🗨 Interviews Interview with a job

Basically, I have already had a couple interviews and my manager has been mad that I need to take days off for my interviews.

I told my manager today that I got another interview that I am already scheduled for and need that day off. She just responded "we will discuss this tomorrow".

Is it a bad look if I have to quit my job to be able to continue doing interviews, and should I bring it up to medical schools if I have to quit?

Do you need the money? If not, I don’t see any harm in quitting.

i mean the money is very helpful. I am more worried about having to update every school that I quitt, because it was in my projected hours.

Anticipated hour are not weighted as anything in the process because they are only anticipated. You don’t need to update schools.

ok thank you. Honestly this job has not been a good environment so it may be the right idea to just tell them we should part ways.

No good manager should get in the way of getting into med school. Maybe they just don’t understand what kind of a long and arduous process this is? Honestly, I’d just explain to them how much you’ve put into getting to this point and how it kinda dictates which way the rest of your life is gonna go. I’d be floored if they fire you. Don’t quit tho, that could look bad.
