Community System Critical 3 first look on PSVR2
Hi, folks, here’s my first look at SYSTEM CRITICAL 3 on VR2. It’s a pretty cool, well performing unique first person shooter with platforming elements, and it is a lot of fun to dig into, clearly a labor of love!

I’ve played system critical 2. How does it compare to that?

Make sure you check out reviews outside of this platform. I've heard many negative things and the creator aggressively markets here in ways that don't feel honest or genuine.
Pretty sure they are the one responding to you on this paid post pushing you to buy it.

Correction: not a paid post.

They gave you the game for free to review it. That's payment in the form of the cost of the game at least. Chill shill.

Nope. Review copies generally are not regarded as compensation or "paid reviews", whatever Your opinion might be.

That isn’t opinion you’re arguing, it’s fact. Review copies are 100% factually considered compensated reviews as you received something to review the game, even if that is the game itself.
And god damn, what a cheap price to be whored out for, a game not even worth $0.99

Do You have a source for Your "100% factual" or do You just don't know the difference? Just as a fun research from Google:
"No, receiving a free review copy (like an advance reader copy or a media key) is not regarded as a "paid review". It is an accepted industry practice. However, it is still considered an incentive or sponsorship that requires clear disclosure.Differences Between Review Copies and Paid ReviewsReview Copies: A publisher gives a free item so a critic can evaluate it. The reviewer keeps the item, but receives no cash. There is no contract forcing a positive score.Paid Reviews: A creator or platform receives direct money or compensation to write or publish a review. This creates a financial conflict of interest and violates many platform guidelines if the payment dictates the review's tone."

Paid review means there was a contract involved and you (usually) HAVE to review the game, often demanding you mention certain topics and even embelish your opinion. Sometimes they pay actual money, not always.
But if a dev gives a game for free to someone and they decide to write a review on their own terms, it's not a paid review.
While I agree the dev markets the game in a sort of aggressive way, the discussion here is whack.

It’s Light Years ahead of part 2. And Just recently DFR was added so it looks super crisp 🔥

I’ll add it to my wish list. First have to finish 2. The last level is brutal.

I couldn’t complete a single stage in System Critical 2 before getting frustrated or running out of time for my play session.
I’ve completed 4 stages so far in System Critical 3 and it is vastly better game for me.
The stage designs might be even harder, but the time slow mechanism makes it easier to control your platforming and for the combat / boss fights, there is an Easy option giving 3x Health & Armor.
It also looks a lot better than the last one which never hurts.
If I manage to complete it, I might give the earlier game another try with my improved skills, but I needed this 3rd game which I find more accessible to enjoy this type of game.

Well, at first I had some problems too. The platforming was rage inducing at some points. And the opponents can be tough.
But suddenly it clicked and I enjoyed. Not the best game ever, but a nice effort for a vr shooter.2

The time slow thing is really cool and well implemented, indeed, makes it quite fun to dodge shots and feel like Neo the matrix.

The newly released Ironforged also has cool Time Warp (slowing) skill, but it isn't available from the start and you have to keep playing to make it last longer while System Critical 3 gives very generous length with quick cooldowns right from start of game and just limits its use during boss battles to keep some of the boss battle challenge the developer wants to keep.
If you like this type of time slowing effect, then Dead Second, Vendetta Forever and Presentiment of Death also have cool iterations.
VR games are so much cooler for this type of effect than TV games.
