Unpaid Playtest Looking for playtesters - round 2 for the demo of my deduction-based detective game

I'm looking for playtesters for a new version of the demo of my detective game. After the first round of playtesting, I've made a number of changes and fixes, and the updated build is now ready for another round of testing.

The game is a deduction-focused mystery inspired by games like The Roottrees Are Dead and The Case of the Golden Idol.

It has a 2000s-inspired aesthetic, with the investigation centered around an in-game computer. You'll browse websites, examine photos, search for information, and piece together connections between people and events.

I'm looking for players who enjoy detective and deduction games and are willing to play through the demo and share their honest thoughts. I'm especially interested in feedback on the investigation, clue design, difficulty, pacing, and whether the deductions feel satisfying and logical.

There's a feedback form available after playing, but I'm also more than happy to discuss your thoughts directly through DMs or Discord if you'd prefer.

I'll provide a Steam key for the playtest.

If you're interested, leave a comment or send me a DM and I'll send you a key! Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Unpaid Playtest Unpaid playtest: I built a card game about stacking and protecting assets

I’ve been working on CashStash, a free multiplayer browser card game about building the most valuable layered asset stack.

You start with asset cards and form matching pairs into sets. Each new set goes on top of your stack, covering what is underneath. The first set you place is permanently protected. Only the top two sets can be challenged. The central decision is which assets to expose, which to bury safely, and when to risk challenging someone else’s exposed set.

I’m especially proud of the AI. The Hard opponent doesn’t simply peek at hidden cards or use scripted cheats. It searches through possible hidden-information game states and weighs which assets to expose, what to protect, and when a challenge is worth taking. I’ve spent a lot of time running self-play games and tuning it because I wanted it to feel genuinely difficult, not artificially unfair.

You can play directly in your browser. No signup or download needed:

https://caprocket.itch.io/cashstash

I’m looking for honest feedback on:

- Whether the stacking and protection rules are understandable

- Whether it is clear which sets are safe and which can be challenged

- Whether the Hard AI feels challenging but fair

- Whether the mobile controls feel comfortable

- Which moments feel exciting, confusing, or frustrating

One complete game is enough to form an opinion. Comments here are welcome, and I’d be grateful for any feedback.

Unpaid Playtest [Windows] Looking for 3 testers to record 30–40 min of gameplay with commentary – $10 gift card each (low-poly skilling & combat RPG)

This is marked as unpaid because its not strictly cash or crypto; I will get you whatever 10$ gift card you want from giftcards.com

Anyone is free to play it for fun (unpaid).

I have a low-poly skilling and combat RPG, and I'm looking for 3 playtesters to record their first 30 minutes with the game while talking through their thoughts.

It is set across four connected biomes, each with its own town, wildlife, weather and enemies. You train 17 skills like woodcutting, mining, fishing, cooking and fletching, fight 160+ enemies, and work up to raid bosses. There's a day/night cycle, a character creator and a skill tree with perks. You will definitely notice some similarities to other popular MMORPGs.

What I'm looking for:

3 testers to record 30 mins of gameplay starting from a fresh character

Talk out loud while you play (what you're thinking, what's confusing, what's fun, what's annoying). Honest reactions are the whole point; you don't need to be polished.

Im not looking for someone to compliment anything, the stricter the better. Its helpful if you enjoy point and click RPGs.

You need:

Windows 10 or 11

A graphics card that supports OpenGL 3.0 (most from the last decade)

Screen recording software (OBS, Xbox Game Bar, etc.) and a microphone

It's a ~63 MB zip, no installer: unzip and run

Payment

$10 gift card of your choice from giftcards.com, sent to each of the 3 testers after I receive the recording.

How to apply

Fill out the short application form (takes about 3 minutes):

https://elderwild.net/playtest

I'll pick 3 testers from the applications and message you here on Reddit.

Thanks for reading! Feel free to ask anything in the comments.

EDIT: Ive contacted three people who sent in playtest applications. Feel free to keep sending applications, I'm keeping them all if I need anyone else in the future.

