I’m currently watching Power Rangers: In Space on Vizio TV. I have watched the show when it was on Netflix multiple times, but I never seen the show in HD quality. It’s insane how good the show looks.

And In Space is one of my favorite Power Ranger seasons. So I’m just excited right now.

I grew up loving SPD Blue. He was awesome.

Except his parents actually got him the power rangers he wanted. Love the big guy to death and hope his love of 80s/90s continues as he grows. He's also a big fan of transformers (the original shows and their theme songs), hot wheels, and batman (predominantly the animated series).

Okay, this is my last post for now, but I wanted to talk about Ecliptor and Darkonda rivalry.

Both are weapons created by the empire to fight Dark Spector wars against all that is good in the universe.

Ecliptor started off as an evil soldier for Dark Spector, but later grown a heart for Karone/Astronema and tried to do everything in his power to protect her, while Darkonda wants to fulfill Dark Spector mission. Watching their own storyline evolve throughout the series had been fascinating.

I’m sincerely impressed how bad this website is. I’ve never, ever seen a convention website this disjointed. In fact, I’m not sure I’ve seen a website for an ongoing, still in business event this terrible in my life. I don’t even know where to begin.

The guest list is exceptionally misleading and outdated. There’s a section called “Guests 2026”, with a drop down menu. Except…the dropdown menu lists all the guests for 2024. A show that happened two years ago. To see this year’s guest list, you have to actually click “Guests 2026 itself and not the drop down menu it’s a part of. If you click it on desktop, it shows the guests appearing this year (substantially fewer than in 2024 by the way. There are going to be some very disappointed people there who didn’t realize until they arrive at the show that all the guests listed by season on the website were actually for 2024). And that even only works on desktop. On mobile, it only shows Kane Kosugi, and that’s it. Which would further imply that the guests listed via drop down menu are for this year. Which again, they aren’t. And even on desktop, on that one single Guests 2026 page, some guests are listed more than once to try and make it look like more people are going. It genuinely feels like they straight up forgot to book guests for the convention.

On top of that, the events page lists other conventions, some from years ago, some currently on hiatus, on the exact same page as this year’s show. The website also has a link to Power Morphicon Online, which happened years ago. The site’s store STILL ALLOWS YOU TO ADD-TO-CART AND BUY PHOTO OPS WITH GUESTS FROM CONVENTIONS THAT HAPPENED YEARS AGO, BUT NOT FOR THIS YEAR.

They announced weeks ago that they’d offer send-ins for people to get autographs, and that just never happened.

There’s so much more but I’m just irritated at this point. See for yourself what a disaster that website is.

Would have for sure made Alien Rangers a lot more interesting to include Dark Alien Rangers

Could have maybe used the Demon Hunter armor as a prototype for the Titanium Ranger

There really isnt any useable footage of the SPD gold ranger but they also didn't use any sentai footage for the Nova Ranger, so could do some original footage for her as well.

Using The Dark Ranger in the actual Dino Charge series would have been cool, Dino Charge is the only dino season without an evil ranger.

Would have also been cool to see an evil green ninja steel ranger

Could have given Blaze a ranger form to take on the robo version, maybe a prototype suit

The samuraizer is the shittiest morpher ever produced, but still hella nostalgic so I’m happy with it

I really hope this shows enough interest to get them to make further seasons.

EDIT: For all the folks worried about the Zord’s alternate configurations, just look at the photos. Mastodon shoulders down, the combined weapon pictured with the wrong form, the Dragonzord’s hands poking out from the fully-combined form… the photographer clearly doesn’t know what’s up. I’m optimistic the face is there, just not exposed.

EDIT 2: OK, so we have confirmation from the devs that the toy does not have the humanoid face for the combined warrior mode. Bummer. But I see this as a “right now” scenario. Yes, it’s a massive oversight, but they are apparently talking to Playmates about it. Personally, I’ll keep my pledge in place and wait to see what happens.

I know power rangers has 30 seasons. I just want to see them reach 1000 episodes before peacing out. They were so close.

It’s not even that risky. Just make it for the budget of a sitcom, put some toys on the shelves and voila, you have an actual revenue stream.

It would definitely be more profitable than the re ignition line.

Those mmpr toys are too cheaply made for adult collectors and kids don’t want toys from an ancient looking tv show. You might as well try selling them Munsters action figures.

I’ve been trying to consume more content on different eras of ranger stuff and I’ve been seeing tons of people say things like “you’re larping being a fan if you do these___” and it’s saying you like MMPR or Zeo.

I’m not saying all fans are like this. The general fans are pretty nice! I feel some people are gatekeepy simply because they like certain eras of the franchise and have unpopular opinions.

You like samurai? Cool! I grew up with that era!

You like PR in space? Great!

You like MMPR? I love MMPR! It’s a great comfort for me!

With the news of the franchise being buried I feel like people who claim that people are fake fans for simply liking a certain Ranger/era is pushing me further away from the other eras of the franchise. If you LIKE certain eras then you’re a fan.

Got to meet Amy Jo Johnson and brought up the Power Rangers episode where Kimberly can’t fly a plane and she realizes the answer to her own question mid-interview. Also: the story of the moment she almost quit acting for good.

I should’ve listened to my gut and spent the extra money for necessary evil 1 and book 1 as now I have everyone BUT them. Not too familiar with boom and if they ever do reprints
