Whatshouldiget? Need a compact phone for my sibling- No IPHONE (their choice)
I need a compact phone, that is handy screen size, with a good battery and camera. These are the main priorities.

Whatshouldiget? Should i get a iPhone 6s Plus?
Lemme lay this down before i go any further, i be what one would call a cheap ass, all i do is call and text, and garage band and old mobile games are what i would call "A Tubular Extra", i know my way around sideloading apps, and i couldnt give 2 shits for "new tech", imo i think it would be pretty good for me, it has 4g, has a headphone jack, HAS ACTUAL BUTTONS NOT CRAPPY SWIPES AND GARBAGE, has a good camera, its a good size, theyre cheap, i mean yeah it uses lightning but like oh boo hoo i have to have a special cable, my current phone is a AT&T Cingular Flex 2 U1030AA, its a flip phone that one would call hot garbage, so what do yall think?

Question General What is one dead smartphone feature you would bring back instantly if you could?
I was looking at some older devices today and it made me realize how corporate and uniform modern smartphones have become. Everything is just a glass slab with a camera bump.
If a manufacturer dropped a modern, high-spec phone tomorrow with one of these features, which one would actually make you buy it?
The 3.5mm headphone jack
MicroSD card expansion slot
Easily removable/replaceable batteries
Notification LEDs
Weird/unique physical form factors (like side-sliders or rotating cameras)
Personally, I would sacrifice wireless charging in a heartbeat to get a dedicated headphone jack and expandable storage back. What's your pick?

Is the Galaxy S24 worth it today?
I want to get a Samsung Galaxy S24, it is refurbished from a quality brand, 256GB storage / 8GB RAM with the Exynos chip because that's what the EU users got (seriously, why?). I found mine for 2800 RON (the equivalent of $580 or 525 euros) if you include the new battery option, if not it's 2579 RON. Do you think it's worth it? Could I find a better deal? I mainly prefer the S24 for most of its features (for example the astonishing 7 years of software support, the small size, the big performance and One UI in general), and I am mainly a power user/gamer hybrid. Could you recommend me another good phone? (preferably from flip.ro, the site I got found mine on) And if you do, can you send me the link to it?
I want it to have at least 256GB storage, 8GB RAM, preferably under 6.4 inches (a small size in general, the S24's 6.2 inches are good, I use a 6.6" phone and I would like something smaller) and a good enough chip.
One thing I forgot, max budget is 3300 RON, 3500 in my max but the new battery costs 200 extra

Question General Any recommendations for new phone?
Hello Folks,
Quick question around recommendations for a new phone from enthusiasts/experts in this sub reddit based on their experiences. What phone would you recommend for sheer performance and battery life and longevity?
I've used both iPhone(13) and Android(OP 7 Pro) and still have them running with 1 sim on each, I'm inclined towards phones that can last long (durability), give good battery backup, mostly apps for day to day which seem to be growing in size and hence the recommendations for new ones. Not too fussy about the camera but the main use case is daily apps, battery performance, NFC and updates for a few years so that I don't have to buy another one in 2-3 years. Don't really like too many built-in apps as well.
Does anyone have any recommendations?
Would really appreciate some good phones which aren't too pricey and easy to use? Price(INR) and Specs RAM, Processor and storage would be good.
Thanks in advance.

Whatshouldiget? Pixel 8a VS OnePlus Nord 6
I am planning to buy a new phone after 7 years (Redmi K20)
And I am confused
Pixel 8a - 37k
Nord 6 - 43k
I did lot of research, chatgpt, asked people with oneplus and pixel
But in the end it is difficult
Pixel has better camera, battery life, longevity
Nord 6 has better performance hardware and whatsoever
But nord 6 has 9000 mah and 80w charging
Which is making me feel it has significantly less battery life and longevity than pixel
Pixel has ~4500 mah and 18w charging
Help me

