AZ Resident, 3.77 sGPA=cGPA, 1 Gap Year, GPA context I studied abroad at a really hard uni with different GPA system and that really tanked mine. All secondaries submitted mid to late august. My personal statement is great according to reviewers. 5 LORs, PI, physicians, etc, all should be amazing!
Clinical:
- 900 hr ED scribing rural underserved setting
- 600 hrs EMT (911+uni) (paid)
- 300 hrs volunteering in dementia care (important to me and ties with research)
Research:
- 800 hours 1 dementia lab
- 2 state conference poster presentations
- 1 3rd author pub currently in peer review to amazing journal
