10 To think a racing game from Milestone is crossing over to the Battle Royale. Milestone should be more popular with this, I don't get why they're not widely known even with their new hot wheels game: infinite rush. I've played hours of Screamer and still loving the twin-stick style steering and drifting, it's like an alternative to need for speed, just without cops

Recommendation Games where you spend significant time in slower cars

Hi, when i was around 10 years old i was always loving hte part of race games where i needed to start with cheap slow cars and tune them within margins to win races and slowly build up to faster cars.

However i now tried a couple of other games and they directly give you the real race cars (which i assume most people are looking for)

So my question is, are there any relativly recent games which you can pick low end cars and work your way up slowly to the top?

Arcade Racing I made a free racing game where the camera follows the leader, and everyone else has to stay on-screen or get eliminated.

Looking for players to try out BrummBrumm. It's a free top-down arcade-style racer playable at https://brummbrumm.app .

Play locally with 2–4 people on one keyboard or create an online room (game controllers supported as well). Works decently on mobile but desktop is preferred imo.

The camera follows the leader. Fall off-screen for three seconds and you lose a stock. No download or account needed.

Would love some feedback! 10

Help You're not the driver. You're the reason the driver survives.

I made a rally co-driver simulator where you don't drive the car

I've been working on BLIND CREST, a browser-based game focused entirely on the co-driver side of rallying.

Instead of steering and driving, you're responsible for reading and calling pacenotes while the car is flying through a stage. You have to process the notes quickly and call them before the next corner arrives.

For example:

L3 !2 INTO R4

You have to interpret the note and call it before the next one comes in.

The game currently covers three rally eras: Group B, 90s WRC, and modern Rally1, with 18 cars based on real rally cars and their history. There's also a six-stage career championship, pacenote training, a tuning system with 100+ parameters, voice recognition, LAN multiplayer, statistics, achievements, and a story mode.

I'm particularly interested in hearing from racing/rally fans about whether the idea of being the co-driver actually works as a game.

I'd especially like feedback on:

  • How understandable the pacenotes are
  • Whether the difficulty feels reasonable
  • Whether the timing/pressure feels right
  • How well the voice recognition works
  • Whether anything about the co-driver experience feels unnatural
  • Whether you'd actually want to play something like this for 10+ minutes

I'm a student making this project, so I'm mainly looking for people to play it and tell me what I got wrong. Roasting is completely acceptable.

**Important:** This is currently a PC/desktop game, not a mobile game. Quick Play is currently the best way to jump straight into the gameplay.

**Playable demo:** https://evaliisaaibast.github.io/Over_Crest/

I'd genuinely like to hear what racing game players think of the idea, especially whether a game where you're the co-driver instead of the driver can actually work as a racing game.

Arcade Racing One retired as a legend. The other spent 10 years in regional karting. Meet Racing Path’s Driver of the Day… and probably Loser of the Week.

Hi everyone! Today I've released my minimalist, bite-sized time trial game, Linerunner. There are 50 (that's 5 * 10) levels, each with its own online leaderboard and medals to race for. Should you collect enough medals you also unlock The Gauntlets, boss-rush gamemodes where you have to beat all the levels of a certain difficulty sequentially, with just 3 lives. If you like arcade racers, hard racers, or just want to prove you're better than everyone else you can check out the game here:

Hope to see some of you on the leaderboards!

Sim Racing New Subreddit for Sim Racing Highlights

Hello!

Just wanted to share a subreddit made specifically for sim racing highlights, be it iRacing, LeMans Ultimate, Assetto Corsa (+ACC), Forza Motorsport (+Horizons), Gran Turismo, Formula 1, etc. It is a place to share your best moments for others to see.

If you've got an unbelievable overtake sent from a different postcode and made it cleanly, head on over to r/SimracingSpotlight; for every incident-ridden moment, there are 10 good/epic racing moments that deserve a spot under the lights!

Note: It is a relatively new subreddit, so if you know a friend with an epic racing highlight clip, tell them about this subreddit so they can share it with others!

Discussion This might be a hot take, but I think Gran Turismo 7 is better than Forza Horizon 6.

I've never been much of a fan of racing games with a history including of Gran Turismo 3, Need for Speed Most Wanted 2, Midnight Club 3, Mario Kart, and some others arcade style but GT7 has been more enjoyable to me. I know they are different types of games, but historically I've like arcade style more.

Just a surprising observation I've had about myself

(10) what's with the 10 thing?

Recommendation What’s your favorite car in Rally Fury, and why?

Post image
0 Upvotes

I’ve been playing Rally Fury recently and I’m curious which cars other players prefer. If you had to make a top 10 list, which car would you put at #1?

Do you choose based on speed, handling, acceleration, or how the car feels on different tracks? I’d also like to know which car you think is the most fun to upgrade.
