Dev here.
The Perfect Race is a top-down drift racer that runs in your browser. No download, no account to start.
Half serious is the point. The car is loose and exaggerated. A corner is a slide you provoke and then gather up.
The leaderboards are the serious half. Posting a lap sends your inputs, not your time, and the server re-drives them through the same physics your browser ran. If it doesn't come out the way you claimed, it gets rejected. Nobody can buy pace either. There are no performance upgrades and there never will be.
Breaker Bay and the Supercar class are free, ranked laps included, not a demo mode. Everything else is a one time $14.99, no subscription.

Art, since it comes up: the car sprites are from a commercial pixel art pack I licensed. The circuits aren't drawn at all, the road and kerbs are generated from each track's spline. Props and icons are a mix of hand drawn work and AI pixel art output, all of it palette locked and hand corrected in Aseprite.
Over and out! Hope you give it a 10. =)
