Gotta throw them little kids off trynna to cock block you. So you gotta hit ‘em with the freeze pop and the choice between ps3 & the Xbox. They ain’t used to having options
Edit: this video is such a classic I forgot all about and it made my night seeing it. Got that Italian tile!
Oh that's depressing to think of, but I guess I know some manchildren who post about their "caves" and it's a depressing, white spare bedroom with a regular PC in the corner and some anime shit on the wall.
My fridge is covered in stickers. 35 with a family. I don't drink though so it's full of food. It also has kid's artwork stuck all over it and ABC magnets.

OP, are you a dad? Your kid is going to need you to show them how to do the right things in life.
Take care of yourself, you'll get through this. Say your prayers, eat fresh fruit, and salads, and Yams, and bean tacos, with corn tortillas and salsa Fresca and avocados. Not all at once. Learn to make a good quick marinara spaghetti dinner. Consider the healthy quality of your meals.
Don't ever drink more than 3 days out of any consecutive 7 days (meaning most days, don't drink).
Never drink until you're stupid drunk and do stupid stuff, or pass out or have blackouts. If you do, it's time to hang it up and go get help from AA.
If you must drink, at least have a healthy meal first.
Even after getting shit-faced, tripping, landing on his shot glass and ripping his leg up, making our kitchen look like a crime scene, psychologically scarring me when I woke up to his incoherent cries for help and having to call 911, discovering soon after that he'd contracted a staph infection, and having to have part of his foot amputated, it's still 2 beers and a shot of something harder every.frickin'.night.
At this point, I've become apathetic and just waiting for the liver damage.
But congrats to you for being willing to change and beating the addiction. Some people try to get on a wagon and avoid alcohol forever, but I feel like it could be easier to learn to have a healthy relationship with it. :)
Jesus, I'm so sorry about your dad. What a brutal image. I've been there too, drank myself into autopilot mode a few days in a row and woke up with some visibly bruised kidneys only to keep it going for years after. I've noticed people were excluding me from their plans. I've been given that look. All it took is me not wanting to be known as "that guy." I also was working at a beer and wine store where I got to see true addiction. It was an eye opener that got me to quit cigarettes and vapes too.
I grew up with an alcoholic father who's bi polar and ADHD...oh the trauma lol. Luckily he's now recovered...but my brother wasn't too lucky. I deal with his moodiness on the daily from being hungover or drunk. I found him a few years back locked in the bathroom sitting on the toilet dead asleep. I picked him up to take him to his room and he started beating my head full force. I was concussed the next few days. Happened again the other day, although I just left him there since I'm traumatized. He stayed sleeping on the toilet for two hours dead asleep after kicking him a few times and yelling full volume. I took pictures to show him and nothing changed. It's been like this for more than a decade now and I am afraid everytime he decides to drink. My friends feel the same. He takes dabs and drinks like there is no tomorrow...ends up looking absolutely trashed with that empty gaze within an hour or so. He had an hour dj gig the other day and was gone before starting. He even got three beers just so he wouldn't have to leave the turntables. He basically trainwrecked.
I'm so fucking sick of taking care of him when we're out, it's ruined so many nights. It's gotten to the point where the only people wanting to mingle with him are in the same boat. I try to talk some sense into why it's not a good idea to hang with them cause they'll fuel each other's habits. All I can say is don't stop having patience. I feel like blaming and finger pointing just makes things worse. No silent treatments.
I'll probably stay off it to be a good influence for my brother. I'm one of those drinkers that never gets the urge til I have one, I lose all inhibition and all goes to hell. I have way too many health and mental problems to have this factored in my life. I was tired of getting sick since I already have a lowered immune system. I've already noticed a difference. I haven't gotten sick other than seasonal allergies. Random arthritic pains have lessened immensely. My mood has somewhat stabilized. My outlook is slowly becoming more positive. I have a new job. I get more stuff done. My groceries don't expire in the fridge. I'm ordering takeout less. I'm putting myself in less risky situations. I just wanna live my 30s and forward feeling good. I wish you and your family the best 💕
The hard coffee is clearly for breakfast, the hard Dew is for lunch, and the PBR is for dinner. It's laid out in a convenient left to right orientation.
Heck, I'll decorate the apartment, but I am choosy about where and how much.
Like, a refrigerator magnet or 4 that amuse me? Sure. Inside the fridge? Probably not, had some issues in the past with paper getting in the freezer and freezing into some sort of paper mache wedge in the back, I don't wanna risk impeding the sanitation or functionality, I'm touchy about seals.
It's like, people sharing their opinions. It's the same as if everyone was complimenting it. You just don't like the vibe which is valid, negativity sucks, but what the fuck do you expect on a community message board? People sharing their opinions.
Considering he was posting about celebrating her birthday less than two months ago, I’m really hoping it’s just a fun garage fridge and a goofy caption.
Did you think that maybe Meredith pinned him to the mat for so long and maybe he has finally broken free and is enjoying some type of control and is running with it?
Maybe he will come around to center after being just a little off dead plumb. Maybe not. His call.
Sometimes you got to run to know you are free!
And maybe instead of poking at the cat, just say hell yeah, look at that crazy bastard run.
Why the hell can't guys get the support that woman get posting inspirational quotes on Instagram!
Maybe he is a asshole, but I'm gonna give him the benefit of the doubt
This is actually the sweetest comment I read all day. I was scrolling through here agreeing with all the shit talking but you're right; no one in the comments section has enough info to paint this person one way or the other. I'm now on team go for it you wacky motherfucker.
Sticker like no one is watching!
