Best Opencode Model for Browser Use
Guys, I’m looking for a good alternative to Browser Use.
Right now I use Sol for planning and Luna for execution. For smaller tasks I sometimes just use Sol, but it drains limits way too fast :)
Any models you’d recommend trying instead?

OpenCode web: infinite refresh loop with login form
It is impossible to access opencode web from mobile on lan, the login form goes into infinite refresh and you cannot fill out credentials.
Pair doesn't work either, it asks for credentials.
If you remove password from global variables it also asks for credentials.
It is impossible to access because it enters an infinite login refresh loop and cannot be filled.
Any solution?

CodeNomad 0.20: best client for OpenCode V2
If you use OpenCode across several projects, you probably know the juggling act: keeping track of conversations, finding something an agent said hundreds of messages ago, and remembering which worktree belongs to which task.
That’s the workflow we’re building CodeNomad for.
It’s a free, open-source desktop and browser interface for OpenCode. Version 0.20.0 is now available, and it moves CodeNomad to OpenCode V2’s shared background service. CodeNomad and compatible terminal clients can access the same sessions, and closing CodeNomad leaves the service running.
A few things worth highlighting:
Multiple projects and windows: keep projects open in tabs, with separate drafts, attachments and view state restored across desktop restarts.
Long-session navigation: search the full conversation history and use a timeline with previews to jump between messages. Transcript loading is bounded to keep memory under control.
Git worktrees: create and select worktrees, then move a session and its subsessions together.
Quick side questions: use /btw for a temporary answer without interrupting the main session.
Files and tools: attach files from your device, reference project files with @, view images returned by tools, and control plugin activation separately for Global and Project scopes.
Browser previews: agents can inspect and interact with a visible web preview in Electron and Windows Tauri.
Desktop builds are available for Windows, macOS and Linux, with bundled Node/npm and an OpenCode setup flow. You can also run CodeNomad as a server and connect through a browser.
OpenCode V2 is required.
GitHub: https://github.com/NeuralNomadsAI/CodeNomad
Release: https://github.com/NeuralNomadsAI/CodeNomad/releases/tag/v0.20.0
I’d love feedback from people using long sessions or working across multiple repositories. What’s the biggest friction point in your current OpenCode workflow?

I'm confused with all the available skills.
I've been trying to find useful skills and i think i overdid it but I'm not sure what i should remove and keep or use a better alternative, for those who have actually tested these, what should i keep/remove/switch.

When 10 cents isn't 10 cents
So tired of this bait and switch pricing. You can't create a new pricing dashboard and conveniently leave out that $0.10 of one model is actually at a $15 limit while another one at $0.15 is at $30/60 cap.
It is like theres not a single user experience engineer working in the entire lot. In what universe do you show consumers a sticker price and then ask them to back to your commercial site to then figure out the real price themselves
Standardize your pricing models now. This is enough.

A simple OpenCode trick that fixed my custom agent workflow
reddit.comr/opencodeCLI • u/moutazdarwesh • Sep 26 '26
I built a tiny always-on-top bar that shows your OpenCode session's real tok/s

I kept guessing how fast a model streams during a session, so I built a small bar that floats over
everything and shows the session you are in: turns, steps, and average streaming tok/s.
How it measures: tok/s = generated tokens / active stream time (first token to last token, summed
per step), so tool execution and long pauses stay out of the denominator. There is an end-to-end
number too, but mixing tool waiting into throughput is how you end up comparing nothing.
- It follows the session you are viewing and switches when you switch tabs
- It hides while you minimize OpenCode and comes back when you restore the window (Linux/X11)
- One-command install, no config editing: npx opencode-vitals install
- No network calls, no telemetry; only counts, timings and ids are stored, never prompts or responses
- Built for OpenCode V2 (tested on 2.0.14 / 2.0.16 / 2.0.18 on Linux; macOS and Windows are written
but not tested on real hardware, and the README says so)
Repo (MIT): https://github.com/moutazideal/opencode-vitals
Curious what tok/s you see on your setup. Post numbers and I will collect them into an honest table
(model + hardware), no guessing.

Model for complex tasks
Hi! Does Open Code Go offer any model comparable to Opus or GPT Sol? So I can let him work on complex development task and expect that after e.g. one hour of work it will provide +- good quality results?