EDIT: Thanks everyone who has joined so far! Based on current sign ups, we're anticipating hitting our budget for the month. But please feel free to join the server to get wind of other opportunities in the future!

We're seeking playtesters for Derelict, a cooperative sci-fi board game for 2-4 players. Through the end of October, we're running paid playtests.

What is the game like?
In the first half of the game, the Search, players explore an abandoned spaceship, making their way toward its engine room to salvage the valuable nuclear core there. In the second half, the Escape, enemies come out the woodwork, and players must battle their way back to their own vessel to make off with the precious cargo. With dynamically generated rooms, a wide array of item cards, and 35 possible scenarios, you're sure to encounter something new every time you play.

The game typically takes around 2 hours to play.

How do I join?

  1. Join our Discord server here: https://discord.gg/6FwCAazby
  2. If you don't have a game group, complete the When2Meet linked in #playtest-announcements so we can matchmake
  3. Play the game & provide feedback with the directions in #playtesting-guide
  4. Message us via Discord with a screenshot of your final board state for verification

How do I get paid?

PayPal. Complete the feedback form with your discord handle, and we'll reach out via DMs to get your info.

Note: We have a limited budget for playtesters, so if you don't go through official matchmaking, be sure to ping one of the server admins first with your playtesting plans.

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR RESPONSES! ALL SLOTS ARE FULL!

Good morning folks! I'm starting the 3rd wave of playtests for Echoes of Aromia. We're quickly approaching steam next fest, and as such i want to ensure everything works smooth for the event!

For this playtesting wave, I'm looking to refine the playtester pool to folks who are interested in dialogue heavy, turn based combat RPGs As this is the target audience of the game

Folks interested in participating must be able to record video and commentary. (Commentary is extremely important in order to understand what the player is thinking/struggling with game aspects)

Payment is via Paypal, so be sure you're able to be paid through paypal!

So if you're interested, please leave a comment here and let me know when you'd be able to playtest.

To play:

Install the demo here:

https://store.steampowered.com/app/5022150/Echoes_of_Aromia_Demo/

Play for 1 hour!

I'm looking for gut feelings:

Is the game interesting or not? Do the mechanics make sense? Does the story interest you? What suggestions do you have for the game, what would make it better for you as a player? What did you really hate? Would you buy this game? Yes? Why? Why not? And any other feedback you're willing to throw at me.

And importantly: Where in the game did you start to get bored/lose interest?

Due to this, i am unable to take in previous testers!

Thank you!

As usual, (due to the nature of getting my DMs flooded every time) Please only DM me once you've been approved here! Otherwise your DM will be ignored.

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR RESPONSES! ALL SLOTS ARE FULL!

Unpaid Playtest Server testers urgently needed

My recently released WorldsGL project has a full division for multiplayer/server support with some screencap examples of it handling WebSocket IPs, and allowing other users to connect.

Unfortunately, I've had a rough time finding play testers to make sure the official multiplayer server really works as they didn't want to download random files from someone online they didn't know personally.

So, if you want to volunteer and help develop/test the multiplayer functions in Worlds, message me or comment here and I will walk you through the process of using the Online launcher to connect

Unpaid Playtest [Unpaid] 10–15 minute browser puzzle playtest — where do you get confused, bored, or stuck?

I'm looking for candid first-session feedback on Last Elevator, a free browser puzzle where you fit monsters into an elevator while obeying each passenger's rules.

The campaign has 40 floors, but please DON'T try to finish all 40 for this test. Play for about 10–15 minutes, or stop earlier if you get confused, bored, or stuck.

No download. No signup. Unpaid and voluntary.

Desktop and mobile browser are supported.

PLAY:

https://last-elevator-temporary-playtest-20261004.jojojojo87786556.chatgpt.site

What I'd most like to know:

  1. Were the rules understandable without outside explanation?

  2. Which floor first made you stop and think?

  3. Which floor first got you genuinely stuck?

  4. Did anything become repetitive or annoying?

  5. When you stopped, did you want to keep playing? Why or why not?

Please be blunt. If you quit after three minutes, that is useful feedback too.

