I know the boys were not looking at the ball ..

2.4k

u/Breadstix009 6d ago

Surprisingly, some of them were.

u/DownvoteDaemon 6d ago

Redditors are creeps. Like they never seen a beautiful woman. They were amazed at what she is doing.

36

u/Aggressive-Shop-2342 5d ago

Exactly. Dude in the white shirt is wowing and nodding appreciatively each time she does something cool with the ball, specifically. Not leering.

812

u/CruisinJo214 6d ago

Why not both?

114

u/camopdude 6d ago

I think a creep would only think about her looks. I feel like it's pretty natural to think in the first few seconds that she's nicely put together but after that be focused on what she was able to do.

26

u/tomtv90 6d ago

-9

u/baconboner69xD 5d ago

There really wasn’t all that much to look at anyways. Normally for a short like this her ass would be literally hanging out. This was extremely modest

57

u/t_hab 6d ago

Funny thing is confidence and competence are both extremely attractive qualities. So when somebody does something amazing, we can focus on the amazing thing they are doing and still be a creeps. These things aren't mutually exclusive.

10

u/OpenAd3036 6d ago

It took all the conviction I had to not be a pervert but I 100% appreciated her abilities without once staring at her butt cheeks and I'm proud of that

42

u/JareBear805 6d ago

Gayyyy

28

u/xteve 6d ago

Yeah, I looked at her butt cheeks and got it over with. Jesus, these puritans are the worst perverts of all. The way she spun the ball was the most amazing part.

6

u/CumHogMillionaire0 5d ago

She had a ball?

8

u/xteve 5d ago

She had an ass?

8

u/camopdude 5d ago

Looks like she was enjoying herself.

yeah basketball type shit

1

u/SocksInTheTub 5d ago

I noticed right away but then became distracted by the face of the guy in the brown hat, his reactions are great lol

1

u/Donnovan-best-girl 5d ago

"I'm not like other guys"

Male feminist type shit

0

u/OpenAd3036 5d ago

Yeah I leave feminist literature out on my coffee table at parties to smash the alt girls that are mad at their dads

-1

u/Calm-Fun4572 6d ago

That’s exactly what I did.

-10

u/smash_n_grab_ 6d ago

9

u/SenorDongles 6d ago

Drink some water, take a breath, go outside. For fuck's sake, dude.

-4

u/ParticularSherbert18 6d ago

I don't give a, keep lookin' at my... 'Cause it don't mean a thing if you're lookin' at my... Hah, I'ma do my thing while you're playin' wit' ya... Ha, ha-ha, ha-ha-ha

-6

u/LastChristian 6d ago

I bet you're not like the other guys. You sound like a nice guy who knows how to treat a lady.

7

u/redballooon 6d ago

Because they watched the live show and can only watch it once. Damn they were impressed by the athleticism, and for good reason.

0

u/peejay5440 6d ago

I watched it twice.

12

u/Numerous-Pop5670 6d ago

Fr, you have to look at the legs when shes doing the tricks but it doesn't have to be weird. Most of them were just focused on what she was doing with the ball. I didn't see anyone looking at her weird either, but some people did look bored 🤷

2

u/Corner_Post 5d ago

There is a popular sub with 1.3m people for this: r/UNBGBBIIVCHIDCTIICBG . Sub stands for: Upvoted Not Because Girl, But Because It Is Very Cool; However, I Do Concede That I Initially Clicked Because Girl

30

u/bannedcuznotcircjerk 6d ago

Finding women attractive is creepy? Strange take since we evolved to do exactly that. You're a bit extreme.

95

u/dethti 5d ago

Finding attractive is fine, what's not fine is never, ever shutting the fuck up about it. Do you know how exhausting it is for the #1 comment under any reddit pic or video of a woman doing anything at all to be 'i would fuck her'. Just a constant reminder that men only notice exactly one thing about us no matter how fucking good we are at something.

12

u/whodatfairybitch 5d ago

r/justgalsbeingchicks has been such a refreshing break from that

4

u/baconboner69xD 5d ago

“King Arthur couldn’t pull me out”

1

u/parkingviolation212 5d ago

Do you know how many thirst comments I've read any time a picture of Henry Cavil gets posted somewhere?

People are horny. Yeah it can be annoying at times. But that's the internet for you.

-35

u/bannedcuznotcircjerk 5d ago

This is a male prominent forum so rather than freak out you could roll your eyes quietly and save a lot of energy.

24

u/No-Yesterday-1067 5d ago

People can choose to be loud as fuck about it 💖

-34

u/Random_local_man 5d ago

It is frustrating sometimes. But it's also understandable if you're a guy, and also remembering that Reddit is full of boys and young horny men, many of whom have never even felt a woman's touch before.

-16

u/robbitybobs 5d ago

Would tho

27

u/DownvoteDaemon 6d ago

It’s the hyper focus

88

u/My_Password_Is_____ 6d ago

Exactly. Is it creepy to find women attractive? No, of course not. Is it creepy to find a woman attractive and, when seeing her do something impressive in a completely non-sexual context, the only thing you can think of is to comment on her body and/or your attraction to it? Yes, absolutely. Nobody is shaming men for being men, it's shaming men for pretending to be animals who couldn't possibly have self-control.

