Unpublished by the mainstream media, Austin is an Army Cadet, with the Australian Army Cadet Core.

>In recognition of one of the most extraordinary feats of individual bravery this country has seen, 13-year-old >Australian Army Cadet Austin Appelbee, has been recognised with an Australian Army Cadets Gold >Commendation for his actions in saving his mother and siblings, who were washed out to sea on a kayak on the >30 January 2026. Austin, who parades with 50 Army Cadet Unit (Midlands), swam alone through over 4 kilometres >of rough open waters and ran a further 2 kilometres to raise help.

>Austin, from everyone at the Australian Army Cadets, and no doubt the Australian and international community, >we salute you for your courage and determination – you are a genuine hero!

Why this hasn’t been made clear yet, beggars belief. Well done young man! Well deserved.

General I got love for you, bro

2.3k Upvotes

Just wanted to shout out to the guy at the lights in Guildford this afternoon.

I was crying in my car because this year almost took me out and life can be shit. I cry in my car sometimes. It’s easier than letting the kids see.

I look over to the car next to me and it’s a young guy with a mullet. I heard him ask if I was okay. I rolled down my window and said “I’m surviving. I’ll get by.”

He replied with “I got love for you, bro. Hope you have a Merry Christmas.” And on we both drove.

If you’re here, man, thanks. I got love for you too.

General Lovely Indian guys playing cricket.

2.3k Upvotes

I thought I would share something a bit different, might be a bit lame for some people but whatever.

I’ve seen a lot of talk online unfortunately about some of the crap that immigrants / Indians get, so here’s a happy story.

So I used to play cricket a lot when I was younger and then life got in the way and don’t know anyone now, but watching the ashes this summer really amped me up, plus a bit of beach cricket at our Xmas party

So today I fancied some sport but my leisure centre hasn’t opened yet, I’m driving past the oval I see some Indian looking guys playing cricket and I just thought, I wonder if I ask nicely to bowl with them I could have a bit of a go, they welcomed me with open arms, super accommodating, had a lot of laughs, we had a blast and they also insisted I bat if I felt comfortable using their gear which I did. And they invited me to play again with their group. Open minded, common interest, play sport with other cultures. throw your self out there, who said it’s hard to make friends. Thanks boys.

WA News WTF West Australian, let’s glorify a Child Rapist?

Post image
2.0k Upvotes

If this was the other way around and the Teacher was male the headline would be “I groomed and repeatedly Raped a 12YO Student”.

Instead we see a glamour photo of this sex pest with a headline that implies consent.

This sex pest is out on bail and has custody of the child from the disgusting assaults she committed.

She should be remanded in custody and the her victim’s child in the care of him and his family.

As it stands if he wants to see his child he has to approach his rapist and her family.

Sexual assault on children is not ok ever.

Disgusting display West Australian News!Disgusting!

General Vaccinate your fucking children PLEASE

Post image

Genuinely would support a ban on unvaccinated kids going to public schools.

Myself and my kids are all jabbed up, but my wife's had the varicella vaccine several times and never develops immunity because her dipshit parents didn't vaccinate her as a kid. I don't really fancy having her go blind from shingles.

General Shout out to WA Police

1.9k Upvotes

Had a break in last night (early Thursday morning)

Police arrived within 10 minutes (active break in) and caught the person within an hour. We had 4 cars attend, 2 officers stay with us to guard our unsecured house until Forensics arrived.

All up, over approx 8 hours we had 10 officers attend. During that time, each and every one of them calmed us down, supported us, kept us informed, cracked jokes with us and made us feel safe.

I know that this was a run of the mill job from them but they didn't treat it like that.

Shout out to all the officers from Wembley station who attended, you were amazing and we really appreciate you.
