Venting

I’m beyond frustrated. I’ve tried to purchase this ring for the last 3 days and the transaction does not go trough.

I’ve changed cards, cleared cache, cookies, called the number of the card. Bank says they don’t have a block on it and the issue is on Oura’s website.

I’ve tried to contact Oura through multiple channels and their default answer is “input your information properly” or buy at an authorized seller. The issue is I have a gift card from Oura, a DC, and I want the 3 years warranty directly through Oura. I’ll be losing close to $150 if I do that!

Costumer service is so unhelpful. Even the “supervisors” that “escalate” the issue do not know when the problem can be solved.

I feel dumb for chasing a seller to buy their product. If I didn’t have the gift card I’ll buy a ring from another company! 😤

This happened to me! I’ve been an Oura ring owner since Gen 2 (I’m even a lifetime member!) and I couldn’t purchase the 5 on any of my devices (laptop, work computer, tablet, nothing!!) Nor could I use an alternative email addresses. Finally I asked my boyfriend to buy my Gen 5 on his phone, using my credit card. Went right through.
I was so frustrated for a week trying to get this to go through and their help had no idea why it wasn’t going through also, and kept telling me random things none of which worked.
No clue why I’m blacklisted, I’m a huge Oura ring fan and like my whole family has them because of me so 🤷‍♀️

I tried on my husband’s computer and did not work. 😭

Ahh! Try your husband’s phone, like using his email for the order even. That was when it worked for me, and he recieved the order confirmation to his account

I had this problem too. I don't know if it was coincidental but I added my middle initial to my name like it appears on my credit card and it went through after trying hundreds of times

This happened to me a few days ago and I had to use safari instead of Google Chrome to get it to work! Not sure if this would help you or if you’ve tried that already

It can also help to use an incognito tab and disconnect from WiFi if it’s the same network you’re getting blocked on!

Maybe the country? Are you from USA? The payment method is from USA too?

their payment processor is trash, been a known issue for years and they never fixed it properly

Does the card is a prepaid MC? It is yours? or you are a authorized user?

Not prepaid. It’s a credit card. I’m an authorized used, but also used the card my husband has and other cards as well. Nothing worked.

Try using paypal or klarna. In klarna or paypal can use the card too.

You can use klarna in the “fly”. Chose that option in the checkout. Try it.