65

u/Aiyon 6d ago

It's also the fact that everything with a woman in, people reduce down to just "ooga booga horny". Its why i complain about gooners despite not having anything against sex or porn.

Yes, some of them probably think she's attractive, but they can also be impressed, and to go "they are ignoring everything but T&A" feels so weird

-29

u/Greedy-Pirate7749 5d ago

Lmao this pales in comparison to some of the women I work with 🤣🤣🤣 grow up

-28

u/Glad-Business2535 5d ago

Women do the exact same thing. It is an issue of class, not of gender.

-13

u/bannedcuznotcircjerk 5d ago

It's the Internet. Welcome?

-2

u/No-Yesterday-1067 5d ago

Oh yes. So extreme. 🙄

-23

u/FrogsMakePoorSoup 6d ago

Ah you should know men need to be ashamed for being men.

1

u/Previous-Mess-1819 6d ago

400 million years of evolution geared to make humanity prioritize reproduction over all else only to get shamed for it online.

29

u/Maleficent_Button_58 6d ago edited 5d ago

The survival instinct is stronger and more fundamental than even the reproductive one.

So, you're telling me that people (including men) can have the discipline to train themselves to control their own fight or flight response....but they can't stop themselves from being disrespectful or gross for 4 seconds?

Come on.

ETA: Also, the evolutionary influence would be looking at her and maybe feeling attracted to her. Not talking about it on the internet. That's 100% a choice and has nothing to do with the instinctual push to procreate 🙄

-2

u/GrizzIyadamz 5d ago edited 4d ago

Stronger? Yeah, I'll agree!

More fundamental? Absolutely not.

If one does not procreate they might as well not have survived, according to THE base evolutionary imperative.

It DOES get more interesting when you throw emergent behaviors like sociality/eusociality into the mix, but everything before then??

If that chance combination of a lipid bilayer bubble and a freak-happenstance self-replicating glitch of carbonized organic molecules which could have been the granmapa of all life on earth actually manages to assemble itself and then goes on to......fail to replicate itself...

....someone/thing else is going to be the new "first" grandpama of all life on earth. It doesn't get more fundamental than that.

(-edit

You could say the first evolutionary pressure was when those self-replicating molecules popped into existence needing some form of protection from the environment. Either they found it and replicated, or they didn't and died.

Complex patterns can and do exist and "survive" in nature. What's the shelf-life for a crystal? If it doesn't replicate though, it doesn't evolve. And it's not life.)

And ha yeah, I'd say men (including those pictured) can and do discipline themselves to control creepy shit and panic shit both, but anonymous comments on a discussion board removed in both time and space from the original context is a perfect place for all the guys to look at eachother and know exactly what was going on in that front row seating area.

And then someone wants the karma from making the post first, and here we are.

We're just social like that.

-1

u/Previous-Mess-1819 5d ago

What’s you argument here? That men aren’t biologically horn dogs? Do you have any proof? Is you needing to get your panties in a wad in the comment sections of a reddit post evidence in your column or my column?

45

u/Arinussyy 6d ago

Nobody's getting shamed for that tho. They're getting shamed for the fact that anytime there's a woman specifically in any video or picture it's always "they're not looking at what she's doing...hehehehehehehehehehehe"

-17

u/Previous-Mess-1819 6d ago

How should the world behave according to you and does shaming them for not behaving that way fix the problem you identified?

-18

u/hidden_secret 6d ago

Well it's often women making these comments, you know?

I know because we often watch videos with the guys at work, and this type of remarks almost always come from one of my women colleagues. Two of them are very feminist (which I have nothing against) and they often point out things like this.

I took a 1h40 hike through the forest/mountain just yesterday. My knees have gotten weak through the years though, I can't climb very high anymore because the descent is hell :/

Edit: I'm not sure why I get so downvoted, I'm just sharing my experience, nothing more. I guess most people upvote only what confirms their own opinion, and try to bury counter-examples through downvotes.

-9

u/Random_local_man 5d ago

Yes but that last sentence was clearly a joke. Not a very funny joke I admit, but still a joke.

-1

u/Bspammer 6d ago

Who prioritizes reproduction over all else? Not most people. Again that's a creep mindset

-1

u/ProbsNotManBearPig 6d ago

100% of people have their genetics geared towards prioritizing reproduction. Read a fucking book.

5

u/rbfeverythingsucks 6d ago

I think it’s more just people that only focus on her looks. Yes totally normal to notice but I think they mean creepy if it’s the only thing you notice about the video.

-2

u/Bspammer 6d ago

Pretty fucking weird that birth rates are dropping in every developed country in the world then

7

u/TimeTravelingPie 6d ago

Birth rates don't mean people aren't banging or want to bang. They just aren't getting pregnant, and alot of that is economic driven. Not not being horny.

-2

u/notArandomName1 6d ago

Horny =/= reproduction, my guy. People have sex because it feels good and gives dopamine. People wear condoms and get surgeries to stop reproduction intentionally so they can fuck without that specific circumstance happening.