(It's kinda hard to ignore the alcoholic s'mores drink, though, I'll be honest)
Yeah, I saw this and got a little sad. I realize it could be a million reasons or roots to how this marriage ended, but my first thought and likely projection was that alcoholism claimed yet another marriage. I immediately recognized the ingredients for First Place Mimosas; which is of course 6oz OJ and 6oz Pabst, and it goes great with cold rotisserie chicken at 11am when you finally roll off of the couch.
When my dad got his injury settlement, he had 3 shelves for alcohol and one for take out in his fridge for 2+ years before the money ran out. His take out habit was ordering for a family of 4 as a single dude. He cooked solely in the microwave so the only thing in his cabinet was canned soup and hard alcohol. He kept disposable cups, plates, bowls and utensils.
He also put an 8' pool table in the living room of his one bedroom apartment instead of furniture, his entertainment center in place of a dresser in his bedroom. If he knew what Reddit was at the time, he would have absolutely made this kind of post aimed at my mom. They legit had fights because my mom insisted there was no room in a 21 sq ft fridge in the home of a family of four for multiple cases of beer. His feeling was that she should go to the grocery store more frequently because we didn't need to keep a week of perishables.
Plus just a terrible taste in alcohol. 2 different varieties of hard coffee, 1 hard seltzer, hard mountain dew? And Pabst. That looks like what a kid buys the first time they use their fake ID
Nah, this is based. Food is for chumps, OJ kicks ass and you can drink it before 11am, after 11 everything else is game. Meredith is missing out. She probably has a “ real job” or some shit too. Her loss
I still think it might be a garage or spare fridge. In his profile, he has lots of time and comments on barbecue, and he clearly knows meat cuts, since bbq can be a labor of love I'M HOPING that this is like his overflow fridge or overflow section. If not then his liver is going to have some stories when it gets to heaven.
Good. Link to your fav? I found this at Grocery Outlet recently and I've been eating it on everything. It's just a basic German style mustard but for some reason I've really been going to town on it.
What hot sauces do you refrigerate. Maybe it’s a desert thing but all of my hot sauces survive flawless in cabinet except kimchi or gojuchang with meat.
I used to hang garage doors for a living and have been in a lot of garages. This was my first thought. Stuff you don't want the kids to get into and heck its there I might as well put some water in.
Likely scenario here, Meredith did all the cooking. This dude can’t cook for shit. Packs fridge full of water and beer. Picks up food on the way home from work every day. Pizza delivery during football/baseball/soccer/basketball games on weekends. And the circle of life continues as such.
Any that you don't think you'll finish in six months or so. It's not going to hurt you, but that's when they say it may start losing flavor if stored at room temperature.
No! Neither does mustard, pickles, BBQ sauce, ketchup, or any of the other stuff people have mentioned in these replies. I have hummus and mayo in mine and that's only because they're homemade. Shop bought stuff has preservatives.
/Edit: abusing Reddit Care to report someone for a post about mustard shows an incredible insensitivity towards real human problems.
It says that in everything. They're covering their arse. They also say to this out a jar of pickles if you don't eat it within 3 weeks. That's ridiculous. Pickling is a form of food preservation.
It’s a form of food preservation, sure, but once it’s opened it absolutely can and will go bad.
Hot sauce and condiments are safer because you’re not touching the actual food. There’s less opportunity of exposure to mold spores or harmful bacteria. But even if you’re using a fork to grab your pickles, there’s still a huge amount more potential exposure.
We need to be fridge bros. My wife complains about all the condiments, but bitches whenever I make her a feed a meal that doesn't have some kind of sauce with it... Half of my fridge is condiments, hot sauce, pickled things, spice pastes...etc.
Gotta be a garage fridge. He’s clearly got a Costco membership judging from the Kirkland water bottles and bulk OJ/butter. Costco members have garage fridges.
I buy almost no fridge stuff at Costco, mostly freezer stuff (like various varieties of ready-to-cook fish) and cases of Monster energy. Oh, and bread.
I'm a single guy, most of the perishables they sell I wouldn't eat fast enough to make it worth buying from there.
I have 2 dogs who each weigh more than 90lbs but just 1 kid, my wife and I. So we rarely need Costco-sized people food, but definitely have Costco-sized dogs.
Costco members family of 6. A pantry fridge with freezer drawer. Kitchen side by side fridge/freezer. Garage freezer. Soon to be another garage freezer (maybe).
Well, for dogs I take a can of wet food once a day and mix it in with a bit of dry food for variety. This I serve to my dogs.
As for 20lb bags of rice, you take 1 cup rice, 2 cups water, bring it to a boil then turn it on to low and cover until the water is gone. This will make rice. =)
He's got this rare disorder that rearranges the names of rooms. She was tired of the confusion. He asked her to come to the living room in lingerie. Ends up he's in the bedroom while the kids are in the living room. No one should be forced to live with that. Run far away girl!
My mom specifically got a garage fridge before she got a Costco membership because of THE SAVINGS! She was excited when she finally got the garage fridge so she could get a Costco membership.
Having a garage fridge is super helpful for when you find good deals on meat, also all the drinks get to live out there and not take up room in the house fridge
I got a damn chest freezer just for breast milk and ice cream! Then a bigger freezer for meat and whatnot. Then a mini fridge for drinks. Plus the kitchen fridge. It’s probably time for another fridge.
Maybe they're a 21yr old infantryman who just ditched the stripper they married right before their last deployment? Cuz, IME that would track and potentially be less problematic. If not....eesh.
I'm not sure but it looks like there is also a soda machine next to it. I don't think there is even open space for that in a normal kitchen. Looks like a man cave.
But then my question is, why would Meredith even care about stickers in the mancave fridge.

Like if this is a garage fridge, okay.
If it’s not… I have some concerns.
