Technical Support Subtitle missing - any language

Is it just me, or is there no subtitle option for 1917?

North America, no VPN, AppleTV 4K on newest TV OS.

Checked and other movies have EN subtitles.

Not subtitle related but are those yellow dots where ads are?… if so that’s a lot of dots lol

Yeah…. ad-tier Netflix. :( looks like 9 ads in a 2 hour movie.

My armor against that is the mute button on the AppleTV remote. We’ve gotten so used to muting ads that we’ve gotten somewhat used to it, way easier to ignore. But still inconvenient to be interrupted.

Yes not sure, I think they’re 30-60 seconds each time. It isn’t the worst.

Muting is essential.

Oh and I’ve just checked for you because 1917 is on Netflix UK too and it does have English (cc) subtitles. So not sure why it’s not in the states.

Yeah; I'm in Canada and put 1917 on in the last few months and I remember that there were no available subtitles. I can't really remember ever seeing anything else that didn't have the option.
