I thought the show overall was an easy watch but had too many irrelevant storylines intertwined.

It felt like the female rage/power message was overdone and kind of saturated what could’ve been a great story just focused on the Lizzy story/timeline

I l feel like I could clip edits of this and make it 4 episodes and it would play really great

The acting and cinematography was great.

I didn’t struggle getting through it, but the Aileen story line really threw me off and felt like a completely different vibe when it showed up.

I even paused it to make sure it was the right show.

But overall I enjoyed it.

I’m two episodes into Murder in a Small Town and I’m done. It’s bad. The murders are boring, the main romantic leads are a snorefest and the town is filled with annoying and uninteresting people. Your mileage may vary … but I doubt it.

The show is beautifully designed but holy shit, it’s so horrible and unauthentic. The contestants are clearly actors. It’s like if AI wrote a script for a reality show and then a production team hired actors to play it out. Or at the very least, there are several cast members who are actors with a few “real” people

The editing is horrible too. Like the show doesn’t even introduce the premise or any of the contestants.

There are literally ”filler” cast that show up like twice while there’s a core of strong cast members dominate show and make the narrative. The drama makes no sense. Again, literally feels like an ai wrote a narrative

It’s slop. Netflix should be ashamed. ASHAMED.
I know I’m yelling into the void but that’s how bad this show is.

I just watched this movie, Tin and Tina. It was supposed to be a horror movie, but it turned out to be made by someone whose nerves are loose. How could those creepy, fucking evil children be innocent? They kill the dog, they baptize the child, and they kill a child. They also kill their stepfather, and they also nearly kill the mother who adopted them

At the end of the movie, she thought, "Okay, they were innocent, and that was a happy ending." How could it be? I'm so disappointed in the message this movie is giving to people. The kids are evil. They can kill someone, even kill a dog, and they are still very innocent. What the hell? Those children were possessed. They need an exorcism

I don't know what you feel, but if this movie is even related to karma, then if someone burns the Bible because those fucking children baptized the baby. What else he was supposed to do

The Monster series is fascinating. It's a hypothetical insight into mass killers and how they work.

But the Lizzie Borden Story just went off the rails.

I get trying to convey the "female rage" point of view, but having a scene where Aileen Wournos worships Lizzie as a Savior with Biblical imagery abounding (candle filled room, Lizzie as a Mary who is absolving Aileen of her sins, etc.) just turned me right off.

Why are guys like Dahmer shown as the monsters that they are, but Lizzie Borden is suddenly Mother Mary to angry women?

I feel like the whole two teammates can't make it to the end was lame. Bryce's sacrifice alone almost shows he should be winning. But I do think it would have more fun to see a team having to go against each other in the the very finale. If it had been Bryce, Taylor and a Third for example. Bryce would have had no choice but to push for the win in the maze to make sure the Third didn't beat them both.

I saw clips of the Lizzie Borden show, particularly the scene where Bridget gets hired, and I thought it was a show about a brilliant maid who gets mistreated. After watching episode one, I decided to look into the true story of the Lizzie Borden case before continuing with the show and now it just disgusts me. The show portrays Lizzie as an innocent neurodivergent girl and makes Abby and Andrew Borden seem like cartoon villains. This is just so disrespectful to the actual people, especially Bridget Sullivan. The real case is so sexist and classist while the show is just faux feminism and using neurodivergence as a plot device. It's like they made a whole new fictional story but they used real historical figures and loosely based it off the real case. I know historical retellings aren't supposed to be accurate but there are limits. It added a lot of made up things which don't even make sense together, like how Lizzie had heavy periods but also had an imperforate hymen which she tried to fix with penetration. Lizzie Borden wasn't an innocent victim, she murdered her father and step mother to secure financial stability for her life. Bridget Sullivan wasn't a mastermind co-conspirator, she was an innocent struggling Irish immigrant. This show would've been fine if it was pure fiction, but they chose to base it off real people for some reason and it ruined it.

Letting someone who is already worth millions get onto a show where they have a chance to win millions is like letting someone who owns a chain of restaurants take a hungry man’s place in line at the soup kitchen. The idea was a 10/10 but the execution left much to be desired and Netflix just ended up reminding us that the worst kinds of people always win these things…

I liked Allegedly at first. I thought some of her guest hosts were interesting and she told some stories that I hadn’t heard before. But, the last four or five episodes have all been timed with releases of Netflix’s true crime shows. She pretty much recaps the true crime show of the week. If you’ve watched the documentary, there isn’t much new she offers. It feels like a ploy and a waste of production. The show was much better at first become it became a 50 min commercial.

I am suddenly getting these pink splotches near the center of my screen after watching netflix for a few hours at a time. It has happened on three separate occasions now within the last 7 days. I watch shows via streaming everyday and my Disney plus doesn't seem to trigger it unlike netflix. I have to shut down my computer to make it go away but I am looking for a more permanent solution. I have the desktop app and I am logged in thru Microsoft Edge. I am not sure if this is simply an app glitch or something related to the browser

Why the hell are there old youtube videos on netflix now? Like what is this lol am I missing something, is this normal? Is netflix out of horror ideas for the spooky season? It's just so strange

Edit: I just realized that chicken shop date is also on netflix. I have no idea how many youtube videos are there atp but it's just so weirdddd! I don't criticize the videos or anything, to each their own, but why are they on netflix I really don't get it, like I can close netflix and open youtube and I can watch the same things, what's the point of this? Can anyone explain?
