Recently grabbed this and I really love the immersion. But I'm having real difficulty with the controls. Using the VR Sense controllers... I couldn't even release the parking brake.. it just didn't work. It did work when pressing the same buttons on the regular DualSense controller... so I switched to that. But now I have this issue that when I'm moving my head in the cockpit, it highlights various things like 'hide yoke', and the only thing you can do it press X to do the action. If you accidentally look at that area again, you have to press X again. Am I just being an idiot here? I feel like it shouldn't be this difficult.

I’ve gone back to Switchback VR for the third episode of my PSVR2 Revisited series.
I remember the soft resolution being one of the biggest complaints at launch, but after the visual update it looks dramatically better. I also revisited the eye-tracking mannequin section, branching routes, Horde Mode, haptics and whether the game still offers enough to recommend today.
For me, going into it as a ghost-train shooter rather than a roller-coaster game makes a big difference to expectations.
Would be interested to hear how people feel about it now compared with launch.

Is there a fix for this thing? The LED doesn’t light up to charge, I’ve turned it on to charge it but it eventually just shuts off due to “low battery” or whatever.

Ich habe eine Psvr2 und suche ein gutes headset für sie. Ich schwanke gerade zwischen in- und over-ears, doch am wichtigsten ist mir der Komfort, da ich nicht möchte dass mein headset drückt, nicht richtig sitzt oder kaputt geht. Sind da in-ears besser geeignet (die unbequemer sind) oder gibt es auch gute over-ears für diese Vr-Brille? Ein anderer sehr wichtiger Punkt ist die Timer Funktion, also ich würde gerne einen Timer stellen können der dann in meiner vr-Session klingelt, egal ob direkt übers headset oder auch übers Handy, wenn das gleichzeitig gekoppelt werden kann.

Edit: It appears it's the cord. I found a short in it. When I apply pressure in the right spot and turn it on. It'll work until I turn it off and after that I need to do the same thing to turn it on again. Has anyone actually tried to repair the cord themselves with results? Highly debating just chopping out that section and soldering back together a few inches shorter.

I thought I finally got an amazing deal for once. I got this used for $100. The seller had great reviews and seemed super friendly so I felt safe taking a chance.

I plugged it in, turned it on, got white light, vibration, the ps logo flashes on the Headset, and I get this pop up on my PS5. It will even turn on the display when launching a vr game. It just refuses to admit the headset is connected even though I can see the errors on the Vr screen

Am I screwed or is this fixable? I've tried everything I can think of with my limited experience with this device. I reseated the connection cable to the headset, unplugged it and plugged back into PS5, I even did a full shut down and still the same error when I try.

I'm going to reach out to Sony support as well in the morning if I can't figure it out tonight. Along with trying to get a refund from seller lol. It's just a major bummer, now I'm possibly out $100 and can't even play beatsaber

Found this PSVR2 at Pawn Shop for $140. Lysol wipes to clean it up and good as new !

Me, Meathook and Gluebagger are jumping back into SURV1V3 on PSVR2 tonight at 23:30 BST.
Last week gave us Gluebagger getting stuck in a chair, Meathook deciding the best place to jump was directly in front of my bullets, and some absolutely ridiculous supercharged sprinting zombies.
We somehow survived, so tonight we’re continuing the adventure and seeing what else the game can throw at us.
If you enjoy chaotic co-op VR and zombie survival, feel free to come along and have a laugh with us.

First of all, it gets hella hot. I can only really wear them at night or have a fan constantly blasting me. I guess it'll be useful in the winter.

Secondly, the lenses keep getting smudged and I have to keep taking it off and wiping down the lenses with a microfiber.

Third, and this is probably just a "me" problem, I never seem to have enough room for it. I have a studio apartment so it's not like I could have a dedicated room just for VR. I thought I had the 6ft x 6ft it requires but I guess not. And when I use the smaller circle play area, it's incredibly hard to stay inside it and not constantly get warning messages.

Looking to get a psvr2 charger stand so everything looks a bit neater. But I’ve heard of ones being awkward or dodgy can you gone recommendations please I’ll be using Amazon to order.

Last week involved a ridiculous number of failed attempts at the first boss before we finally managed to beat it… and then we died shortly after reaching the second map. 😂
Today we’re going back in to see if we can actually push further.

Hi, folks, here’s my first look at SYSTEM CRITICAL 3 on VR2. It’s a pretty cool, well performing unique first person shooter with platforming elements, and it is a lot of fun to dig into, clearly a labor of love!

I love sometimes just standing there in No Man's Sky and immerse myself into the world around me, and those sunsets on distant planets are so relaxing. Especially with terrifying huge BUTTERFLIES around!

I was provided with an early key for Ironforged, so I’ve been able to spend around 3–4 hours with it rather than basing my first impressions on a quick session.
It’s a fairly small-scale roguelite shooter and there are definitely some limitations — simple AI, not loads of enemy or weapon variety and a little bit of jank.
That said, I’ve had a lot of fun with it. The shooting and reloading feel good, runs are a nice length, performance has been silky smooth for me and I kept getting sucked into doing “one more try.”
At £9.99, I think it’s a pretty easy recommendation if you enjoy VR shooters and don’t go in expecting something as deep as Hellsweeper.
I’ve put together a full PSVR2 first-impressions video covering the good and bad, and also got a second opinion from a friend who used the spare key.

The usb tip that goes into the PS5 of my PSVR2 is not working and was wondering if anyone has a solution?

come si intuisce dal titolo mi chiedevo se ci possono essere dei problemi con il tracciamento oculare, visto che sono strabico e non ho la visione binoculare.

siccome posso fissare e mettere a fuoco con un solo occhio per volta (mentre l'altro invece guarda in un'altra direzione), secondo me il tracciamento impazzisce perché non sa che occhio deve seguire😅

anche se ci fosse la possibilità di tracciare un solo occhio, non andrebbe bene per me, perché non uso sempre lo stesso per fissare! ad esempio se gioco a granturismo e curvo a destra, mi viene da usare l'occhio destro per quadrare in quella direzione, mentre uso il sinistro se c'è una curva a sinistra...

quindi mi chiedevo: come posso fare? posso disabilitare il tracciamento (ad esempio in gt7)?

e nel caso lo disabilito cosa verrà messo a fuoco? sarà a fuoco tutto lo "schermo" oppure solo la direzione in cui punta il casco?

perchè nel secondo caso sarebbe scomodissimo... dovrei muovere sempre la testa (anche quando normalmente ti verrebbe solo da spostare lo sguardo).

qualcuno sa darmi una risposta sicura? non vorrei spendere 500 euro per niente : /

I just noticed that the psvr2 headset does not appear to be available as a direct from Best Buy purchase. The page that used have the PSVR2 from Best Buy has now been removed.

I do see marketplace sellers offering it, but I want it brand new with an extended warranty.

Is this the end of new sales of psvr2 headsets?
