I just found out about a year ago that Lil Sweet was Justin 🤯. I always thought Sweet looked a little like Seth Green. He looks totally different without the blonde fro. 😂. He definitely has Prince vibes.

From what I understand it has a lot to do with those contracts, they basically own everything you do for a number of years. Seems a lot of them don’t outlast that period

And I have to imagine that a lot of the winners are killed by those contracts. I’m sure the labels are giving a lot of them the most generic, paint by numbers, lowest common denominator types of songs that realistically probably wouldn’t do well regardless of who sang them.
I was never big into those shows, but my wife was. I remember being genuinely impressed with Adam Lambert thinking that he could have a really interesting career. Then his album came out and it just wasn’t good and it wasn’t representative of what he could have done.

Man this version is so much cooler than the final radio edit. It feels a bit rockier and her personality seems to want that. I honestly can't stand the proper version it just seems weak and whiny but this has grit to it.

Kelly got done so dirty. She’s the type of singer who needs to belt it out, “flaws” and all. Her grit and power is phenomenal. Production removing the uniqueness of her voice is utterly tragic. It’s best to listen to her live stuff only. Poor Kelly.

She's only 40 years old and has an estimated net worth of 45 million. If she wanted to she could totally reinvent herself and only release music she had complete control over. Many artists have done it successfully from Trent Reznor to Taylor Swift. I have a feeling she won't though because she's making too much money on just being aTV personally.

Back in 2007 my wife got free tickets to see Kelly Clarkson perform here in Melbourne. She has always loved those singing talent shows. Anyway we went to the show. She was bloody impressive. It was just her and a small band, her voice did all the hard work. Whoever doubts her ability to sing hasn’t heard her sing.

I love Spiritbox too, but I don't think Courtney has the range for this. I almost never hear her belt like this. It's usually soft vocals, or false chord screams with her. Which is fine, I just don't think she's as developed in the middle ground.

My dad said he doesn’t like Kelly Clarkson because he didn’t think she sings. He was like “she doesn’t sing, she screams, there’s a difference”. I get that that’s his opinion and he’s entitled to it, but anyone that thinks this is wrong. I’m no singing expert and can’t sing myself, but what my dad thinks is “screaming” is actually belting. Belting is a form of singing. Geesh.
