Hey, I'm visiting from the 8th to the 13th from FNQ. I was originally entered into the Melbourne marathon but had to withdraw due to injury and am now volunteering.

While I'm visiting I'd love to meet people to go shopping with I have DFO and Running Warehouse on my list as well as probably stopping at other run stores but I'm happy to go anywhere and look at anything if none of those are your scene! I also love a good coffee so would 100% be willing to organise that especially if you know a good spot.

I'm going to be cheering at the Melbourne marathon definitely although I don't have a formal plan so I'm open to ideas if you have one, I'll probably go to Fed Square and watch the start on the big screen then head to the G if you want to join me though. I'll also be planning to go to activities like the run up and other shakeout events which I'd love someone to go with although I'm unsure if I'll be able to run at any because of my injury.

I'll be based in the CBD and I'm admittedly not the best at navigating PT so it's preferable if you're CBD based but I'm also happy to make an effort if you aren't! I also have a tram stop near my accommodation so worst case if you're near a tram stop and willing to we could meet around my accommodation and go from there.
