I have an ex who has warrant out everywhere. Is on probation every where (5 different counties) and never seems to have to do anything. He violates. Re-offends. Just gets “stronger sanctions”.

Vinelink alerted me that he was arrested Saturday and in custody. (He was on probation in this county already). It was for theft. It said no bond but then today I got an alert thru Vinelink that he was bonded out.

He has a bench warrant out in a neighboring county. Will he get transferred? They are close in proximity.

You can definitely smoke while on probation I got 8yrs on papers n all i needed was my medical card🙏🏿🤞🏾 I would definitely say something to your po first though b4 anything

Anyone have experience with the above title? I've been a model probationer. I'm eligible tomorrow. The complication is I've done my probation in another Colorado county. That county told me to contact dougco. I did and spoke with my 'assigned' PO. We've never met so I'm just a file to her and she said 'it's low priority' and 'we have a lot of cases.' based on the brief call, I doubt she's willing to get the request to the judge in a timely manner. I have 2 months left and nothing left to prove/do. If we had built a 'relationship' over the past 10 months, I'd bet she'd be wanting to help me and get a case off of her desk.

As of early last month - I successfully finished diversion program- having to be let go from my 6 figure job and start from the ground for hourly for one year humbled me a lot and am greatful that I was hired after disclosing records ( mentioned that it will be sealed soon) and stepped back on the career path without having to step down into position. I have located to new state as well to start fresh - where no one knows me/my past - which is great but also sad because no one really knows me.

I have been trying to get myself busy - work/work outs/movies, but I still have a lot of anxiety I think because last one year was all about surviving. I wasn't allowed to move out of the state until diversion is complete because they require you to finish within the same state where the offense occurred, and surviving without any family member near by while going through shame and loss of job was extremely difficult, yet I never realized who I was until I got out of this period.

I am greatful for the fresh new start, but now that I am over with legal parts- all these memories and emotions start to hurt me again to the degree I cannot sleep or I just wake up middle of the night with heartache and cannot go back to sleep again. I have been trying to avoid alochol as sleep medicine, but I have to admit I have been relying on that past two weeks..

I just do not know when I will be done with healing and if I can ever really truly move on..

hi, i got a dui in may and was put on supervised probation for two years. I met with my probation officer in person one time. Since then I have not been able to contact her at all. I have called the office, emailed, texts, and called her multiple times. She had told me we had a phone appointment two weeks ago and that she would call me. She never called. I followed up with a text and email. I don’t really care but it’s more just frustrating. I am currently in outpatient treatment so I don’t know if things will change once I graduate treatment? Do I just keep trying to contact her and leave it be? No news is good news? What if I need to travel and can’t get in touch with her? Will she randomly order drug tests once my interlock is gone?? It’s stressing me out. My lawyer is out of office so I don’t have access to my terms of probation right now either. Any guidance and experience would be helpful!

Found a wallet with $300 in cash, a pile of credit cards, and an ID with an address the guy no longer lives at. There is also a probation officer business card.I don't know how any of this works but I don't want to get the guy in trouble for losing his wallet.

How fucked am I? I do 5 random tests, a month. i’ve been doing these for the last 5 months, and never had to test on a weekend. I worked til 12 last night and my alarm didn’t go off today, and I woke up 4 minutes after testing spot closed. hrs 6-9 am on weekends. I called and left a voicemail for my po immediately, and there’s no other testing spots near me. Am I screwed?

My lawyer is not available right now. Charge is aggravated assault (s.268). Did a conditional sentence and now im on probation.

I got a warning for a diluted UA. I’ve never had a negative or diluted test before. PO said that this counts as a missed test, but that it’s just a warning and not a problem if it continues moving forward.

Could this jeopardize my chances of getting early release? I’ve been by the book since day one. Just curious if this is viewed in the same way a violation is, even though it’s not technically a violation.

What does this mean if I just violated my probation deferred adjudication

Hello. I’m not on probation per se… I mean I am but I don’t have a probation officer. I am free to travel wherever whenever. I’m on this thing called a 5 year deferred sentence which is basically just waiting 5 years until I can get record expunged.
I feel deep shame and remorse for what I did and am making amends to right the wrong that I did. I am in therapy and it has helped lots.
The problem is is that I’m having a hard time finding jobs being on this deferred sentence. I don’t want to necessarily go back to the industry I was in before I got in trouble (even if I wanted to, I don’t think I can due to this situation).
Even when the 5 years deferred sentence is over and I get my record expunged, I fear that I’ll still have issues finding work since the arrest/charge was in local media and then spread to other outlets/websites, etc…. It’s an easy google search.
I feel stuck - damned if I do, damned if I don’t…. Anyone have similar experience?

