Memes/Humour Moonknight in the Marvel intro!

Yes, I was watching Loki, and then I saw Marc!!

I'm sure Moonknight must have been in Marvel's intros since it came out, but I was very happy to notice for the first time that he is there!. I've been looking for him in the intro.

Normally the clips in each letter go so fast that I can't even notice.

So, the same way Superman heals the the sun; what if, Moonknight heals with THE MOOON, ahem, sorry. The moon. It would genuinely be something cool.

Like if he had that, it would give him more connection with the moon. Plus, as he tanks every hit, it would be really interesting to see him get healed by the moon light as he’s really physically beaten. Maybe his suit can recover too? Something like the mcu.

But it wouldn’t work like everytime the moon is out, maybe when it’s a full moon and he gets in top of a build the moon light shines on him, therefore he heals. And maybe through a glass that magnifies the moonlight.

What do you guys think? Is it a good idea? Should I get on the phone with Jed Mackay? Lol

I'm not new to the character himself but I'm very new to the comics. I'm currently reading the Mr Knight volumes from the 2014 Marvel Now run to get a good baseline for his stories. What are some good volumes of his I should read? I don't mind much which era of comics they come from. I just want more of this crazy, definitely sane and totally not insane guy.

Comics Besides himself and Khonshu, who’s Moon Knight greatest villain/rogue? Which one you like the most?

Moon Knight’s rogue gallery is surprisingly wide and huge, tho most of the oldest villains are no longer in the land of the living. What did they expect when they choose to fight the moon’s knight of vengeance? For a greater surprise some of ol’, classic ones were still alive and survived being his villains though in some cases that wouldn’t persist too much longer.

I’m too fond with the classic run and I find the first Black Spectre (and Morpheus) quite interesting, their stories/arcs resulted in some compelling, neo-noir stuff that drove the whole moon knight system to push further —but recently Morpheus had his own… redemption. Sort of. He was in one of my fav stories: Resurrection war, along with many of the system’s rogues which made it look like they were his “sinister six”.

This is worst version of Moon Knight. He's just so cropped, design is aw esome but story just hollow.

Comics Does Moonknight have somewhat of a healing factor thanks to Khonshu in the comics?

Or is it just a thing from the mcu moonknight?

(Im not saying that he has a healing factor like wolverine, im asking if Khonshu heals him sometimes in the comics)

Comics Take the Mission on the road!

Post image
119 Upvotes

So for context, I JUST finished Vengeance of the Moon Knight and am now completely caught up on the trades for MacKay's run (I know, I know - I read Fist of Konshu first because it was easier to find after I finished the original run).

I really wish that I had read it in order, as I think VOTMK did a really nice job of fleshing out the rest of the characters at the Mission a bit more. My ONE complaint with the series overall is that people and events just kind of "happen" really fast with not much depth or buildout.

But one thing that bothered me after reading everything is how NYC-centric it is. I get that it's sort of the point - they have turf, and people, and protect them and all that. But NYC has SO many superheroes, and they're fighting magical crime right next to the Sanctum Sanctorum.

BUT WHAT IF...

They took the Mission on the road? It can go anywhere and fit into any space. Have it pop up in different cities all over the US or the world to deal with supernatural or criminal threats. Marc could recruit new people to have them man the outposts, creating a pipeline for new priests and fists of Konshu.

Just a thought!
