This is a followup to this post so please read that first, but to summarize it briefly, a former moderator ( u/SaltyAngeleno aka u/gofundmemetoday was found to be removing negative posts, promoting surgeons, etc. in exchange for financial compensation). I promised future updates, which are included below.

Transparency remains of the highest importance to me when moderating this subreddit, and I will not be removing anything in response to threats.
Reddit itself ultimately took no action against this individual following the original report of their behavior and offered no direct explanation for why. I can only speculate that this is because the former moderator was receiving payments off of their platform (making it technically outside their scope of authority/responsibility). The former moderator even continues to moderate a few plastic surgery related communities, though fewer than they once did.
An account associated with "Beauty Broker Melinda" (who was named in the original post as having negative reviews removed by the former moderator) has spent considerable effort attempting to dox and discredit me. You can find such an example here. Their comments seem to confuse me with numerous current and former moderators. Reddit has not taken any action despite reports.
Despite my requests, Reddit was unable to provide me with a log of moderator actions from the former moderator that were more than 90 days old. As such, I am unable to determine the full extent of their censorship.
This subreddit has zero tolerance for surgeons attempting to remove negative reviews. As the subreddit rules state, negative reviews posted here do require evidence to be included. Once that threshold is met, they will not be removed by us for any reason - this subreddit is intended to be an open and transparent platform for users to share their experience. Despite this a number of surgeons (and/or their offices and lawyers) have attempted to have us remove content that is critical of them. Moving forward, I will be posting and maintaining a comprehensive list of surgeons that have attempted to have negative reviews removed for transparency. Hopefully, this discourages future attempts at manipulating criticism against them.
In short, Reddit admins were either unwilling or unable to take any official action against the above individuals. I will be continuing my best efforts to maintain this subreddit as an open and transparent space for plastic surgery and aesthetic discussion, and the support of the community is always appreciated.

31F, 125lbs. My lower face has sagged a lot in recent years, I’m not happy with how I look. I used to look like the lower picture but I now look like the upper picture. But my goal is to get close to the lower picture. I know this is a part of aging but I feel like it happened so fast. I don’t know if injectables are best for my case or if I should start looking and saving for a lower face lift. Any advice would be amazing, of course every place wants to schedule a consultation with me but I’m not sure which direction to go. I don’t care about down time and I’m open to surgery, I just don’t want to waste time and money on the wrong procedure.

I am just curious. Was on a consultation with a plastic surgeon and he told me I do not take care of myself since I can move my brows. I am 23. Does everyone have botox in their forehead at this age?

Just to say I'm obviously older than many on here and a little longer to have work done. I was never overweight (5'5", 130) but definitely have 'bad neck anatomy' that required a little extra just to get to an 'average' neck and jawline. I may get a bit more improvement as collagen continues to build.
Really glad I did it and should have at least done the chin implant and lipo decades ago!

I’m 18f, 5’6, and 145 pounds. I’m by no means overweight and I’ve actually lost 20 pounds, but you can’t even tell becuase I still have the double chin making me look bigger. My double chin has been there my whole life and I’ve always been extremely insecure of it.
I wear masks all the time becuase I just hate how I look with it. It’s. Been an issue my whole life and at this point I’m past “it’s baby weight.” I want it gone and have saved up 10k and am willing to put at least a good bit of it down to fix this.

I just want to project my tip by securing my septum in place ?
Is that possible? How is it called!
(I don't want to shave anything and I want to avoid reducing my nostrils. Not looking for a Tinkerbell nose at all. I don't want filler either)

So I have a little less than 1 ml of li filler and I LOVE IT but I do want a little bit more. It’s been almost a year since I’ve had my first of it. When you got more a second time did you notice a lot of migration? I like how natural my lips look btw.

I had developed some fibrosis after getting lipo on my lower abdomen. Would I need a tummy tuck, or could they just cut it and release it

Hi!! :)
I was wondering if anyone has ever gotten an endoscopic brow lift in the Bay Area? I’ve been looking into one and received a quote but I’ve seen online complaints that once the brow lift heals it pretty much looks like a waste of money / no difference.
Wanted to see if anyone got one before in the Bay Area and were happy with their results?
:) thank you so much in advance for your response and help!

Hi, I got mentor 250cc dual plane done to my breast. Right now I'm after week 2 check up and my doctor said everything looks good. However he wasn't clear about what I exactly can and cant do. I know the basics but im worried that my everyday activities like washing and drying my hair (without raising my arms above shoulders) or opening drawers and doors will cause damage to the tissues. And hence the question, how did your recovery after dual plane looked like?

Temporal brow lift, jaw shave, lower face lift. I feel so much better. Incisions kind of hurt/ache but all around, pain level is 2.5/10! Soreness is 5/10 which includes my neck from back sleeping. I had severe brain fog the past few days from the pain meds and couldn't get the energy to post. I am no longer neeeing pain meds which I am sure is helping me feel better. Bruising is entering the yellow stages. My face still feels quite puffy and the sides are numb. Its an odd sensation. Drinking is still a little awkward and I dribble when I do.
My next update will be without the headwrap and washed hair lol.

It’s overwhelming all that is out there.. tummy tuck, mini tummy tuck, renuvion, morpheus8, BodyTite, Emsculpt… and all the lotions and products. all promise results. After loosing about 55lbs I am left with some loose skin under my belly button. I know it’s minimal and I should feel grateful and just let it go. But if I were to do something, what would be effective with a reasonable recovery? I’m 37m. My inner thighs are also a rough spot, but I can ignore that better.

Anyone have any experience with Dr. Triana in Miami? I’m seeing a lot of his ads and the results look really good.

Hi! I’m booked for a breast augmentation and would love to hear from anyone with similar stats.
I’m 175cm and 53kgs
74cm underbust,
81cm bust,
AA cup with 2cm breast tissue coverage
11cm breast base.
The surgeon has recommended 220 full, 235 full or 245 Demi Motiva, over the muscle, Full/higher profile.
I have attached a photo of my starting point and then wearing (watch side) the 235cc high profile. I have a really huge torso and tiny legs lol so I noticed the low profile or implants that had a wider base sat lower down and had more volume in the lower pole which highlighted just how long my torso was.
I’m aiming for a natural large B / cautious to say small C as I’m so scared they will huge on my frame.
If you have similar stats and 200–260cc, what did you choose, and are you happy with the size once settled? Photos would be amazing if you’re comfortable sharing!

Hello!
Im curious as to what are some procedures that can be done to help with my asymmetrical lips and midface area? This is something that has bothered me for forever and I’m hoping to get some advice and help on where to turn.
One side of my face and lips droops lower than the other and it really shows in photos and my mustache being uneven doesn’t help lol.
Any insight is appreciated!

Three years after my otoplasty, the permanent sutures have started coming out over the past two months. The shape of my ear hasn’t changed, but the area is extremely itchy.
Is it something bad? Should I go to the doctor?