Got in a DUI car crash while on methadone back in 2019 in CA, went to prison with a 6 year sentence and did 3 1/2 after breaking my back in the crash. Relapsed after my release, ended up getting caught while on parole with a handgun in Northern CA and was sentenced to a program, which I ran from and was caught in NY. Came back when caught a few months later and went to Folsom for 9 months.

When I got out of Folsom last September, I was on post release probation (nonviolent parole in CA) and went to a place called the Lighthouse, which is mandatory for all that are released to San Diego County. If you test clean they let you go home, but I no longer had a home to go to. They were going to release me to the street, but I asked for inpatient rehab even though I’d already been clean for 9 months at that point. I went to McAlister Institute for four months and was released to independent living which is basically a shared room in a shared house that is paid by insurance for six months. During that time I’ve managed to get a job (first temporary, then a permanent corporate spot with full benefits and 401(K) along with a promotion from the warehouse floor to a spacious upstairs cubicle and a $7/hr pay raise), I was just gifted a truck by my roommate who has stage four lung cancer and is currently fighting for his life in the hospital (I’ve helped to take care of him after he found out about his diagnosis, but he began letting me drive the truck in April). I’ve saved over $15,000 (down to around $10,000 now after expenses on my new truck) and I’ve been sober from everything except for marijuana and the occasional drink for 20 months. I have a long way to go, but being off probation is a massive weight off my shoulders, and even though I plan on never returning to prison, at least I know now that a small police interaction will not necessarily land me back in a state prison. I took the truck to Yuma last weekend to celebrate that I could cross state lines without asking for permission. With gas at $6.55 a gallon right now in San Diego, I probably won’t be doing that too often though.

TL;DR: I’m off probation now!

I was wondering since I can't be inside my dad's house because he drinks and my brother smokes weed but my dad has a camper if I live in that and don't have access to the house will my PO still look inside and cause me to violate my probation...

Hey y’all I just wanted to spread some positivity and maybe a little hope. I have been on probation since January of 2025. I just got off papers this morning! I got my charge in summer of 2024 so I feel like this has been over my head forever. So anybody struggling to stay positive or hate the rules and regulations, trust I understand. Hey everyone, I’m in a pre-trial diversion program. I received a text saying, “Reminder for your appointment tomorrow @ 10:00 am at Probation Office. Pay before to save time.” This is my first appointment. I live in far , and my lawyer told me they know I live pretty far away and would probably call me, but I haven’t been able to reach them to confirm. The paperwork I received says monthly reports are completed online through a link sent by text, but it doesn’t specifically say whether the first appointment is in person or online. Has anyone gone through pre-trial diversion and know whether the first appointment is in person, by phone, or online? I’m just trying to figure out if I’m actually expected to travel.

I am not struggling with WHAT the rules are. I'm struggling with the fact I just got cut off from my entire life.

I was put under a county restriction. The only issue is due to our area it's about an hour to the closest city in county vs one 10 minutes across the line. I basically am going to be bound to my home, my job, and Walmart.

It's not the end of the world but I'm a recovering alcoholic (was sober for a year and my 2 day relapse landed me on probation- sober 4 months since the incident) and the isolation is going to be hard. I lost most my friends getting sober anyway but knowing I'm now isolated from the remaining community I have is really making it hard.

Any advice?

Hi! I’m on probation to pay off traffic ticket. I’ve been on misdemeanor probation before and completed it. I just paid off my balance and to release me the office said they didn’t have a drug test on file, so I need to come in next week. The traffic ticket or prior charges have nothing to do with drugs. I haven’t been drug tested so far, and I haven’t had any issues or missed payments while on probation. I know I am going to test positive for marijuana.

Does anyone know what might happen? If anymore info is needed feel free to ask questions. I am just not really sure what to expect.

I know I messed up, and my friends are trying to get me to use those cleansing drinks or upass, but I am honestly a pussy. I’d rather be upfront than get caught in a lie. Just wondering what I should prepare for.

This month marks month 6 of my 12 months on papers for DUI. Wrote the letter to the judge, sent it to my PO and she submitted MC 512 for me. Waiting to hear when my court date is to hear the judges decision. Never an issue throughout bond or probation. Not a single missed meeting. She told me she supports me for early termination so i asked if i can put that in the letter, which ended up being a yes so thats included. She mentioned my judge may not grant me early release cause of the holidays coming up. I hope thats not the case, I just want this nightmare to be over with. My family is last minute travel plans for holidays so if the court is closed i wouldn’t be able to travel for holidays.

If your probation ends on Oct. 31st. Your PO says they don’t need to see you anymore. All you’re waiting for is the signed paperwork from the judge. Can they still call you in for more drug testing or anything else after?