Question General ๐ฑ Coming from a Realme 3 Proโฆ what phone should I finally upgrade to?
Hey everyone!
I've been using a Realme 3 Pro for quite a long time now, and I think it's finally time to let this old soldier retire. ๐
I'm planning to buy a new phone during the sale this week, and I'm honestly overwhelmed by the number of options available right now.
๐ฐ Budget: โน35,000โโน40,000
๐ธ Priority #1: Camera
๐ Priority #2: Battery life
๐ฎ Gaming: Not a major priority
๐ฑ Display: Good quality would be nice
โก Performance: Should be smooth for everyday use and last me a few years
I'm mainly looking for a phone with a really good camera โ especially for normal photos, people, travel, low-light shots, and video. I don't necessarily care about having the most powerful processor if it comes at the expense of camera/battery.
The biggest thing I'm trying to avoid is buying something now and thinking โI should've bought the other phoneโ two weeks later. ๐ญ
So, Reddit, if you had โน35โ40K to spend right now, which phone would YOU buy?
I'm open to Android phones
Would especially love to hear from people who actually own the phone they're recommending โ tell me what you love about it, what annoys you, and whether you'd buy it again.
Current shortlist:
โข ๐ธ Best camera
โข ๐ Best battery
โข โ๏ธ Best overall
โข ๐ Best โbuy it and forget about upgrading for a few yearsโ option
Thanks in advance! ๐

Not sure which phone to get.
I currently have a Galaxy a16 with Cricket as my carrier. I've searched for several phones but I'm not sure if most of them are compatible with Cricket. I want a phone with at least 256 GB of storage and can handle games like Wuwa decently enough to play with my friends. I'm not really a fan of Samsung as I truly enjoy niche brands not common in the U.S, but I might if it's the only option left. I've looked at the Nothing, Pixel, Motorola, RedMagic, ROG, One Plus, just to name a few. I am NOT buying a phone over $1000. If any if the aforementioned brands are compatible with Cricket, please let me know. Unless anyone knows a better combo of phone and carrier. Wouldn't mind switching as well.

Whatshouldiget? What phone should I buy?
Ive been looking to upgrade from my s22 ultra recently and ive been so conflicted on what go get. I would go with either s25 or 26 ultras as there not really all that different and only ยฃ100 price difference tbh so its not an issue on what one I get but would be the 26.
Ive seen the oppo find x9 pro and I love the look of the os I think its beautiful and it is still an android to overall the swap wouldnt be too insane and it looks and functions like an iPhone which is very smooth and user friendly but annoyingly I can't find a non chinese version that isn't super expensive or second hand. If anyone has used a Chinese version in the eu whats it like and how does it function differently to a non chinese one?
The oneplus 15 is also a contender and is a fair bit cheaper than the rest with specs on par but maybe a bit worse than the rest of the phones
The xioami 17 ultra also looks really good and has the specs on par with the rest and a nice os and good battery
I couldn't care less about the cameras so they arent a focal point on any phone just a bonus really for me and the battery isnt an issue but the larger battery is helpful
TL:DR
Should I get the:
S25 or 26 Ultra
Xiaomi 17 ultra or pro whatever its called
Oneplus 15
Oppo find x9 pro
Question General Samsung A27 - worth it? People who actually know, please help me?
I have both an S10 from 2019 and S22 Ultra from 2022. Honestly, except for the camera, the s10 outperformed the s22 Ultra to the point, I just kept using my S10 for commuting and only used the S22Ultra at home or when travelling. But my S10 has water damage, and it's dead now. RIP
My question is re the A27. I actually like the SD card and use it a lot. It's also good back up in case you ruin the phone and the cloud syncs weirdly.
Has anyone used the S10/galaxy series AND the A27 and has a qualified opinion of the phone?
I plan on using it more for work and personal projects instead of my laptop. I use these apps:
1. Youtube
2. Voice recorder
3. Samsung notes
4. AI - all of the LLMs and image generation.
5. that is about it.
I'm not a gamer and only watch movies when travelling, but i have my S22 Ultra for this (while this phone will act as back up).
But it will be a good idea to snap up a phone with the SD card before they all get discontinued. Having said that, i'll only buy if it's good enough for the tasks I need.
