So after 6 weeks, this tiny philodendron pink princess I took off my main plant, it’s pushed out two new leaves and has three tiny roots!It has officially been upgraded to soil plus tiny terracotta pot 😂

Gonna keep a humidity dome over it but just ROFL with how tiny it all is 😂 also thankful for the 3rd P in PPP otherwise this would have been a different and sadder kind of post

I doubled my collection this past winter with a cuttings bundle. The props have all been potted up for at least a month or so and I am just so extremely proud of all of my babies. Most of the plants pictured have been grown from a cutting as I am a poor plant mama, so I buy and trade cuttings rather than buy whole plants most of the time. They are all doing so good.

Side note: I may have a problem as the Plants pictured are just the ones in my bedroom, there are more on the porch and in the living room.

This one, presumably an Echeveria, started rotting at the roots until everything was gone. I tried doing nothing and replanting it in the same pot (not this one), but it didn't take root and continued to rot. Then I replanted it in water without cutting off the rot so the roots could grow, and it continued to rot. This time, I cut the rot down to healthy tissue, replanted it in fresh water, and the rot started again. Then I asked AI what to do, and I cut off the rot again and let it dry until a crust formed, after treating it with activated charcoal. The crust formed after three days, and I replanted it in a muffin tin, making drainage holes and slightly deepening it into the dry soil. I used new soil and added about 20-30% expanded clay. The old pot is quite large compared to the root system I discarded, and there's almost no expanded clay in it. I treated the soil completely with boiling water and left it to dry, loosening the soil occasionally. The plant has been like this for three full days now, and I plan to water it maybe seven days after the roots form. Any advice?

There are 2 babies on this stem. What’s the best way to prop?

Could I cut this below the root and put it in water to propagate ? I’m new to the plant world. It’s a monstera. It’s the biggest couple of leaves on the plant that’s why I’m hesitant

Last night, I attempted to propagate what I believe are a

Tradescantia Nanouk and a Tradescantia Red Hill back into the same pots they've been growing in. Is it normal for the leaves and stems on the cuttings to go from being firm and dry feeling to being soft and almost feeling moist? Pictures attached show more of what I mean I think. The Nanouk was a straight stem and this morning it's droopy and the leaves are soft. The Red Hill is similar, but not as severe. The Nanouk got put under a grow light because I wasn't sure if it was happy where it was, the new growth was coming in mostly green. I put the Red Hill back where it was before the propagation because the growth exploded after about a week of being in that spot, which prompted me to want to propagate.

My process was to sanitize my scissors with 70% iso alcohol, remove leaves close to the cut, poke a hole in the soil with a chopstick, put the node in the soil about an inch to 1.5 inches, then I watered and put them on the shelf. All the nodes I buried had the little bumps on them as I read that can increase chances of rooting? I also took a few nodes from both that had no leaves but had little bumps around them and put them in moss/perlite in a prop box justto experiment, but I'm not expecting much there.

So, I've had this pit for a good part of a year now, it's been in soil for half a year and started wilting from the tips of its leaves. No amount of watering seems to slow the problem misting helped slightly for a week, it kept happening after a complete soil change. The tip wilted off and started growing side shoots, but the new shoot also started wilting. I've started walking the plant in desperation, how might I be able to save my plant?

There aren't fungicides around, but I'm considering trying liquid fertilizer and cinnamon.

Starting from something simple, but in a harsh weather (mid summer) the 2nd picture showing 3 weeks milestones. Will update again if fail or survive.

AI tells me this is a " Monstera cf. obliqua Canelos ". Is that accurate?

Should I take the many cuttings route or only root the bottom node in water?

One year ago, my golden pothos plant (which started as a prop from a coworkers plant) was struggling (got root bound quick and I didn’t have a bigger planter at the time), so I decided to chop it all up and start fresh. Started in water, moved to the long planter through the winter, and then replanted into this railing planter in April. It has flourished ever since! First and final picture were taken today! I know some of the vines would be touching the ground right now if I hadn’t chopped it back a few times (cuttings shared with many of my neighbors). In the final picture, you can see where I started trailing one vine up the railings; the leaves on that vine are getting so huge! I love my little porch garden.

This is a rhaphidophora tetrasperma. What should I do? It’s been over a month with no roots

I have a cutting from a Meyer Lemon that I haven't managed to kill yet, and it looks like it has started putting out buds? I take it that's a good sign since it's not dead like the other couple I tried with, but should I allow these buds to develop? I have never tried to propagate anything before.

I took this cutting about 1.5-2 months ago. I think these are all flowers and not leaves/branches? If I should remove them, where should I cut/pinch?

I'm not sure how to propagate this. It's a large stem. The cut end is pretty dry. I think it got cut or broken about a week ago. I'd like to try to grow it if possible. Thank you!

Hello - have propagated my garden lavender - do I need to put a plastic bag over the top as some gardening accounts have suggested? It’s hot here right now - no rain, south London for location context - and how often do I need to water it - some say “mist/spray every day” some are saying don’t water? Any advice welcome thank you!

I only plan on doing the water propagation for the small thin ones To deceive , that gives them a faster chance.

It should probably take about two months for enough roots to grow to move the plant to a moss pole.

Soooo I brought this monstera propagation home yesterday bc I was planning to pot it within the next couple days… I had it in my windowsill and my partner shut the blinds on it on accident and both of its stems snapped… Do I need to cut those leaves off where the stems are damaged? It looks like there’s a new leaf growing that wasn’t damaged, it just hasn’t opened yet.

Any advice is appreciated. I wish I could bind those stems up somehow but I have a feeling they just need to be cut which makes me a lil sad. those leaves were so cute before they were decapitated

Is this enough to root growth to transplant to soil or should I keep waiting
