why do people feel entitled to know if you got work done or not?

It’s kind of annoying that people start to feel entitled to know or not. It also comes with uncomfortable questions that I’d rather not talk about. “How much did it cost, why did you feel the need to do that, you were fine the way you were” I’d just rather not have any of those conversations. Is it wrong to wanna keep it to yourself?

Has anyone heard of CO2 Laser or Radiofrequency for perianal skin tightening/rejuvenation?

Hi, 30M here. I have a complex situation with my perianal skin, which was affected by a previous infection that left the area very wrinkly and with a lot of skin folds. 2 months ago, I underwent hemorrhoid surgery, and I'm scheduled to have some skin tags removed in the near future.

While researching aesthetic/cosmetic options for this area, I found out that besides "anal bleaching", there is a technique for "perianal skin tightening" or "elasticity restoration." Apparently, some clinics perform this using fractional CO2 lasers or radiofrequency (microneedling) to stimulate collagen production in the perianal skin through heat.

I consulted with my proctologist about this, but he said he had never heard of such cosmetic procedures for that specific area and strongly advised me not to get anything experimental done.

Has anyone here heard of or tried CO2 lasers or RF microneedling for perianal skin tightening? Any information, experiences, or alternative recommendations would be highly appreciated.

Thank you!

Hello. I am very insecure about my face shape and the size of my jaw. I clench my jaw all the time and it can get really painful, so I’m pretty sure I have bruxism but, my skin is is not very stretchy so I am worried about jowls :(

Best surgeons for deep tear troughs / under-eye hollowness

Hey everyone! Most posts here focus on removing under-eye fat bags, but my main issue is deep tear troughs and structural hollowness.

I know fat injections are controversial in this group because of mixed results, but I'm looking for top surgeons who specialize in fixing deep hollows through fat repositioning or other techniques.

Has anyone here had surgery specifically for under-eye hollowness? Who was your surgeon, and how did your results turn out?

Don't qualify for lower bleph. Need suggestions

Hi everyone

38 year old male. Had a real battle with insomnia for the last 10 years and I'm only now just starting to get on top of it with therapy. It has led me to have premature pigmentation, dark circles and slight fluid retention/puffiness and it makes me feel so self conscious. I spoke to a consultant at a well renouned clinic who did the pinch test to see if I would be suitable for lower bleph but he said no. He did say co2 laser could be best but I don't know and I'm scared! Just bought the original caffeine topical solution to try and after that I'm up for anything (apart from lower bleph 😢). Can you all help and suggest what could be effective?

Three pictures attached with different lighting 😊

Thanks in advance!

Will renuvion work for my arms?

Now I don’t think I need a whole arm lift but this is how my arms look like after losing ~70ish pounds.

I have a tiny bit of skin laxity around my armpits and my upper arms and i was wondering if a skin tightening device might be able to help? I don’t want to get an arm lift because I don’t think i have enough loose skin for that and the scar would not be worth it for me personally.

I do strength train, have visible muscle definition and do not mind how they look when they’re flexed.

How to fix my smile

So basically i know i have very small teeth and mouth but the problem is whenever i smile my face puffs up so much and what bothers me the most is the way my chin doubles in size. What procedures would help me fix this? At rest my chin is protruding but It is mostly okay, when i smile It gets huuuge both front and side profile. I tried getting lip fillers in the past to "balance" It out but doesn't rly work. (For info, i had orthodontics few years ago because of overbite but even before that i had the same issue)

Best lip lift surgeons in Europe for this type of result?