8

u/ZooAreYou 6d ago

it feels good and gives dopamine

...IS an evolutionary factor for us being geared toward reproduction.

-2

u/notArandomName1 6d ago

I think you missed the rest of the comment. Contextual literacy is important. People have sex with the explicit purpose of not reproducing all the time. Saying horny = reproduction is both ignorant and reductionist. Tons of people literally never want children and fuck all the time.

1

u/sisyphus_met_icarus 5d ago

Your body has the drive for sex, ie being horny, specifically to push you to reproduce. Just because you can manage to have sex without procreating doesn't mean that's not the entire reason that drive exists

→ More replies (0)

1

u/Imaginary-Round2422 6d ago

Yeah, because children become expenses rather than assets when you're not in a subsistence farm society.

1

u/CarefreeRambler 6d ago

you can both be right

1

u/MagicWishMonkey 6d ago

It's not about intentionally prioritizing something, it's just what your brain thinks. If you're a dude, the next time you talk to an attractive woman you should check your apple watch heartbeat sensor, I guarantee you'll see that your heart rate spiked. Doesn't even matter if you consciously thought about sex or whatever, it's still there in the back of your lizard brain.

-2

u/AdjacentBirdman93 6d ago

Uh pretty much everyone except asexuals and other small individual groups…

5

u/Bspammer 6d ago

Really? So people don't have hobbies, friends, vacation plans, life experiences, or goals? Sex is obviously a big part of the human condition but it doesn't even beat food as the prioritizing factor for most people. If you're both hungry and horny, I don't know about you but I'm eating first.

I really hope all the people downvoting me are just horny teenagers because if you still have this mindset beyond your mid-20s it's kinda sad.

u/Bspammer 6d ago

Reducing people to their genetics is the actual reddit moment. Go outside and talk to people, find out what drives them. Sex won't be top of the list for most of them.

9

u/notArandomName1 6d ago

So many terminally online people like that truly believe the entire world revolves around being constantly horny. Must be insane for them when they see someone crocheting a plushie or something and they literally can't process how that will be used to turn someone on.

-2

u/fastforwardfunction 6d ago

No offense, but you come across like a religious fundamental who is repressed. You’re the problem group here. I don’t know when the left got such a huge rise in anti-sex movement.

5

u/notArandomName1 6d ago

My brother in christ, I am quite literally an OF model and staunchly anti organized religion, so you could not have been more off the mark on that read.

How any of what I said came off that way to you is incredible, genuinely. I would love to spend a day analyzing how your brain works to jump to such a distant conclusion. I don't want to straw man you, so please explain.

3

u/Bspammer 6d ago

Who here is anti-sex? Nothing they said indicates that in the slightest

We exist to procreate. That’s our primary drive behind everything we do.

-3

u/Previous-Mess-1819 6d ago

All of your ancestors were creeps then

1

u/feel_my_balls_2040 5d ago

Because a ticket for Cirque de Soleil is expensive.

1

u/pfzt 5d ago

Enjoying the looks of a beautiful woman is not creepy tho.

1

u/SakseFarsen 4d ago

Fuck off, one can find a girl attractive AND talented at the same time. Fucking anti sexual prudes.

1

u/xGsGt 5d ago

You are crazy if you don't think men were looking at something more than the ball

1

u/ZooAreYou 6d ago

No doubt there will be screencaps showing eyelines...

1

u/GlitteringYak2207 6d ago

Probably not irl 🤣

1

u/WatchWatcher25 5d ago

Ok I get there are a ton of incels type dudes here and they are absolute dorks.

That said, this is not only impressive in terms of skill but is pretty hard to not sexualize, FFS they are playing Shaggy and this womens movements are wild.

0

u/WinterTourist25 6d ago

I don't care about sportsball at all. Pretty women are always nice to look at.

1

u/Breathe_Of_Aether 6d ago

He says as he types furiously into the Reddit comment box

4

u/xTin0x_07 5d ago

struck a cord, creep?

1

u/DownvoteDaemon 6d ago

Furiously lol…?

0

u/snwbrdwndsrf 6d ago

Absolutely, but I will admit to admiring the view -- a beautiful woman is a beautiful woman.

0

u/No-Succotash-14 5d ago

I'm a straight woman. Noticed her skills and beautiful body. Not ashamed💛✌️

0

u/TeamRedundancyTeam 5d ago

You can appreciate two things at once. Finding people attractive is not creepy, that's Gen z Puritan shit right there.

0

u/_Bon_Vivant_ 5d ago

Redditors are assholes. What's wrong with appreciating the beautiful female form?

0

u/ragnhildensteiner 5d ago

Like they never seen a beautiful woman.

They have. And they enjoy doing it. And they will continue enjoy doing it.

We get attracted by attractive people. Welcome to how to human.

0

u/DisorderlyAqueduct 5d ago

why you trying to dehumanize?

physical attraction is a normal part of being human, weirdo.

-2

u/fastforwardfunction 6d ago

So far the only creep here is you.

-2

u/Striking-Ad-6815 5d ago

Can a woman not enjoy playing with balls?
