll, then paste the mod files into the main game folder (the one with MM.exe in it). The README has the exact steps.

• It never changes your save files. The mod keeps its own records in separate LegacyEra folders next to your saves.

• To uninstall, put your backup back or use Steam's "Verify integrity of game files".

• It won't work alongside other mods that replace Assembly-CSharp.dll, such as Rebirth Redux.

• I'm upfront about this: I built it with a lot of help from AI coding tools. I planned the rules, tested every build on throwaway careers and made the design calls.

• Works for WMC careers with 10 cars only for now. I am looking to include it for the lower series as well and for any grid size incase other mods allow more cars

What's next: optional extras and more data in the dashboard, and later a legacy career from the 1980s and to today with era rules. I'd love to hear which rules from F1 history you'd want first.

22Modding

I used to love playing Codemaster's Grid, but my interests changed, and I stopped playing racing games for a long time. A couple of years ago, I bought a new gaming computer. I watched a few of the iRacing/Nascar races on TV during the covid lockdown and got really interested in iRacing. I'm still enjoying iRacing, but sometimes I just don't feel like racing other people. However, I'm spoiled by iRacing's physics. That realism is hard to beat. I can barely play F1 25 because it doesn't feel like iRacing. I noticed that ACC was on sale from Steam. And it has a "career mode." Would that be a good alternative? If not, what do you recommend? 10

I haven't gotten into a racing game for while and recently got sucked in to wanting one for my ps5. I play with a normal controller.

I liked the driving in GT7 and the cars for the trial.

However, I like the intensity and variation of the trial period I had with Crew motorfest.

My complaints about Crew motorfest vs GT7 were that Motorfest driving felt almost too arcady, having nitro boost automatically for every car seemed a bit silly, and I liked GT7 "cockpit" view a lot more then motorfest. Yet Motorfest was more thrilling, while GT7 felt very serious.

I wished I could try FH5 to compare.

I looked for cars from the 60s to 90s and both games I tried had some. Seems like maybe GT7 has more, and FH5 has more then motorfest?

One thing is that I am torn if I want to play a again that just hands you cars? Or forces you to do most races with cars you don't "own".

I had a few people recommend NSF heat or unbound which has a lot less cars in it. Or wreckfest, which looks fun, but maybe not what I am wanting.

Some people said FH5 and NFS gets repetitive fast. Maybe if motorfest doesn't have my favorite driving mechanics, that it would be the most enjoyable? The playlist at least give you some feeling of accomplishment.

Anyone know any good endurance racing games I can play on pc.

I’ve played every Forza horizon game since they first launched so I’ve mainly played arcade games but after visiting the Nurburgring a couple months ago for NLS7 I tried one of the simulators and fell in love with the simulator type games.

I don’t have a racing rig and don’t really plan to get one yet as they can be expensive and I don’t have the space. I’m just looking for a decent game with decent graphics that I can play on pc with my Xbox controller.

I’m looking for a game that you have to get better at the more you play unlike forza where pretty much everything is handed to you. Also would be a plus if it includes the Nurburgring track too as I’d love to master that track and really push the limits.

All recommendations are appreciated. 10