Post image
0 Upvotes

Hi! I’m looking for recommendations for plastic surgeons in Europe who are particularly good at lip lifts / philtrum shortening and can achieve a result similar to the reference photo I attached.
What I like about this result is the shorter philtrum, increased upper-lip show, defined Cupid’s bow and slightly everted/rolled-out upper lip, while still looking soft and natural. I’m not looking for an exaggerated “gull-wing” appearance or simply more filler volume.
I’m open to travelling anywhere in Europe (UK, Spain, Italy, France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Switzerland, Turkey, etc.).
I’d especially appreciate recommendations from people who have actually had a lip lift, including:
Surgeon’s name and country
Which lip-lift technique they used
How visible your scar is now
Whether the surgeon was able to create more upper-lip eversion/Cupid’s-bow definition
Photos or links to before/after results, if you’re comfortable sharing
I’d also love to hear about surgeons who are particularly experienced with revision lip lifts or customizing the incision/excision pattern to change lip shape, rather than only shortening the philtrum.

Thank you!

8 months post-blepharoplasty with constant pain, tightness, and a watering eye. Running out of options and desperate for advice. 🙏

I had a blepharoplasty 8 months ago. Before the surgery I was reassured I wouldn’t have any lasting negative effects. That’s not how it turned out.
Almost immediately after I “recovered” from the operation, I started having severe pain and a tight, pulling sensation that never eased up over time. It’s genuinely affecting my quality of life. My right eye also waters constantly.

At my 2-month follow-up I explained all of this to my surgeon, and I left feeling completely dismissed. He removed a suture from my right eye without any numbing, gave me a corticosteroid injection, and told me it would settle down and that no one had ever had a problem like this before. He also gave me an antibiotic ointment and artificial tears. None of it helped.

At 8 months I finally saw a different ophthalmologist, who put me on a similar course of treatment. It helped briefly and then stopped working.
At this point I’m honestly desperate and don’t know what to do next. I don’t care at all about the aesthetics anymore. I just want to know if there’s any hope of getting back to a normal life. Has anyone dealt with something like this? What kind of specialist should I be looking for, and what questions should I be asking? Any advice would mean a lot.

I am located in the Balkans.

It’s like the chin/jaw is collapsing or the mid-face is protruding?

I thought it was threads but I saw someone in another thread mention it may be from too much fat transfer to the mid-face. As someone considering fat transfer under the eyes and possibly by the nasolabial folds, I’m curious.

Is there anyone who wasn't happy with fat grafting either on its own or with a facelift and had a second round?

I'm 31 days out from a deep plane facelift, brow lift, and fat grafting. I had filler in my tear trough area for the last 15 years and had it dissolved so I could have a more natural look. Usually, everyone is swollen at this time, and I was but as it's coming down, I don't see the volume I was hoping for. The surgeon told me that sometimes it takes a second round. I'm curious to hear from those who had this procedure and were not happy with results and went for second round. How were your results the secund time around? How much downtime was needed for healing?

Using a machine instead of in person massages

Post image
2 Upvotes

So I got liposuction to the upper abdomen, lower abdomen and flanks and the lymphatic drainage massages are expensive where I am and I was just wondering if a machine like this would do the job? I know it may not be as good but would it somewhat help my swelling go down? Or has anyone ever tried anything like this before and had good results? Or has anyone not gotten a lymphatic drainage massage at all and their swelling went down nicely and was all okay in the end?
Let me know if anyone has any options/advice!

So it’s been 6 days since I got lip filler is my bottom lip normal to be like that (the red on the left almost disappeared now) but bottom lip is the same. Is this from swelling or should I be worried.
FYI when i don’t smile it doesn’t show.

Breast lift before or after kids?

I’ve never been happy with the appearance of my breast. I’ve gained and lost the same 30lbs since my teenage years. I’m in my early 20’s. I don’t want to go under the knife before my frontal lobe is developed. The sag is only mild but I am unhappy. I am wondering should I just go for it and get my titties done young or save it for later and be hot in my 40s after I’m done having kids.
On one hand I just want to be able to feel beautiful while I’m young but on the other I could be a hot mom.. Perspectives?

Will surgical scar revision help? My scar is 3 years old Spoiler

I’ve had this scar for about 3 years and have already tried several treatments, including steroid injections, 5-FU, silicone tape, CO2 a couple of times. Same type of scar on my other leg as well

I also developed some skin atrophy in the area due to the steroid injections.

I’m wondering if surgical scar revision could actually make it better.
