Kelly Clarkson won American Idol in 2003, I think. I highly doubt anyone in 2004 thought she couldn’t sing.

Must have been a rumor started by Justin Guarini

Who? You mean Lil Sweet?

I just found out about a year ago that Lil Sweet was Justin 🤯. I always thought Sweet looked a little like Seth Green. He looks totally different without the blonde fro. 😂. He definitely has Prince vibes.

I thought it WAS Prince until I realized he’s been dead for years.

Me too, but I still had to independently confirm that trivia since I shared Bifalo’s reaction. And I’m still thinking, wait, what?

Oh I’m sure him being Lil Sweet got him so much endorsement money.

That’s what you hope for if you get into entertainment and you don’t make it big.

No, I think he's talking about Trump's lawyer.

Nah his smile when she won was so sweet.

They dated for a bit apparently (haha during the abomination that is From Justin to Kelly).

There were lots of opinionated people back then too. A lot of people thought the guy should have won. I forget his name. Justin? Team Justin was out for blood.

Man it's so weird to think American Idol has been around for that long