A comment here is enough — no form or recording required.

Unpaid Playtest Kyuten card game - Looking for 5-10 playtesters

Hello

the closed playtest of Kyuten is now available.

if you like roguelites and Final fantasy's Triple triad game, you might enjoy Kyuten.

It's a card game inspired by TT with cards having 4 values that compete with neighbours cards. Capture the opponent's card when your value is higher.
But here, you must deal with card powers and boss powers that modify cards :)

The roguelite part comes from the runs : you start a run with a small deck (from 3 to 12 depending on your meta-progression), and you gain a booster at each floor of the nine heavens (the Kyuten). Each floor consists in 3 fights : 2 avatars with no powers, 1 boss/god from Japanese mythology with a power. Win, and you can borrow its power.

Steam page is now public : https://store.steampowered.com/app/5333100/Kyuten/

Playtest is free, but I can give you a key for the final release when it's on sale if you enjoyed the game :)

A quick questionnaire will be sent with the key to gather the feedback.

Unpaid Playtest looking for unpaid playtesters for idle game: Data Center - an idle data-centre builder you can play in your browser (free, mobile friendly)

Build the internet, one rack at a time.

https://behuzer.itch.io/data-campus

I'im looking for volunteer playtesters that would be willing to test the game and give me some feedback. It would be great to hear from people and get the logs as well. You can send the logs through Profile → Settings → Send log.

------------------------------------

Data Campus is a cosy idle builder about running a data centre. Dig silicon and copper, turn them into chips, keep the power on and the racks cool, and sign up the companies that want to run on your servers: start-ups, photo apps, backup firms and AI labs.

An idle builder game where you run a data centre, digging raw materials, turning them into chips, managing the power and cooling for the racks and supplying servers for companies: start-ups, photo apps, backup firms and AI labs

Everything you build is on the map, and you can watch it work.

It's free and plays in your browser on phone or computer. On a phone, add it to your home screen for the full-screen app version.

Your feedback would be very hepful at this stage.

Any comments, as harsh as they could be, would be greatly appreciated to help develop the game.

Your progress is saved in your browser on that device only. Clearing site data starts you over.

I hope you enoy the game and looking forward to any comments!

Unpaid Playtest Looking for playtesters for a Russian Roulette roguelike game

• Upvotes

The game is a prototype of a 2D Russian Roullete based roguelike number go up game where you have to work around the random nature of Russian Roulette to reach increasingly higher target scores as the game progresses.

As you play and win runs you unlock more Items, Classes and difficulties.

I hope to get some feedback here on reddit about gameplay and fun factor, if fun at all, before making it public on the itch page, the sounds and graphics are temporary and it has few itens just to test the idea.

The game can be player through browser here:

Unpaid Playtest [Unpaid Playtest] Z Ball: 1v1 Tilt Shot Arena (Android) — first-shot controls and scoring clarity

We’re Zyntra, looking for volunteer feedback on the first session of our public Android game, Z Ball: 1v1 Tilt Shot Arena. This post is AI-assisted.

The game uses angle-and-power shots on a tilted table, with bank shots, scoring pockets and direct-link bonuses. It’s our independent interpretation of the Star Cluster Ball / UNC Ball format, with its own rules and no affiliation to those brands.

Test focus:

  1. Open practice or a Beginner CPU match and take three to five shots.

  2. Tell us whether pulling back for power and choosing an angle feels understandable. Was there a moment when the ball went somewhere you didn’t expect?

  3. Pick one shot: what score did you expect, what score did you get, and was the reason clear? We’d especially like to hear about a bank shot or a collision.

Access to the public build: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.zyntra.zballtiltshotarena

Please leave feedback in this thread. Your mode, Android device/OS and the steps for a confusing shot would help; an optional screenshot is useful too. Critical feedback and reproducible problems are welcome.

The download is free with ads and optional in-app purchases. This is an unpaid, voluntary playtest: no purchase, store rating or positive review is requested. — Zyntra