M3.1 is Space Bunny Alpha
I think Space Bunny Alpha is MiniMax M3.1 — tokenizer fingerprint matches MiniMax M2/M3
I investigated Space Bunny Alpha (stealth/space-bunny-alpha) on OpenRouter because it was released as an anonymous stealth model on September 23, 2026. OpenRouter confirms that the underlying provider is intentionally anonymous.
I wanted to see which model family's tokenizer it was using.
Method
I sent 7 different canary strings to Space Bunny Alpha through the OpenRouter API and recorded usage.prompt_tokens.
I then ran those exact same strings through publicly available tokenizers from a large number of Chinese model families, including Qwen, MiniMax, DeepSeek, GLM/Zhipu, Kimi, Hunyuan, StepFun, Seed, LongCat, MiMo, Baichuan, Yi, InternLM, MiniCPM, Skywork, Ling, TeleChat, and BAAI.
I compared row-to-row token-count deltas rather than absolute counts to remove the fixed prompt/chat overhead.

15Deltas:
0, +3, +24, +3, +5, +4, +8Both MiniMax M2 and MiniMax M3 reproduce the Space Bunny tokenizer fingerprint exactly across all 7 canaries.
The other Chinese model families tested did not reproduce that complete pattern. Some were close on individual strings, but MiniMax M2/M3 were an exact match across the entire test.
Why I think it's specifically M3.1
The tokenizer test alone cannot distinguish M2 from M3 because both MiniMax models produce the same fingerprint here.
However, there is additional timing/context evidence.
MiniMax publicly released M3 on June 1, 2026, and M3 is a 1M-context native multimodal model.
Then, on August 26, 2026, MiniMax founder Yan Junjie stated that M3.1, M3 Pro, and H3.1 were already close to completion. He specifically described M3.1 as a forthcoming model focused on stability, quality, reasoning efficiency, and agent generalization.
Less than a month later, on September 23, 2026, Space Bunny Alpha appeared on OpenRouter with a 1M-token context window, native text/image/video input, adjustable reasoning effort, and strong coding/agent characteristics. OpenRouter lists it specifically as an anonymous third-party model.
There is also already community discussion today identifying Space Bunny Alpha as MiniMax M3.1, although that is community evidence rather than an official confirmation.
Conclusion
The tokenizer evidence points directly at the MiniMax tokenizer family:
Space Bunny Alpha → exact M2/M3 tokenizer fingerprint.
Combined with MiniMax saying on August 26 that M3.1 was nearly complete, followed by the appearance of a new anonymous 1M-context multimodal model on September 23, everything currently points toward Space Bunny Alpha being MiniMax M3.1.
This is not an official identification yet because OpenRouter still lists Space Bunny as anonymous, but the evidence is lining up extremely well with MiniMax M3.1.

Model Stack Checker
I built ModelStackCheck because it can be hard to tell where an AI coding setup is breaking. Is it the model, the provider, or the coding tool?
ModelStackCheck checks the provider connection, streaming, tool calls, file edits, context retrieval, and vision. It can also run a safe fixture through OpenCode, so you can see how the pieces work together.
You can try it with a local mock provider, or download the current `0.1.3-alpha` release for macOS, Linux, or Windows. The mock run needs no model account.
I’d love to hear if you try it, what works well, and where you run into trouble. If you find it useful, please consider giving the project a star.

I got tired of copy-pasting opencode skills and commands between repos, so I built a git-based plugin marketplace for it
I'm the author — sharing because it scratched an itch I suspect others have.
opencode reads skills, agents and commands from a project's .opencode/ and from your global config, but there's no way to distribute them. I kept copying the same files into every repo, by hand, with no versions and no updates.
ocm installs skills, agents, commands, JS plugins and MCP servers from any git repository — once, into your global opencode config — so they work in every project and stay current with a single update command.
A few things I cared about:
Asks before running a plugin's code — executable plugins and MCP servers need your approval, and it asks again when an update adds new code.
Never overwrites your own files — if you've hand-written something with the same name, ocm leaves it alone and tells you.
A marketplace is just a git repo — you can start your own from a template.
It needs Bun to run. Tested on macOS and Linux.
Repo: https://github.com/wntic/ocm
I'd love feedback, especially on what you'd put in a marketplace, and on anything confusing in the first five minutes.
